Abstract

Developing media based learning using interactive multimedia applications macromedia director. The purpose of this development is to generate media-based interactive multimedia civics learning that can improve student learning outcomes and fit for use during the learning process Civics. The model of development adopted development model Lee & Owen. Broadly speaking, this development model consists of 5 phases: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation. product testing conducted on eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. Based on the validation results of both material and media, the overall form of media learning products can be categorized as good, and fit for use as a medium of learning civics. Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of character education in SDIT Nurul Ilmi of Jambi include: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings of the study are: Character education planning is done by integrating the main character and values matched with the standards of com-petence and basic competence, suitability with the material. Hence, it is translated into a learning device. Character values developed or implemented through habit and exemplary school culture and the implementation of character education in learning is divided into three sections, firstly it is integrated into the subjects, Second in local content, and the third, through the self-development of habit, exemplary, and extracurricular. Character education in extracurricular activities carried out by entering the value of the main characters in each activity option. The Barriers of implementation charactered are, students character, families, and communities. Facilities and supporting facilities play an important role in the integration of the character value. Character education evaluation process carried out during the learning process and when students interact outside the classroom. The research is included (1) a well planned character education is learning device. It is supported by religious and other characters, (2) the implementation of character education in learning is integrated into every subject, local content, and habituation in school; educational character in extracurricular containing noble values; implementation barriers such as student characteristics, family environment and society; carrying adequate infrastructure and facilities, (3) evaluation process conducted continuous character education. Abstract

Development of audio-visual media meditation training specifically designed for the needs meditation. This medium contains stages in meditation so easily understood and followed by meditation trainees. The development of audio-visual media conducted by researchers carried out by adapting the model of ( Research and Development / R & D ). The method consists of 10 ( ten ) steps , namely ( 1 ) the potential and problems , ( 2 ) collection of data , ( 3 ) product design , ( 4 ) validation of the design , ( 5 ) revision of the design , ( 6 ) test products , ( 7 ) revision of the product , ( 8 ) utility testing , ( 9 ) the revision of the product , ( 10 ) mass production, but for mass production, the researchers do not do this in accordance with the restrictions on the problem. Abstract

The research was aimed to evaluate the implementation of inclusive education in SD Negeri 131/IV Kota Jambi using CIPP (context, input, process, and product) models. This research is a qualitative study with case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentary study. Data analysis was conducted in three phases: the first phase was preliminary analysis, the second phase was done while collecting data at the site, and the third one was done after completing the data collection. The data analysis was conducted through developing categories, data reduction, data presentation, making conclusions, and verification. The study concludes that the implementation of inclusive education in Elementary School of 131/IV Jambi City generally classified as good criteria where there are 68.35 % of sub-indicators of inclusive education’s implementation at school that appropriate with the standards. Inclusive education at school provides benefits, but there are some parts of supporting programs that have not been accordance with the standards. Therefore, the researcher recommends that the program can be continued, with the term revisions must be made through an adjustment and improvement of some components that have not been appropriate to these provisions to get a better quality of the program. Furthermore, for others that would like to conduct similar studies in different settings should be able to avoid what the limitations of this study, namely by narrow the focus of research and using mix-method research. Abstract

Reasoning of this research is still the low of education value of Islam, the low of enthusiasm and willingness to learn religion, the low of awareness practices religious service, the low of ability in choosing study media applied. Media audiovisual can assist optimal of ability of each student, builds student enthusiasm in learning, has skillful character, self-supporting and sensitive. This research aim to (1) knows usage influence of media audiovisual and print media to result of practice of student religious service, (2) knows motivation to result of practice of student religious service, and (3) knows interaction of motivation to result of practice of student religious service applies media audiovisual. This research type is quasi esperimen with factorial design 2x2. In process of this experiment done observation at two group of study that is group of experiment given treatment with media audiovisual, and group of control with print media. This research subject is class student VII even semester which amounts to 48 mans, what consisted of class VII A 24 as control class and class VII B 24 as experiment class. Instrument applied in this research is instrument of motivation and instrument practice of religious service. instrument of Motivation is made in the form of scale enquette likert. instrument validity of Item practice of religious service and motivation enquette item of religious service applies technique formula product moment. To test hypothesis applied factorial of 2 x 2 Anova two lines and test Tukey. From result of inferential research that: (1) There is usage influence of media audiovisual to result of practice of student religious service. (2) there is no Pengaruh motivation to result of practice of student religious service. (3) there is no usage influence of media audiovisual to result of practice of student religious service having high motivation. (4) there is no usage influence of media audiovisual to result of practice of student religious service having low motivation. (5) there are no interaction between visual audio medias with motivation to practice of religious service in education teaching of Islam. Abstract

This study aims to develop a sociology of media visual learming modules that can facilitate learning students in sociology courses. The use of sociology of learning modules developed have special guality compared with not using a module, so as to facilitate student learning sociology courses. Researeh is the development of Dick and Carey model as for the procedures in the development of this research are as follows: analysis of the potential and problems, data collection, productdesign, product validation, 2 (two) experts are skilled instructional design and materials expert, and then implement the revised of the design has been validated, tested on a limited group, has revised the product, conduct field trials, and then revise the product back, and the final stage is a product of module development sociology. The results showed that the overall learning modules developed having good criterion with an average of 3.88 based upon the response and course student learning outcomes of public health sciences major goals in learning.The results can be concluded that the learning module that was developed a learning module using visual media for teaching sociology is easy to use as a learning module on the subject of sociology studies of public health sciences programmed STIKES Harapan Ibu Jambi. As for the suggestions from the results of data analysis in this development was before the development of learning modules mediated visual sociology, should show the problems that have public health science study programs so that the resulting product can be optimally used and for further development, preferably in added the material development of learning modules using visual media.

Abstract

Develop teaching materials based PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective and Fun Learning) Buddhist education. The purpose of this development is to produce teaching materials based PAIKEM Buddhist education can improve student learning outcomes and fit for use for educational learning Buddhism. The model of development adopted development model by Dick & Carey. Broadly speaking, this development model consists of 9 phases: 1) Identify Instructional Goals, 2) Conduct Instructional Analysis, 3) Identify Entry Behaviors and Learner Characteristics, 4) Write Performance Objectives, 5) Develop Criterion-Referenced Test Items, 6) Develop Instructional Strategy, 7) Develop and Select Instructional Materials, 8) Develop and Conduct Formative Evaluation, 9) Develop and Conduct Summative Evaluation. Product testing conducted on fourth grade students at Citra Nusantara Elementary School, Jambi. Based on the validation results of teaching materials, the overall form teaching materials can be categorized as good and fit for use in Buddhist education
