Abstract

The concept of ecotourism is one of the alternatives for the development of Wonosadi Forest. Ecotourism focuses on three main things: natural or ecological sustainability, economic benefits, and psychologically acceptable in social life. This study aims to determine the extent to which the concept of community-based ecotourism can be used as an alternative development of Wonosadi forest. Through the development of ecotourism, the forest wonosadi is expected to be able to: 1) build environmental and cultural awareness around the forest area wonosadi 2) reduce the negative impact of damage or environmental pollution, in this case, wonosadi forest and local culture due to ecotourism activities, 3) directly to conservation through contributions from tourist visits, 4) develop a community economy and empower local communities by creating alternative tourism products that prioritize local values and uniqueness. This study used a qualitative approach using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) method and in-depth interview, secondary data study, and literature study. The results of the analysis show that: 1) ecotourism can create business opportunities, 2) ecotourism can increase employment and 3) ecotourism can increase income while increasing equality of local income.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menghasilkan model pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan  dengan prinsip “The Great Young Entrepreneur” di SMK untuk kurikulum 2013; (2) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan di SMK untuk kurikulum 2013 yang dapat menumbuhkan mental dan motivasi peserta didik untuk berwirausaha; (3) mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan model pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan dengan prinsip The Great Young Entrepeneur yang telah dikembangkan; dan (4) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan model pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan dengan prinsip The Great Young Entrepreneur yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Model pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan dengan prinsip The Great Young Entrepreneur dapat digunakan dengan baik.(2) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dihasilkan yaitu: buku panduan model dan materi ajar. (3) Model pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan dengan prinsip TGYE dan perangkat pembelajaran berdasarkan hasil ujicoba memenuhi kriteria praktis.(4) Model pembelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan dengan prinsip TGYE dan perangkat pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria efektif. DEVELOPING A CRAFT AND ENTREPRENEURIAL LEARNING MODEL WITH THE PRINCIPLE OF “THE GREAT YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR” AT SMK FOR CURRICULUM 2013 Abstract The purposes of this study were (1) to produce a craft and entrepreneurship learning model with the principle of "The Great Young Entrepreneur" at SMK's for curriculum in 2013; (2) produce craft and entrepreneurial learning tools at SMK for curriculum 2013 that can grow mental and motivation of learners to be an entrepreneur; (3) determine the level of practicality of the learning model with the principle of “The Great Young Entrepreneur which was developed; and (4) determine the level of effectiveness of the learning model with the principle of the great young entrepreneur which was developed. The results of the study are as follows (1) Craft and entrepreneurial learning model with the principle “The Great Young Entrepreneur” can be used (starting from the beginning of the formatiom of groups up to business assistance through “The Great Young Entrepreneur” Community). (2) learning device resulting from the development of craft and entrepreneurial learning model with “The Great Young Entrepreneur” principle is guide book model and teaching materials. (3) craft and entrepreneurial learning model with “The Great Young Entreprenuer” principle and learning device based on the results meet the practicality criteria. (4) craft and entrepreneurial learning model with “The Great Young Entrepeneur” principle and learning device based on the results meet the criteria of effectiveness.

Abstract

The university has the responsibility of implementing Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, one of which is community service. Higher education continues to look for opportunities to collaborate with other institutions. This collaboration can be with industry, the business sector, and the MSME (Small & Medium Enterprises) sector. Higher education can collaborate with local banks, umkm in developing creative industries. SMEs have a variety of creative business ideas, human resources and several other resources, but often have some weaknesses. These weaknesses can be in the form of financial weaknesses, and weaknesses in organizational management. Local banks can take a role in providing loan services to the micro sector and provide education about good financial management. Likewise, universities can take the role of sending the best people to provide education and organizational management assistance. The method of cooperation of the three parties is expected to provide benefits and strengthen the parties that cooperate with each other. Another expected benefit is the continued impact of good creative industry sector assistance in the form of regional economic revolving supported by the creative industry sector. This research provides information to the public about the framework of cooperation between universities, local banks and MSMEs.

Abstract

Tourism is one sector that affects economic growth. High economic growth is expected to provide a trickle-down effect on the development process in an area through the expansion of job opportunities, increasing the income level of the community so that it can ultimately reduce the poverty level. This research uses Mixed Method Research. The reason the researcher chooses this method is because using quantitative and qualitative approaches simultaneously (combined) can provide a better understanding of the research problem than being used separately. The results showed that tourist visits and the number of restaurants partially had no significant effect on the economic growth of Gunung Kidul Regency. This is influenced by the time series data used are still in the short term, the number of tourist objects partially has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Gunung Kidul Regency.
