Abstract

In today's digital world, people are using social media at a higher rate than ever before. One digital marketing phenomenon is the use of services from a virtual influencer. Virtual influencers are computer-generated models who are becoming increasingly famous on social media. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the communication way of virtual influencers in the digital marketing era. The current study uses a literature review method that searches article titles and abstracts in electronic databases (Scopus and Google Scholar) for studies published between 2018-2022 using keywords. The importance of this research is due to the phenomenon and data literature on lifestyle, interaction patterns, and most of the media production from conventional to digital which has a significant impact on the development of the digital world. The results show the perspective of digital experts on the efficacy and trustworthiness of the use of virtual influencers as a marketing strategy is capable of promoting businesses. Virtual characters can give a new color and dimension to the global marketing world and will be widely used in various industries such as fashion, music, games, films, marketing, education, and politics.

Abstract

Wabah Covid-19 penyakit disebabkan oleh virus corona, menyerang pada saluran pernafasan. Gejala adalah demam, panas, dan batuk kering. Penularan dari orang ke orang lain, agar tidak menyebar perlu adanya pencegahan. Oleh karena itu pelaksaan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah serentak di beberapa daerah perlu menghindari kampanye terbuka. Bentuk partisipasi yang dilakukan oleh warga masyarakat yaitu mendukung kebijakan pemerintah, menghindari kerumunan orang yang berlebihan. Melakukan sesuatu positif untuk mengurangi penyebaran terhadap virus corona.Kata kunci : Pencegahan Covid19, Pemilihan Kepala Daerah

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah lebih jauh video yang berjudul “what is the truth about post-factual politics?”mengenai kasus di Amerika terkait Trump dan di Inggris terkait Brexit. Fenomena post truth/post factual juga terjadi di Indonesia sebagaimana terlihat pada pertarungan politik yang dialami Ahok pada Pilkada DKI yang lalu. Melalui pendekatan pemikiran Michel Foucault mengenai post truth dengan logika asertif, media massa dikonstruksikan bagi pihak yang berkepentingan dan mengabaikan realitas yang sesungguhnya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media baru atau new media ternyata mampu menebar berbagai wacana mulai dari memengaruhi pemikiran, perilaku masyarakat hingga ideologi yang dianut oleh suatu masyarakat. Kata kunci: Post factual, post truth, new media This research further examines the video entitled “what is the truth about post-factual politics?” about the case in the United States related to Trump and in the UK related to Brexit. The phenomenon of Post truth/post factual also occurs in Indonesia as seen in the political struggle experienced by Ahok in the governor election (DKI Jakarta). Through Michel Foucault's approach to post truth with assertive logic, the mass media is constructed for the interested parties and ignores the real reality. The conclusion of this study indicates that new media was able to spread various discourses ranging from influencing the way of thoughts, behavior of society to the ideology adopted by a society.Keywords: Post factual, post truth, new media

Abstract

Abstrak Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika sosial para pengikut Penghayat Kepercayaan dan mengungkap transformasi sosio-spiritual Paguyuban Cahya Sejati dalam mempromosikan harmoni di Cilacap. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, analisis dokumen, dan tinjauan literatur komprehensif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan: 1) komunitas Penghayat Kepercayaan di Cilacap mengalami transformasi sosio-spiritual setelah mendapatkan pengakuan resmi dari pemerintah, yang memberi mereka kebebasan lebih untuk mengembangkan organisasi mereka; 2) Paguyuban Cahya Sejati, sebagai bagian dari organisasi MLKI di Cilacap, mewujudkan moderasi keagamaan melalui dialog antar komunitas, pertunjukan seni budaya, dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan masyarakat. Ajaran spiritual seperti memayu hayuning sasomo (berbuat baik kepada sesama), memayu hayuning bawono (peduli pada alam semesta), karakter sosial, bantuan saling menolong, dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi negara mewakili praktik moderasi keagamaan yang berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti peran penting pengakuan resmi dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan sosio-spiritual komunitas Penghayat Kepercayaan dan kontribusi positif mereka terhadap harmoni sosial. Studi ini memperkaya pemahaman kita tentang bagaimana pengakuan formal mendukung komunitas-komunitas ini dalam menjaga moderasi keagamaan dan mempengaruhi harmoni sosial secara positif. Abstract This study aimed to explore the social dynamics of Penghayat Kepercayaan followers and elucidate the socio-spiritual transformation of Paguyuban Cahya Sejati in promoting harmony in Cilacap. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, document analysis, and comprehensive literature reviews. The research findings show: 1) the Penghayat Kepercayaan community in Cilacap experienced a socio-spiritual transformation after receiving official recognition from the state, allowing them more freedom to develop their organization; 2) Paguyuban Cahya Sejati, as part of the MLKI organization in Cilacap, embodies religious moderation through inter-community dialogues, cultural art performances, and participation in community activities. Spiritual teachings such as memayu hayuning sasomo (doing good to others), memayu hayuning bawono (caring for the universe), social character, mutual assistance, and adherence to state regulations represent a sustainable practice of religious moderation. The implications of this research highlight the pivotal role of official recognition in fostering the socio-spiritual development of Penghayat Kepercayaan communities and their constructive contribution to social cohesion. This study enriches our understanding of how formal acknowledgment supports these communities in maintaining religious moderation and positively influencing societal harmony.

Abstract

The regional head election as a form of democracy, to elect governors, mayors/regents, is always accompanied by problems and negative impacts, while in the regional head election system there are two methods of election: direct regional head elections and indirect regional head elections. This results in a model or idea that is no longer directly elected, reverting to the representative method that is identical to the period before the reform. The purpose of this research is to understand how direct regional head elections work and how indirect regional head elections are conducted. The research method used is normative research (library research) or literature review related to legislation. The results of this research indicate that direct local elections have caused various issues, thus it is necessary to reorganize the mechanisms, improve the regulations, and ensure the implementation of local elections that are honest, open, and fair. Representative local elections do not contradict the 1945 Constitution in Article 18 Paragraph (4), where local leaders are chosen democratically, hence representative local elections can reduce these problems.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kademangan Village, Probolinggo City, East Java, have not yet fully developed. This is due to a lack of knowledge and understanding about the importance of brands and digital branding. MSMEs in Kademangan Village only focus on production and sales, without understanding the importance of digital branding for a business. As we know, MSMEs are one of the backbones of the country's economy so assistance is needed to develop and advance them. This community service aims to increase knowledge and understanding of MSMEs in Kademangan Village about the importance of digital branding. The methods used include socialization, assistance and guidance for MSME actors in Kademangan Village. The results of the activity show an increase in MSME players' understanding of branding and how to market products via social media.
