Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran serta industri otomotif dalam pengembangan pendidikan kejuruan di SMK khususnya Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan dalam hal:  (1) program praktik industri; (2) komite sekolah; dan (3) pengembangan kurikulum.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian desktriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tempat penelitian adalah industri otomotif yang bergerak di bidang jasa perbaikan dan perawatan kendaraan ringan (mobil) dan merupakan bengkel resmi dari beberapa merk kendaraan yang ada di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah seseorang yang memiliki wewenang dalam menjalin kerja sama dengan pihak di luar perusahaan, dalam hal ini subjek penelitiannya adalah kepala bengkel atau manager sejumlah 7 orang. Teknik analisis data dengan deskriptif kualitatif  model interaktif dari Huberman.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) partisipasi industri dalam pelaksanaan program praktik industri sudah baik; (2) partisipasi industri otomotif dalam komite sekolah belum maksimal; (3) partisipasi industri otomotif dalam pengembangan kurikulum belum maksimal, karena baru ada satu indutri otomotif ikut dalam pengembangan kurikulum di SMK.

Abstract

The purpose of the study ( 1 ) to determine whether there is a correlation between  motivation of learning and knowledge KKPI with achievement learning of base profession in Islamic vocational school of Yogyakarta academic year 2013/2014, ( 2 ) to determine whether there is a correlation between motivation of learning and achievement in learning in Islamic vocational school of Yogyakarta academic year 2013/2014, ( 3 ) to determine whether there is a correlation between knowledge KKPI with achievement learning of base profession in Islamic vocational school of Yogyakarta academic year 2013/2014.This research was conducted in Islamic vocational school of Yogyakarta academic year 2013/2014. The population in this study were all students of class X TO which total 30 students and this study used a sampling saturated or study populations so that the entire population were sampled. This research is correlational and ex post facto categorized. With the questionnaire data collection techniques, and documentation about the test. The validity of the items were obtained from the product moment correlation. About the reliability obtained with the formula stated alpha and reliable. Before the data were analyzed first tested the prerequisite analysis is normality test, test and test intercorrelations linearity. Analysis using multiple regression analysis and partial correlation.Based on the analysis of the results obtained the following results. ( 1 ) there is a positive and significant correlation between motivation to learn ( X1 ) and knowledge KKPI ( X2 ) together with achievement learning of base profession ( Y ) ; ( 2 ) there is a positive and significant correlation between motivation to learn ( X1 ) with basic vocational learning achievement ( Y ) ; ( 3 ) there is a positive and significant correlation between knowledge KKPI ( X2 ) with achievement learning of base profession ( Y ).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) hubungan bimbingan karir dengan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran kejuruan; (2) hubungan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran kejuruan; dan (3) hubungan bimbingan karir dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran kejuruan pada siswa kelas XII Program Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Al Munawwarah Kesugian Cilacap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:(1) hasil uji korelasi Product Moment antara variabel X1  dengan Y diperoleh harga sebesar  0,495,  artinya  ada  hubungan  yang  positif  dan  signifikan  antara bimbingan karir dengan prestasi belajar; (2) Hasil uji korelasi Product Moment antara variabel X2 dengan Y diperoleh harga rx 2 y variabel 0,550, artinya ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar; (3) Hasil uji korelasi ganda antara variabel X1, X2 dengan Y diperoleh harga rx1x 2 y sebesar 0,505. Nilai rxy yang diperoleh di atas nilai rxy tabel dengan nilai propabilitas  di bawah taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian (Ha) diterima yang artinya ada hubungan yang positif antara bimbingan karir dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor bimbingan karir dan motivasi belajar sangat mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

 Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) korelasi motivasi belajar kejuruan dengan minat berwirausaha; (2) korelasi prestasi belajar kelompok mata palajaran produktif dengan minat berwirausaha; dan (3) korelasi motivasi belajar kejuruan dan prestasi belajar kelompok mata pelajaran produktif dengan minat berwirausaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji korelasi parsial antara motivasi belajar kejuruan (X1) dengan minat berwirausaha (Y) dengan mengendalikan X2, sedangkan uji korelasi parsial antara prestasi belajar kelompok mata pelajaran produktif (X2) dengan minat berwirausaha (Y) dengan mengendalikan X1, koefisien determinan (R2) antara X1, X2 dengan Y sebesar 0,311, hal ini menunjukan besarnya hubungan antara motivasi belajar kejuruan (X1) dan prestasi belajar kelompok mata pelajaran produktif (X2) dengan minat berwirausaha (Y) adalah sebesar 31,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar kejuruan dan prestasi belajar kelompok mata pelajaran produktif memiliki peran dalam menentukan minat berwirausaha siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the readiness of the competency-tests in course and training institutes for automotive programs in Yogyakarta in terms of (1) the institutes’ support, (2) the readiness of the infrastructure and facilities, (3) readiness of the curriculum documents, (4) the learning of plann, (5) the implementation of learn, (6) the learning assessment, and (7) the achievement of the competency-tests. This study was an evaluation study using quantitative approach. The evaluation model was the CIPP (context, input, process, product) by Stufflebeam. The study population consisted of institutes managers, instructures and students at the two course and training institute for automotive programs in Yogyakarta registered and having Nomor Induk Lembaga Kursus (NILEK). The data were analyzed using the descriptive statistic analysis techniques with the SPSS 17 program. The results of the study show that (1) the institutes’ support is in a middle category, (2) the readiness of the infrastructure and facilities is in high category, (3) readiness of the curriculum documents is in a high category; (4) the learning of planis in a high category, (5) the implementation of learn is in a high category, (6) the learning assessment is in a high category, and (7) the achievement of the competency-test is in a middle category.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap minat berwiraswasta, (2) hubungan prestasi belajar otomotif terhadap minat berwiraswasta, (3) hubungan status sosial ekonomi orang tua dan prestasi belajar otomotif terhadap minat berwiraswasta siswa kelas XII Jurusan Otomotif SMK Muhammadiyah Bambanglipuro Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian expost facto. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi ganda dan uji korelasi parsial yang didahului uji persyaratan analisis, yaitu uji normalitas dan linieritas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji korelasi Product Moment antara variabel X1 dengan Y diperoleh harga rx1y sebesar 0,222 dengan nilai signifikansi = 0,026, korelasi antara variabel X2 dengan Y diperoleh harga rx2y variabel 0,234 dengan nilai signifikansi = 0,019, dan hasil uji korelasi ganda antara variabel X1, X2 dengan Y diperoleh harga rx1x2y sebesar 0,863 dengan nilai signifikansi = 0,000. Nilai rxy yang diperoleh di atas nilai rxy tabel dengan nilai propabilitas di bawah taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian (Ho) ditolak dan (Ha) diterima yang artinya ada hubungan yang positif antara status sosial ekonomi orang tua dan prestasi belajar dengan minat berwiraswasta.

Abstract

 The objective of this study is to improve students’ activitity and achievement of kopling system service by using demonstration method with animation media in SMK Muhammadiyah Cangringan in the academic year 2013/2014. Type of this tudy was action research. The subject of this study was the tweleve grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah Cangkringan consisted of 24 students. To analyze the data, the researcher analyzsed the percesnatge of students’ activities and tests. This study shows that there was improvement of studenets’ activities by using demonstration method with animation media. It can be been from the result of tests of each cycle. The average score of test I was 63,13 and the students who were completed the study wer2 33,3%, while the average activities was 64,12%. The average score of tests II was 72,12 and the students who were completed the study were 66,6%, while the average activity was 79,94%. The average score of test II was 79,79 and the students who were completed the study were 87,5%, while the average activity was 90,84%.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to know the improvement of the activity and achievement study of measuring instrument subject for tenth grade TKR 4th Students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Imogiri in Academic Year 2014/2015. The hypothesis of this research is the model of cooperative learning type NHT to be able to improve the activity and achievement study of measuring instrument subject for tenth grade TKR 4th students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Imogiri in Academic Year 2014/2015. The type of this research is a classroom action research which done by cooperative learning. The subject of this research is the tenth grade TKR 4th students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Imogiri which consists of 35 students. The object of this research is students’ activity and achievement study which got from the implementation model of cooperative learning type NHT. This research is conducted 3 cycle by using technique of collecting the data which conducted through test, observation, and documentation. Technical data analyst for observation sheet and achievement test data analyzed quantitative description with statistical formula. results of using the type Cooperative Learning Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) had showed an improvement in learning achievement and activity of the tenth grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 TKR 4 Imogiri on Subjects of each cycle the measuring instrument. It is evidenced by an improvement in the average yield observation sheet activeness percentage of students in the first cycle of 44.14%  and an improvement  in the second cycle of 17.43% to 61.57% and in the third cycle improved by 21.29% to 82.86%. otherwise it is based on achievement test on the first cycle the average value obtained pre-test 60.71 and the average value of post test 69.57 so that student achievement increased by 8.86 and the second cycle of the average values obtained pre test 62.28 and the average value of post test 75.42 increased learning achievement tests of 13.14 and in the third cycle the average value of pre-test 65.14 and the average value of post test 83.42. So that student achievement increased by 18.28. It can be concluded that the model of cooperative learning can enhance the activity and students’ achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this research to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes conventional ignition system by applying the learning model of Group Investigation (GI). The hypothesis in this research is application of Group Investigation (GI) learning model’s can increase the activity and learning outcomes conventional ignition system. The research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted collaboratively between teachers and researches. The subjects in this study is 20 students from class TKR of SMK, while the object of this research is the application of Group Investigation learning model’s (GI) to increase the activity and student learning outcomes in conventional ignition system subjects. The experiment was conducted with three (3) cycles. Data collection techniques using observation, testing and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative description of the statistical formula. Results of this research by applying the Group Investigation learning model’s (GI) showed the presence of increasing activity and learning outcomes conventional ignition system in every cycle. This is indicated by: 1. The increase of learning outcomes was showed by percentage of learning activity more than (≥) enough, before action only 25% increased by 22,4% into 47,4% after doing first cycles. When doing second cycles increased by 10,5% into 63,2% and third cycles increased by 10,5% into 73,7%. 2. Another increase was showed by learning outcomes of students who passed, from learning outcomes before action only 40% and after doing first cycles increased by 12,6% to 52,6%. Then second cycles increased by 8,5% into 61,1% and third cycles increased by 17,8% into 78,9%. From the above data it can be conclude by applying the learning model of Group Investigation (GI) on the subjects of conventional ignition system  can increase the activity and learning outcomes, in line with the hypotesis of this action research
