Abstract

This article discusses public finance, one of studies in Islamic economics, in history perspective from prior of Prophetic to Khalifaurasyidin. That time is supposed as operated Islamic State (Daulah Islamiyyah) efectively . From history noticed that zakat, ghanimah, fai, jizyah, kharaj, ‘ushur, dharimah and waqf as wel as shadakah are nation of Islamic income. Before distributing to ummat, all of them organized by baitul maal. Nation of Islamic expenditures are spending to develop public facilities or to reduce proverty, war, education, propagantion (dakwah) and development of religion in society. Conclution of this discusses that the characteristic of nation of Islamic expenditure is not only to reach society peaceful on material aspect but also to develop society based on spritual.

Abstract

Over the past few years the study of Islamic economics are commonly carried out in line with the growth of Islamic financial institution. This study has encouraged the growth of Islamic economics literature with a variety of themes. This paper aims to describe the portrait of Islamic economics study in the Islamic College (PTAI) from the standpoint of academic works produced by graduates. There were 194 abstracts at the State Islamic Institute (STAIN) Bukittinggi, precisely in the Department of Islamic Economics analyzed using content analysis. The result of this study showed that Islamic economics was studied with various themes. Islamic financial institutions and financial products with a murabaha contract was at the top rank as the research theme. The findings of those studies encourage and strengthen the previous research, in addition to contributing toward the literature improvement. This study did not mean to say that the study of Islamic economics, particularly Islamic banking from academic research point of view has been drained, but it is expected that in the future the Islamic economics studies are more likely to be observed with a new approach, so that islamic economic studies is much more attractive.

Abstract

Purpose:. The objective of the research are; 1) identifying the aspect of cooperative in the Padang Panjang in order to developthe syariah cooperative 2) identifying the external factor (opportunity and treat) and internal factor (strength and weakness) in developing the Syariah Cooperative in Padang Panjang 3) arrange theprecisealternative strategy in developingSyariah cooperative in Padang Panjang.Design/Method/Approach : The method of primer and secondary data collection were library studies, field observation, questionnaire, and interview. Technique and the tabulation of the data used descriptive analysis, both normatively (according to Syariah rules and state rules), qualitative (describe the profile, explain the EFE, IFE, IE, TOWS, QSPM matrixes) and quantitative (doing the tabulation of calculation on the weighting calculation on EFE, IFE, and IE).Findings:  After grouping of strategy by using the I-E matrix, the result of Syariah cooperative developmenton Padang Panjang is gotten which is on the position of Growth strategy, the strategy which is arranged to reach thecondition of capital asset growing, assets, and distribution of cooperative financing. From the matrixes of TOWS and QSP are gotten strategy which are suggested; open the business unit, office to every cooperative, increasing the services quality, supervision and optimize theknowledge enrichment to all of members and management in the Syariah cooperative field.Originality/Values: Syariah cooperative has important roles in increasing the society welfare. However the number and existence of syariah cooperative is still limited.The strategy which will be used to develop the syariah cooperative is necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of Islamic Human Capital and career development on the performance of Islamic Bank employees in Pasaman district. This research was a causality research with a quantitative approach based on statistical data and empirical data at the research location. The population in this study were employees of Islamic Banks in Pasaman district. Sampling was carried out by total sampling, consisting of Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Syariah BTPN and Bank Nagari Syariah, as many as 32 people. Data were collected using  questionnaires, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis, it appears that Islamic Human Capital has a positive effect on employee performance (p-value = 0.000). While the career development variable does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (p-value = 0.589). Simultaneously, the Islamic Human Capital variable and career development have an effect on employee performance (p-value = 0.000). The findings of this study reveal the importance of improving Islamic Human Capital and career development efforts in improving the performance of Islamic Bank employees, especially in Pasaman districtPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh Islamic Human Capital dan pengembangan karirterhadap kinerja karyawan Bank Syariah di Kabupaten Pasaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausalitas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif berdasarkan data statistik dan data empiris di lokasi penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan dari Bank Syariah yang terdapat di Kabupaten Pasaman. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan total sampling, yang terdiri dari Bank Syariah Mandiri, Bank Syariah BTPN dan Bank Nagari Syariah, sebanyak 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan metode kuesioner, observasi dan  dokumentasi,  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terlihat bahwa  Islamic Human Capital berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (p-value = 0,000). Sedangkan variabel pengembangan karir tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (p-value = 0,589). Secara simultan, variabel Islamic Human Capital dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (p-value = 0.000). Temuan penelitian ini mengungkap pentingnya perbaikan  Islamic Human Capital dan dan upaya pengembangan karir dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan Bank Syariah, terutama di kabupaten Pasaman

Abstract

Teori perilaku konsumen rasional dalam paradigma ekonomi konvensional didasari pada prinsip-prinsip dasar utilitarianisme, tujuannya adalah untuk memaksimalkan kepuasan (utility) dengan mengutamakan kepentingan individu (self interest). Sedangkan tujuan konsumsi dalam Islam tidak hanya terpenuhinya kebutuhan materi tetapi juga spritual, tidak hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pribadi tetapi juga untuk kepentingan orang lain, dalam hal inilah adanya konsumsi sosial dalam Islam (konsumsi akhirat). Karena tujuan utama dari syariat Islam adalah terciptanya maslahah bagi individu dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyajikan sebuah survey empiris mengenai penerapan perilaku konsumsi Islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah perilaku konsumsi seorang muslim. Apakah dalam melakukan kegiatan konsumsi seorang muslim telah rasional sesuai dengan prinsip dan ajaran agama Islam ataukah belum. Penelitian ini menggunakan populasi seluruh rumah tangga muslim yang tinggal di kota Bukittinggi. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perilaku konsumsi rumah tangga muslim Bukittinggi tergolong rasional menurut ajaran Islam. Rasionalitas konsumsi ditunjukkan dengan mengkonsumsi produk halal, tidak berlebihan dalam konsumsi, melakukan konsumsi sosial, membuat prioritas kebutuhan dan membuat perencanaan masa depan dengan menabung.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the influence of hedonism and religiosity on the consumptive behavior of students at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic Institute of Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The population in this studi was 3,900 students and the sample was 363 of them that were selected by using the cluster sampling techniques. The results showed that hedonism has a positive influence on the consumptive behavior of students, it means that the higher of the level of hedonism, the higher the consumptive behavior of students. Meanwhile, religiosity was found to have the negative effect on the consumptive behavior of students, its meant that  the higher the level of religious students, the lower the consumptive behavior of students, this study suggests that hedonism and religiosity explain variations in student consumer behavior by 64.5%, while the remaining 35.5% % is explained by other variables not explored in this study. This finding shows that to manage consumption properly, students must control their hedonism and increase their level of religiosity so that they will far from consumptive habits.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of business ethics and professional competence as independent variables with customer satisfaction as the independent variable. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 90 employees at the company PT. Pharos and Bio Farma. The data analysis technique used hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression. The results of the study partially illustrate that the t-test of business ethics variables has a significant effect on customer satisfaction and professional competence also has an effect on customer satisfaction. based on the simultaneous F-test and R-test produced simultaneously, business ethics and professional competence have an effect on customer satisfaction. and based on the R test, the two variables of business ethics and professional competence were able to give an effect of 54.9 percent on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study analyzes whether the application of digital transformation affects the revitalization of MSMEs during the pandemic and whether it can be mediated by digital literacy. Using a sample of 378 respondents from micro-sector MSMEs in Bukittinggi City in 2021, this study reveals that the application of digital transformation and digital literacy is positively related to the revitalization of MSMEs, which in this case uses business performance indicators to serve as a basis for determining the level of success. from the revitalization of SMEs. This finding offers empirical evidence about the importance of digital literacy in the relationship between implementing digital transformation and revitalizing MSMEs during the pandemic. This shows that the implementation of digital transformation will not succeed without an educational intermediary for digital technology itself. Furthermore, this study recommends strategies to improve the application of digital transformation for MSME business actors by increasing digital literacy of business actors
