Abstract

The development of lifestyle and technology has caused changes in people's lifestyles in general, which is marked by more and more people using the internet to access social media, surf or browse, and contact relatives or friends. Currently, social media is a tool or media that is very effective in supporting the process of communication between people, such as between one person, between influencers, between celebrities and their followers and netizens as a whole. One of the influencers on social media is in the field of beauty or beauty influencers. The most sought-after review in the field of decorative makeup beauty by the public is lip cosmetics. Cosmetics for lips have many types such as, lip sticks, lip creams, lip balms, lip gloss and lip tints. The lightest lip cosmetics that have a natural result are lip tints. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the influence of beauty influencers on Instagram on purchasing decisions on Secondate Beauty brand milky gel lip tint products. This is a beauty influencer review on Instagram of UNJ Cosmetology students affecting the purchase decision of the Secondate Beauty brand milky gel lip tint product.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a benchmark for the success of a learning activity. Good learning outcomes can make it easier for students to develop their potential in a certain field. Interest in becoming a makeup artist is a concentration of attention that contains elements of attention, pleasure, heart tendencies, and an unintentional desire that is active in accepting from the environment to become a makeup artist. This study aims to determine the relationship between daily makeup learning outcomes and interest in becoming a makeup artist. This research was conducted on class X students majoring in skin and hair beauty at SMKN 7 South Tangerang City, academic year 2023/2024. The research method used is quantitative associative with a correlational approach. The population in this study is all 77 students of class X with a sampling technique, namely total sampling. The instrument used to obtain interest data was measured using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Learning outcomes use secondary data, namely grades from daily make-up subjects obtained by students in odd semesters. The data analysis method uses Spearman correlation. Data analysis was assisted through SPSS software version 29. The research results obtained a significant value of 0.06 > 0.05, which means that learning outcomes do not have a significant relationship with interest in becoming a makeup artist..

Abstract

This study aims to develop a hair mask hair care E-Module as a systematic and interactive learning media for students of the Cosmetology Education Study Program. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity test conducted by material and media experts showed significant improvement in the aspects of systematics, function, and product design. This E-Module provides comprehensive information on hair care techniques and can be accessed through mobile devices and computers, thus increasing students' motivation to learn. The total score obtained from the material expert validity test was 75% and the score from the media expert was 95% so that it could be categorized as a “Feasible” product. Thus, this research can be a reference in curriculum development and learning methods in the Cosmetology Education Study Program.

Abstract

The development of science and technology (IPTEK) impacts the learning process by providing various sources and learning media, such as textbooks, modules, films, videos, animations, slide shows, and websites. An example of digital literacy implementation in learning is the development of websites as educational media, which falls under the category of e-learning for online learning. This research aims to: (1) produce E-Module learning media for Corrective Eye Makeup material, (2) assess the feasibility of the E-Module, and (3) evaluate the practicality of the E-Module. This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Tangerang Selatan in the Beauty Program, using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The result of this research is an E-Module in the form of an LMS (Learning Management System) with Corrective Eye Makeup material. The feasibility of the E-Module was evaluated by subject matter experts with a score of 80% and media experts with a score of 81%, both categorized as "Feasible." The practicality test by students resulted in a score of 82.6, categorized as "Practical." Therefore, the developed E-Module is considered practical and feasible to support the learning process.

Abstract

Currently, the growth of the cosmetics industry in Indonesia is increasing quite rapidly, one of the companies in the cosmetics industry that can survive and compete in the market is Barenbliss by using one of the promotional media, namely the use of brand ambassadors. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an influence between the use of brand ambassador promotional media on the decision to purchase Barenbliss lip products. This research is of a quantitative type, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire and sample determination using the nonprobability sampling method, namely the respondents are students of the Cosmetology Study Program, State University of Jakarta batch 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 who have purchased Barenbliss lip products. The results of the study showed that the results of the simple linear regression test were known to be Fcal of 0.590 with a significance value of 0.00. Therefore, the variable of brand ambassador promotion media (X) can be said to have a significant influence on the variable of the purchase decision of Barenbliss (Y) lip product. And also the result of the determination coefficient of 0.414 which means that the influence of the brand ambassador promotion media variable on the Barenbliss lip product purchase decision variable is 41.4%.

Abstract

The research made with purpose to get the data of interest in learning and get the data about the result study hair styling also to know there or not the positive relation Between interest in learning and hair styling learning outcomes among students at SMP 138 Open Cakung 3 Jakarta. This research use approach correlasional. The population of this study were all life skills students at SMP 138 Open Cakung 3 Jakarta. Taking sample method in this research is purposive sampling. The sample criteria in this study were students who were taking life skills hair styling lessons at SMP 138 Open Cakung 3 Jakarta. So, the sample in this study was 32 class VIII students who took life skill. The data analysis technique used is associative quantitative techniques, analysis requirements tests, data normality tests, linearity tests. The result of this research swown that there are positive relation and significant between interest in learning and hair styling learning outcomes for students at SMP 138 Open Cakung 3 Jakarta. The majority of learning outcomes for students are in the medium category, namely 65.6%. And according to the research results, it shows that the majority of students' interest in learning is in the medium category at 78.1%. There fore, the higher the interest in learning, the higher the hair styling learning outcomes achieved by students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Module as learning media for nail art for grade X and grade XI of SMA Plus PGRI Cibinong in “Student Day” learning activity. The background of this study is the limitations of the previously-existing learning media that were less interactive and did not support independent learning. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Product validation was carried out through a feasibility test by material experts and media experts. The results of the validation of material experts in stage 1 were 89.01% and stage 2 were 93.33%. The results of the validation of media experts in stage 1 were 89.33% and stage 2 were 96%. Then, the researcher also conducted practicality test for the chosen students as the representatives of grade X and grade XI as many as 37 students out of 55 students in total that was carried out in two stages, namely a small group test (10 students) with a result of 92.7% and a field test (27 students) with a result of 97.2%. The results of the study indicate that this E-Module has been valid, feasible and practical to use as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between hair care knowledge and hair care behavior in cosmetology education students of Jakarta State University. The population of this study was cosmetology students of Jakarta State University class of 2020-2023 as many as 183 students with a sample technique taken, namely purposive sampling from the population to 97 samples of veiled students. The results show that students have knowledge of hair care knowledge with a mean value of 4.46 and a mean value of hair care behavior with a veil of 52.61. In the linearity test analysis results showed a significant linear relationship between knowledge and behavior (p = 0.050). In the partial test (t-test) the result obtained is a significance value of 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that 0.000 <0.050 which indicates that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the independent variable (X) has a significant relationship with the dependent variable (Y). Through the coefficient of determination test, a value of 0.134 is obtained, which means that the relationship between variable X (hair care knowledge) and variable Y (hair care behavior on the headscarf of Jakarta State University Cosmetology students) only contributes 13.4%. While the remaining 86.6% is another factor not examined in this study. This study provides important implications regarding the need for more intensive hair care education for female students wearing hijab in order to support their hair health.

Abstract

This research was created with the aim of obtaining data on the credibility of Beauty Vlogger Miss Jakarta. This research uses quantitative correlational methods. The population of this study were all undergraduate students of Cosmetology class 2021-2022, Jakarta State University. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The sample criteria in this study were undergraduate students in Cosmetology class 2021-2022 who knew Beauty Vlogger Miss X, were subscribers or followers of YouTube Miss X, and used YouTube Miss So, the sample in this research is the 2021-2022 undergraduate students of Jakarta State University, namely 53. The data analysis techniques used are associative quantitative techniques, analysis requirements tests, data normality tests, linearity tests. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the credibility of YouTube Beauty Vlogger Miss The majority of interest in learning facial make-up is in the high category, namely 56.6%. And according to the research results, it shows that the majority of Beauty Vlogger Miss X's credibility is in the low category, namely 58.2%.
