Abstract

Abstrak: Kualitas tanah adalah kapasitas tanah yang berfungsi mempertahankan produktivitas tanaman, mempertahankan dan menjaga ketersediaan air serta mendukung kegiatan manusia. Kualitas tanah yang baik akan mendukung kerja  fungsi tanah sebagai media pertumbuhan tanaman, mengatur dan membagi aliran air dan menyangga lingkungan yang baik pula. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui indeks kualitas tanah Andisol pada berbagai penggunaan lahan di Desa Sumber brantas kota Batu. Indikator kualitas tanah adalah sifat, karakteristik atau proses fisika, kimia dan biologi tanah yang dapat menggambarkan kondisi tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sumberbrantas Kota Batu dengan order tanah Andisol  pada penggunaan lahan  monokultur dan tumpang sari. Indeks kualitas tanah dihitung dengan menggunakan kriteria Mausbach dan Seybold (1998), yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kondisi lapangan  menggunakan analisis Minimum  Data Set (MDS). Berdasarkah hasil penelitian didapatkan Indeks Kualitas Tanah (IKT) lahan monokultur sebesar 0,42 termasuk kriteria sedang, lahan tumpangsari Indeks Kualitas Tanah sebesar 0,38 termasuk kriteria rendah. Nilai indeks kualitas tanah berkisar antara 0-1, semakin nilai indeks mendekati 1 menunjukkan kualitas semakin baik. Tanah yang berkualitas baik akan menjamin keberlanjutan fungsi tanah, baik fungsi produksi maupun fungsi ekologi. Penentuan Indeks Kualitas tanah suatu lahan akan berguna untuk penyusunan arah pengelolaan lahan yang berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: indeks kualitas, tanah Andisol, penggunaan lahan

Abstract

Secara umum pendidikan selain berperan dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan pikiran dan memberikan pengetahuan, juga berperan dalam sosialisasi, yaitu membantu perkembangan individu menjadi makhluk sosial, di dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, serta sebagai transformasi pembaharuan, bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi baru seperti rekayasa biologi untuk diabdikan bagi perbaikan kehidupan masyarakat. Untuk mewujudkan hal itu dalam masyarakat pedesaan, perlu ditunjang dengan beberapa komponen, berupa lembaga-lembaga yang ada di masyarakat desa, seperti, LKMD, PKK, dan Karang Taruna, serta SDM pendukungnya seperti Penyuluh Pertanian, Guru, Pamong Desa, dan masyarakat desa sendiri.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the influence of the Snowball Throwing learning model toward the learning interest of student of State Senior High School of 1 Tumpang in the subject of geography. This research is a quasy experiment with pretest-posttest only control group design in the form of student interest in the subject of geography and snowball throwing learning model. The sample of this research was taken from class of XI IIS 1 as the controlled class of 26 students and the class of XI IIS 2 as the experimental class of the 27 students. The instrument of this research a questionnaire of geographic learning interest that is consisting of a questionnaire of pre test and post test. Based on result of the research that was any different interest between the experiment class which using a snowball throwing learning model and control class which using lecture and debriefing with sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, so H0 is defused and H1 is accepted which mean that any difference of geographical learning interest control class and experiment class. The average score of gain score on experiment class is higher than the control class, namely 16,59 > 3,08, it indicates there is effect of snowball throwing learning model to the geographical learning interest of student XI IIS at State Senior High School of 1 Tumpang.Key Word: Snowball Throwing, Learning Interest.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the physical and chemical properties of Ordo Vertisol soil in agriculture land used (paddy fields, dry fields, and farms). This research uses survey method that is implemented in the field and laboratory. Samples were obtained by overlaying two maps using Arc-GIS 10.1 software to produce the Land Unit Map, then the sample was taken by using purposive sampling method which consider the land was planted and has decreased of harvested area, or in productivity or the amount of crop production. Descriptive analysis is used to explain the results of the research and the discussion. The results showed that each land unit has high value of COLE and has properties that are supportive and unsupportive for the cultivation of plants, but each land unit has its differences. Land Unit 1A has the highest/fastest permeability because management is done more intensively, by constantly adding organic matter content that makes the soil density low. Land Unit 1B has higher organic matter because when taking the sample, there is still a part of crop residues and grasses on the surface than any other land units. The land management and irrigation also affect the content of organic matter in terms of its preservation. The lowest CEC contained in Land Unit 2 is caused by the content of the clay fraction is lower than other land units. Low organic matter content in Land Unit 2 also affect the low value of CEC, and the density becomes higher. The permeability in Land Unit 2 is also slower because of no management activities in this land. Land  Unit 3A has the lowest pH due to the given of ZA which produces Acid Sulphur on the land. Land Unit 3B have the highest CEC values for the content of the clay fraction is higher and the Montmorillonite mineral on this land has a per- manent charge. Organic materials in Land Unit 3B is also the lowest since the land is left empty before planted with soybeans.Keywords: ordo vertisol soil, land usage, land units
