Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the minimum mastery standard in automotive electrical systems repairing matter with subject applying Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model cooperative learning. This study used a classroom action research whitch was conducted in two cyles, each eycle consisted of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, dan reflection. The data were analyzed descriptively. The result proved that teaching learning process using STAD model cooperative learning increased the minimum mastery standard of students. Before applying STAD model cooperative learning, none passed the minimum mastery standard. After applying STAD model cooperative learning, there are advancement in term of the number of students passing the standard 48,48% in the first cycle and 87,88% in the second cycle. The average score reached 71,48 and 81,83 in the first and the second cycle. Therefore, this study concludes that STAD cooperative model increased the minimum mastery standard in automotive electrical systems repairing subject.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find: (1) implementation of project-based learning method in the advanced welding subject, (2) increased learning motivation by appling the project-based learning method, and (3) increased learning outcomes by appling the project-based learning method. This research uses classroom action research with three cycles, each cycle consists of four phases: planing, action, observe, and reflecting. Data were analyzed decriptively. The research results are as follows: (1) implementation of project-based learning method in the first cycle of 12.60 (65.00%) categorized as low, the second cycle of 15.92 (71.67%) categorized as high, and the third cycle of 16.77 (78.75%) categorized as very high, has increased by 3.32 (6.67%) from the first cycle to second cycle and by 0.85 (7.08%) from the second cycle to third cycle; (2) learning motivation in the first cycle of 12.60 categorized as high, the second cycle of 15.92 categorized as very high, and the third cycle of 16.77 categorized as very high, has increased by 3.32 from the first cycle to the second cycle and by 0.85 from the second cycle to third cycle; and (3) learning outcomes in the first cycle of 69.83 (B), the second cycle of 74.97 (B), and the third cycle of 84.85 (A-), has increased by 5.14 from the first cycle to the second cycle and by 9.88 of the second cycle to the third cycle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses, kelayakan, dan efektifitas modul pembuatan bodi kendaraan dari fiberglass yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan tes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar obervasi, angket, dan soal. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Proses pengembangan modul dengan model 4D meliputi empat tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate; (2) Uji kelayakan modul oleh ahli materi sebesar 86,01% dikategorikan sangat baik; oleh ahli media sebesar 79,69% dikategorikan sangat baik; oleh dosen pengampu sebesar 82,59% dikategorikan sangat baik; uji coba terbatas oleh 10 mahasiswa sebesar 81,07 dikategorikan sangat baik, dan uji coba luas oleh 30 mahasiswa sebesar 85,05 dikategorikan sangat baik; dan (3)  Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung lebih besar ttabel (2,577 > 1,671) pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya modul pembuatan bodi kendaraan dari fiberglass yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan dalam perkuliahan.  This research aims to determine the process, feasibility, and effectiveness of module manufacture of vehicle body from fiberglass developed. The type of research used is development research using 4D development model. Data collection using observation, questionnaires, and tests. The research instruments used were observation sheet, questionnaire, and test sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative, quantitative descriptive, and t-test inferential statistics. The results showed: (1) Module development process with 4D model includes four stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate; (2) Feasibility test of module by expert material equal to 86,01% is categorized very good; by a media expert of 79.69% is categorized excellent; by the lecturer 82.59% is categorized as excellent; small trial by 10 students of 81.07 is categorized excellent, and big trial by 30 students of 85.05 is categorized excellent; and (3) The result of ttest shows that tcount is bigger ttable (2,577> 1,671) at 5% significance level, so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means module manufacture of vehicle body of fiberglass developed effectively used in learning.

Abstract

In accordance with the mandate in the 1945 Constitution (amendment), every citizen has the right to education. This statement also applies to deaf people, where educational accessibility must be accommodated. The Soemeh application is here as an effort to provide educational accessibility for the deaf. This study aims to reveal the impact of using the Soemeh application on educational accessibility. This type of research uses a quantitative approach survey. The research population is the deaf disability community in Bandung, West Java. The sampling technique used a total quota of 20 respondents. Accessibility impact data was taken using a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The results of the study indicate that the Soemeh application has a very high impact on educational accessibility for deaf people with the following details: (1) acceptance in the environment gets an average score of 3.35 including the very high category; (2) the ease of communication gets an average score of 3.35 including the very high category; (3) respect for deaf individuals gets an average score of 3.4 including the very high category; (4) future expectations to develop and achieve goals to get an average score of 3.5, including the very high category; (5) the achievement of independence gets an average score of 3.4 including the very high category; and (6) eliminating barriers and discrimination to get a score of 3.25 including the high category

Abstract

The research aims to identify the learning needs of motorcycle service practice practices with the concept of teaching factory in the PVTM Study Program Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The subject of the study was the head of the PVTM laboratory. The object of the study was the need to learn motorcycle service practice. Data collection by observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed by means of quantitative descriptive. The results showed that: (1) Analysis of the learning needs of motorcycle service practice practices with the concept of teaching factory consists of three processes, namely preparation, learning, and evaluation; and (2) Overview of equipment owned by the PVTM Motorcycle Workshop Production Unit as many as 16 equipment (48.48%) are used classically, while 17 equipment (51.52%) are used in groups. From the equipment, there are 7 equipment (21.21%) categorized as very good, 7 equipment (21.21%) categorized as good, 4 equipment (2.12%) categorized as enough, 13 equipment (39.40%) categorized as less, and 2 equipment (6.06%) categorized as very less. Overall, a percentage of 80.30% is categorized as good.

Abstract

The research aims to find out; (1) The process of developing a media trainer kit charging system; (2) The feasibility of the developed media trainer kit charging system; and (3) The effectiveness of the developed media trainer kit charging system. This type of research is a research development using the 4-D model. The research subjects consisted of 20 students, while the object of research was the media trainer kit charging system. Data collection uses observation, questionnaires, and tests. Data were analyzed with descriptive (qualitative and quantitative) and inferential gain test statistics. The results showed that: (1) The process of developing a media trainer kit charging system with a 4-D includes 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate; (2) The feasibility test of the media trainer kit charging system by the material expert is 82.5% categorized very good; by the media expert is 81.67% categorized very good; by course lecturer is 72.5% categorized good; by limited trial is 81.25% categorized very good; and extensive trial is 84.62% categorized very good; and (3) The results of the effectiveness test showed that the media trainer kit charging system developed was effectively used in lectures.Keywords: media trainer kit, charging system, automotive electrical

Abstract

The research aims to increase the learning interest and learning outcomes of automotive basic work. This type of research is classroom action research with three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning; action, observation, reflection. The research subjects were students of class X TSM SMK Tunas Bangsa Wanareja with a total of 19 students. The object of research is the learning interest and learning outcomes of Automotive Basic Work. Data analysis techniques using quantitative analysis. The results showed that the application of the PjBL model could increase the learning interest and learning outcomes of Automotive Basic Work. Increased learning interest can be seen from the results of the first cycle of 55.53%, increased in the second cycle to 66.38% and increased again in the third cycle to 80.59%. Increased learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the first cycle of 52.63% increased in the second cycle to 68.42% and increased again in the third cycle to 89.47%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine:  1) The level of safety riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education; and 2) The level of eco riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education. The type of research used is descriptive. The research population was all students of Mechanical Engineering Education at The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. The sample was taken using the Stratified random sampling technique which found 199 students. The instrument used is a multiple choice test to measure the level of safety riding and the level of eco riding. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The result results showed that: 1) The level of safety riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education was categorized very hight with an average value of 24,78; and 2) 1) The level of eco riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education was categorized very hight with an average value of 6,85.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)  merupakan penelitian praktis yang bertujuan memperbaiki permasalahan pembelajaran dikelas dengan cara melakukan tindakan-tindakan untuk meningkatkan praktik pembelajaran di kelas menjadi lebih professional. Sosialisasi karya ilmiah  PTK ini bertujuan agar para guru memahami  tentang PTK dan mampu  membuat laporan PTK berkualitas secara berkesinambungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah dan tanya jawab yang dilaksanakan selama 1 hari kegiatan. Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru karena mampu memberikan informasi terbaru dalam penulisan karya tulis PTK. Hasil yang dicapai adalah mitra memiliki pengetahuan tentang PTK dan memiliki kemampuan untuk merancang PTK. Kata Kunci : Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Mutu Pembelajaran, Pemasalahan di Kelas.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development process and the feasibility of learning media for motorcycle chassis training kit at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro. The type of research used is R&D. The research subjects were 32 students of class X TBSM SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro. The data collection instruments used observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the evaluation criteria analysis to determine the feasibility of learning media. The results showed that: (1) The development process went through several stages, namely: (a) problem background; (b) problem identification; (c) development ideas; (d) pre-production stage (tools and materials); (e) production stage; (f) product development; (g) validation and revision; (h) feasibility test; and (i) wearable products; and; (2) Learning media for motorcycle chassis training kit are categorized as very suitable for use in learning with the results of validation of media experts by 90%, material experts by 95%, small group trial of 85.24%, and large group trial of 83.94%.
