Abstract

This studi aim to indentify and analyze the realtionship between Gold Price, Stock Price, Exchange rate and Interest rate in Indonesia. The type of this research is associative descriptive research. Where the data used is monthly data of time series from January 2014 to December 2019 obtained from Bank of Indonesia (BI) and hargaemas.org. Analysis model uses Granger Block Causality, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to see  interaction the long and short term between of variabel, Impluse Response Function (IRF) and Forecast Error Variance Decomposition (FEVD) in looking at the response of variability to the variables to the variables associated with those shown by other endogenous variables. The finding of this study indicate that:(1) There is a one way causality relationship between interest rate and gold price, where only  interest rate affects gold price. (2) In the short run, Shock of stock price, exchange rate and interest rate do not contribute to the variability of gold price in Indonesia, but shock of  exchange rate is only to variability response of gold price on long run. (3) Shock of gold price, exchange rate and interest rate do not contribute to the variability  of stock price in short term but variability of stock price is only based on long term gold price shock. (4) Exchange rate variability is contribute by stock price in the short and long term. But, in the long run shock interest rate also to the varibility of stock price. (5) Variability of interest rate is only contibuted by gold price in the short and long term in Indonesia.

The influence between urbanization and income inequality inIndonesia. The data in this study uses secondary data from 1981 to 2018 obtained fromthe BPS and World Bank websites. This study uses multiple linear regression models. Aswell as data analysis used, namely descriptive analysis and inductive, in inductiveanalysis there are several tests in it including: (1) Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) test, (2)Classical Assumption Test (3) Error Correction Model (ECM)(4) Final results of longtermequations, (5) Hypothesis Test. The results of this study found that in the long termfinancial development has a significant positive effect, foreign direct investment has asignificant negative effect and urbanization has a positive and significant effect onincome inequality in Indonesia. Meanwhile, in the short term financial development has apositive and insignificant effect, foreign direct investment has no significant positiveeffect and urbanization has a negative and insignificant effect on income inequality inIndonesia.Keyword : Financial Development, Foreign Direct Investment, Urbanization and IncomeInequality

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to be able to determine the effect of world oil prices on economic growth in Indonesia by applying the exchange rate moderating variable and the BI rate as a connecting variable. Descriptive and associative research is a type of research that is used with data collection techniques through a trusted official agency website that is classified in the quarterly time series secondary data. The data year in this study was from 2006 to 2018. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive and inductive analysis with a Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) data analysis tool accompanied by a classic assumption test and a t test. Estimation results show that there are two research results; firstly, that the exchange rate has an effect on moderating the relationship between world oil prices and economic growth in Indonesia, secondly, that the BI rate has no influence connecting world oil prices and economic growth in Indonesia. Keywords: World oil prices, economic growth, exchange rates, BI rate, Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relation of causality of population, economic growth and prosperity of society in jambi province. The data used is panel data during the period 2004-2016. The data analysis tools used are Panel Granger Causality Test and Panel Vector Autoregression (PVAR). This study finds that the welfare of society does not have causality relation to population, vice versa. People's welfare has a causal relationship to economic growth and vice versa. And the population does not have causality relation to economic growth, but economic growth has relation to population. The results of PVAR found that the welfare of the community during a particular period was significantly influenced by the welfare of the community in the previous period, as well as the population and economic growth.
