Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between machining learning achievement and industry work experience together with work readiness in the industry. This type of research is ex-post facto. Methods of data collection used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistical analysis, test the first and second hypotheses using the partial correlation test and the third hypothesis test using multiple regression which is preceded by tests of normality, linearity and independence. The results of the study show that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between machining learning achievement and industrial work practice experience together with work readiness in the industry with a calculated R value = 0.344 with the contribution 11.8%. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between machining learning achievement and work readiness in industry with r count = 0.244 with a significant level of 0.014 <0.05. (3) There is a positive and significant relationship of industrial work practice experience with work readiness in the industry with a value of r count = 0.242 with a significant level of 0.015 <0.05. The machining learning achievement gave contribution 5.8% and industrial work practice experience gave contribution 6.0% toward work readiness in the industry.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar gambar teknik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning (PjBL). Hasil belajar gambar teknik otomotif yang diperoleh siswa tergolong rendah dibawah nilai KKM (<75) hal itu dikarenakan penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional (ceramah) yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMK Muhammadiyah III Yogyakarta tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Kendaraan Ringan yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik observasi, angket, dan tes melalui pre-test dan post-tes. Analisis data menggunkan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar gambar teknik. Pada siklus I keaktifan yang tinggi mencapai 60%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 72%, dan pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 80%. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang telah mencapai standar nilai minimal 75 pada siklus I sebesar 60%, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 64%, dan pada siklus III mencapai 88%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PjBL dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar gambar teknik otomotif siswa kelas X Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Muhammadiyah III Yogyakarta.

Abstract

     PENERAPAN METODE DISCOVERY LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL                                            BELAJAR PEKERJAAN DASAR TEKNIK OTOMOTIFAbstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran pekerjaan dasar teknik otomotif, (2) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui metode pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran pekerjaan dasar teknik otomotif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas X TBSM SMK Diponegoro Depok sebanyak 1 kelas berjumlah 23 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode pembelajaran discovery learning meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik Otomotif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan: (1) Keaktifan belajar siswa siklus 1 dari hasil observasi sebesar 41,74%dengan kategori sedang mengalami peningkataan pada siklus 2 menjadi 68,69% dengan kategori tinggi, dan mengalami peningkatan kembali pada siklus 3 menjadi 79,13% dengan kategori tinggi; (2) Hasil belajar siswa pada nilai rata-rata tes kemampuan siswa sebesar 65,75; pada siklus 1 mengalami peningkatan menjadi 69,12 ;pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 73,82 dan pada siklus 3 meningkat kembali menjadi 78,52. Kata kunci: Metode Discovery Learning, Keaktifan, Hasil Belajar  APPLICATION OF DISCOVERY LEARNING METHODS TO IMPROVE LEARNING ACTIVITY AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN BASIC AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING LESSONS Abstract The objectives of this study were to: (1) improve student learning activeness through the discovrey learning model for basic automotive engineering work, (2) to improve learning outcomes through the discovey learning method for basic automotive engineering work. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 1 class TBSM students of SMK Diponegoro Depok with a total of 23 students. The data collection method used observation, test and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the discovery learning method increased the activeness and learning outcomes of students in the subject of basic automotive engineering work. This is evidenced by the increase in: (1) Student learning activeness in cycle 1 from the observation results of 41.74% with the moderate category of experiencing an increase in cycle 2 to 68.69% in the high category, and experiencing an increase again in cycle 3 to 79.13 % with high category; (2) Student learning outcomes at an average score of 65.75; in cycle 1 it increased to 69.12; in cycle 2 it increased to 73.82 and in cycle 3 increased again to 78.52. Keywords: Discovery Learning Method, Activeness, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the application of demonstration methods with visual media to increase learning activeness and learning outcomes of basic automotive technology. This study is a study using the literature study method or literature review. Data collection techniques are derived from the results of research that have been conducted and published in national and international online journals. Methods of data analysis used journal contents. The results of the preliminary study showed that learning activeness and learning outcomes of basic automotive technology were still low. Each student has differences in intellectual abilities, physical health, family backgrounds, learning habits and approaches. Efforts that can be used to overcome low activeness and learning outcomes are by using demonstration methods with the help of visual media. The application of the demonstration method encourages students' motivation to learn, enlivens learning activities, and relates theory to natural events in the environment. The application of demonstration learning methods helps students to know directly the objects used as teaching aids, making it easier for students to understand the material described by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the adequacy level of practicum facilities in the machinery laboratory (workshop) at the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program at SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta based on the standards required by PERMENDIKNAS RI No. 40 of 2008. This research is a descriptive study. Respondents in this study were the head of the department and 2 teachers of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program, and the infrastructure in the machining workshop, especially in terms of the machinery workshop building, machinery workshop furniture, machinery workshop equipment, machine workshop educational media, and other machinery workshop equipment. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The instrument uses a checklist used in the observation with the Rating Scale model rating scale. The results showed that the level of achievement in terms of machining workshop infrastructure was 80.88% (very feasible). The level of achievement in terms of machining workshop facilities is 85.52% (very feasible). The overall level of achi evement of machining workshop facilities is 82.14% (very feasible).

Abstract

The research aims to: to determine the adequacy of the facilities and infrastructure of the Motorcycle Engineering workshop at SMK Muhammadiyah Bangunjiwo according to the real conditions in the workshop. The type of research used is descriptive type. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument uses the Observation Instrument sheet. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The research subject used in this research is the Productive Teacher majoring in Engineering. Motorbikes and the research object used in this study were the Motorcycle Engineering workshop including the facilities and infrastructure in the Motorbike Engineering workshop at SMK Muhammadiyah Bangunjiwo. The results showed that the adequacy level of the motorbike business engineering workshop infrastructure, namely the practice space was categorized as insufficient. After reviewing the Permendiknas No. 40 of 2008, the adequacy level of practical facilities for the Motorcycle Business Engineering Workshop which includes the main equipment and supporting equipment is categorized as sufficient.

Abstract

The research objective descriptively was to determine the trend of PDO learning outcomes where the learning used the Student Team Achievement Divisions model and conventional models and to determine the differences in the PDO learning outcomes where the learning used the Student Team Achievement Divisions model and conventional models. This type of research is a quasi experiment. Methods of data collection using tests and documentation. The research instrument was a test. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, the hypothesis test used the t test which was preceded by the distribution normality and variance homogeneity tests. The results of the descriptive study show that the learning outcomes of the PDO which are taught using the Student Team Achievement Divisions model are classified as very high with a mean value of 19,000 and the conventional model is classified as high with a mean value of 14,412. Comparatively, there are differences in the learning outcomes of the PDO where learning uses the Student Team Achievement Divisions model and the conventional model with a value of thit = 3,926 and a value of p = 0,000 <0.05. By looking at the average automotive basic work learning outcomes using the Student Team Achievement Division 19,000 learning model and using the conventional learning model 14,412, the Student Team Achievement Division learning model has more influence on the learning outcomes of automotive basic work compared to conventional models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun Blogger Learning Mechanical Engineering sebagai media pembelajaransistem pendingin kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan Blogger LearningMechanical Engineering pada mata pelajaran sistem pendingin kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Jenispenelitian ini adalah research and development (penelitian dan pengembangan) dengan mengacu pada model 4D yaitudefine, design, develop, desseminate. Blogger Learning Mechanical Engineering divalidasi oleh para ahli media danahli materi yang selanjutnya di uji cobakan pada peserta didik kelas XI jurusan Teknik Kendaraan Ringan OtomotifSMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi angket. Kelayakan produk dinilaidengan empat kategori yaitu sangat layak/sangat baik, layak/baik, cuikup layak/cukup, dan tidak layak/kurang baik.Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan sebuah produk Blogger Learning Mechanical Engineering sebagai mediapembelajaran mata pelajaran sistem pendingin kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah Gamping. Hasil analisis menunjukanbahwa Blogger Learning Mechanical Engineering dikatakan ”Layak” terbukti dengan skor penilaian ahli mediadengan skor total 76,5% dengan kategori ”Sangat Layak”. Skor penilaian dari ahli materi dengan skor total 67%dengan kategori “Layak”. Skor penilaian Uji Coba dengan skor total 77,5% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dan dariketiga skor total tersebut dikalkulasikan menjadi skor total keseluruhan 74% dengan kategori “Layak” dari nilai 0-100%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian deskriptif  berikut ini adalah untuk mengetahui trend hasil pembelajaran PDO dengan menggunakan sub model student team performance dan model konvensional dalam pembelajaran, dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar PDO dengan menggunakan sub model student team performance dan model konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian adalah tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t, kemudian uji normalitas distribusi dan uji homogenitas varians. Hasil penelitian deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar PDO yang diajar dengan model Student Team Prestasi Divisi tergolong sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata 19.000, sedangkan model konvensional tergolong rata-rata tinggi dengan rata-rata 14.412. Sebaliknya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar PDO, pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dengan model parsial prestasi tim siswa dan model konvensional, dengan nilai thit = 3,926 dan p = 0,000 <0,05. Dengan menggunakan 19.000 model pembelajaran Jurusan Prestasi Beregu Mahasiswa dan 14.412 model pembelajaran konvensional untuk melihat rata-rata hasil belajar pekerjaan otomotif dasar, dibandingkan dengan model konvensional, model pembelajaran Jurusan Prestasi Beregu Mahasiswa memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap hasil belajar pekerjaan otomotif dasar.Kata Kunci: efektifitas model belajar, hasil . The purpose of descriptive research was to determine the trend of PDO learning outcomes using the student team performance sub-model and the conventional model in learning, and to find out the differences in PDO learning outcomes using the student team performance sub-model and the conventional model. On the other hand, there are differences in the learning outcomes of PDO, learning which is carried out with the partial model of student team achievement and the conventional model, with a value of thit = 3.926 and p = 0.000 <0.05. By using 19,000 learning models of the Student Team Achievement Department and 14,412 conventional learning models to see the average learning outcomes of basic automotive work, compared to conventional models, the learning model of the Student Team Achievement Department has a greater influence on learning outcomes of basic automotive work.Keywords: the effectiveness of the learning model, out come.
