The contribution of Islamic Rural Banking (popular as BPRS in Indonesia) in supporting of real sectors as financial inclusion’s indication, can be done by many program such as: 1) Increasing branch office and channeling office of Rural Banking, 2) Increasing the accessibility of rural banking for micro enterprises, 3) Implementing the service system which customer oriented and social justiced, 4) Expansion of the product which suitable for community, 5) Reinforcement the strategy in realizing financial inclusion 6) Reinforcement in regulation’s strategy, 7) Reinforcement in socialization’s strategy, 8) Reinforcement in competition’s strategy and 9) Reinforcement in human resource’s strategy.

This study investigates the implementation of culture and religiosity in credit management and then attempts to analyze the effect of culture and religiosity to the breadth of outreach in Rural Banks. This research is a quantitative study based on a survey at Rural Banks in West Sumatera Indonesia in 2018, with a sample of 52 Rural Bank. Data were collected by using questionaire and analyzed by PLS-regression.. The independent sample t-test also applied to compare the breadth of outreach or social performance in Conventional Rural Banks and Islamic rural banks. This study proves that the breadth of outreach is influenced by culture and religiosity and there is no difference of the breadth of outreach between Conventional Rural Bank and Islamic Rural Bank. These finding extends the predictor of the breadth of outreach in Rural Banks and offer a more established model of causal relationships between culture and religiosity to the breadth of outreach. This study also proves that there is no difference in the breadth of outreach between Conventional Rural Banks and Islamic Rural Banks, which means that there are no differences in the achievement of the social performance of these two types of micro financial institutions. Penelitian ini menganalis implementasi aspek budaya dan religiusitas dalam manajemen kredit untuk kemudian mengelaborasi lebih lanjut pengaruh faktor budaya dan religiusitas terhadap keluasan jangkauan Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif berdasarkan survey pada BPR-BPR di Provinsi Sumatera Barat Indonesia pada tahun 2018, dengan sampel sebanyak 52 BPR. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan Regresi PLS untuk memprediksi dampak budaya dan religiusitas terhadap keluasan jangkauan. Uji-independent sample t -test juga diterapkan untuk membandingkan keluasan jangkauan BPR Konvensional dan BPR Syariah. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa keluasan jangkauan dipengaruhi oleh budaya dan religiusitas dan tidak ada perbedaan keluasan jangkauan antara BPR Konvensional dan BPR Syariah. Temuan ini memperluas prediktor keluasan jangkauan di Bank Perkreditan Rakyat dan menawarkan model hubungan sebab akibat yang lebih mapan antara budaya dan religiusitas terhadap keluasan jangkauan. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan keluasan jangkauan antara BPR Konvensional dan BPR Syariah, yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan dalam pencapaian kinerja sosial kedua jenis lembaga keuangan ini.

This study investigates whether the profit-sharing system affects the preferences of choosing the funding product at Islamic Banks and if so , whether the effect is mediated by financial literacy. Using a sample of 385 customers of Islamic banks in Tanah Datar district, under condition 2018, this study reveals that the profit-sharing system and financial literacy is positively associated with the preferences of choosing funding products. This study proves that this association is significantly mediated by financial literacy. This finding offer the empirical evidence of the importance of financial literacy on the relationship between the profit-sharing system and the preferences of choosing the funding product. It indicates that the system of profit sharing in Islamic banks will not make people turn to Islamic banks without education of the Islamic financial system itself. Furthermore, this research recommends strategy of increasing market share of Islamic Bank by increasing public’s finance literacyStudi ini mengalisis apakah sistem bagi hasil mempengaruhi preferensi memilih produk pendanaan di Bank syariah dan apakah dimediasi oleh literasi keuangan. Dengan menggunakan sampel 385 nasabah bank syariah di Kabupaten Tanah Datar, pada tahun 2018, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa sistem bagi hasil dan literasi keuangan terkait secara positif dengan preferensi memilih produk pendanaan. Studi ini membuktikan bahwa asosiasi ini secara signifikan dimediasi oleh literasi keuangan. Temuan ini menawarkan bukti empiris tentang pentingnya literasi keuangan pada hubungan antara sistem bagi hasil dan preferensi memilih produk pendanaan. Ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem bagi hasil di bank syariah tidak akan membuat orang beralih ke bank syariah tanpa pendidikan dari sistem keuangan syariah itu sendiri. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi meningkatkan pangsa pasar Bank syariah dengan meningkatkan literasi keuangan publik.

Although social performance is an important target in islamic rural bank, this performance is constrained by various factors of commercialization. This study examined the impact of commercialization factors covering profitability, regulation, and competition on the social performance of rural bank. This research was quantitative that based on a survey on fifty units of rural banks in West Sumatera province of Indonesia from 2016 to 2018. The secondary data collected from the publication of financial services authority and other financial documents at rural banks then analyzed with panel data regression. The findings of this research showed that profitability and competition influenced the social performance, meanwhile regulation could not predict the achievement of social performance. This finding reinforced the previous studies which identified the impact of some commercialization indicators towards the achievement of social performance but there was no regulation’s impact on social performance. The impact of regulation which was originally expected to be able to strengthen the social responsibility mission of rural banks evidently did not stimulate the increase of social performance.

Analysis about strategy development of higher aducation service represent the part of analysis about development of inwrought quality management in college. Analysis about higher aducation service is important because its related to management concept from a sertificable college. Evaluation to quality to college not only done by The Bureau of Accreditation National Collage (BAN-PT), but also by hte own college. Because, as service organization in educational, the college should evaluated to the design of service has been given. Evaluation of quality of service in collage can be conducted with performance's assessment of aspects quality of service. To evaluated performance of aspect quality of service done by comparating a student expectation and perception to design of service that collage offering. It also can be done by the collage by using the SWOT analysis. Its target is to see weakness and strenght from design of service which have walked during the time. From the result assessment to aspect qualit of service, can be formulated a strategy to the make-up of quality of education service.

Objective - The objective of this paper is to give an overview of the contribution of Islamic Microfinance Institutions (IMI) in the process of empowerment of women microenterprises, and recommended a related policy.Method – This study is a field research in 2012, which focused in BMTs Agam Madani at Agam district. The data is sourced from the observation, documentation and questionnaires from 60 women micro-entrepreneurs samples who receive working capital financing. This paper uses simple regression model in order to observe relationship between working capital and the increasing of revenue. This model is to measure the amount of the multiplier effect in working capital-to increasing of revenue.Result – This paper found that IMI is a good model to develop society more prosperous by developing BMTs in each district. These BMT has thousands of micro enterprises member and could revitalized the spirit of entrepreneurship of minangkabau’s women. A research to 60 women’s micro entrepreneur samples showed the positive significant influence between lending to revenue. A multiplier effect equal to 0.068.The small number of multiplier effect implied that many factors determining their revenue, not lending only.Conclusion – This finding could explain that IMI could empower micro entrepreneur woman. This finding also recommend few strategies: 1) Revitalization of BMTs as micro catalyst by revitalization of structure of organization, products variation, human resource compentence, sharia monitoring, public cooperation and implementating local cultural value 2) Revitalization of government role as fasilitator, coordinator, initiator and mediator in developing micro sector. This study investigated the determinants of Extra-role behaviour of lecturers at state Islamic universities in Indonesia. This study was quantitative research conducted through a survey of several Islamic Higher Education in Indonesia in 2020. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-Regression (Partial Least Square - Regression) on 173 active lecturers. The finding revealed that 49.8% of the Extra-role of lecturer achievement variation could be explained by factors covering Talent management, Job involvement, Personality, and Grit. Job involvement and Personality were strong predictors of lecturer Extra-roles. This empirical finding offers empirical evidence of Extra-role behaviour in Islamic Higher Education by examining some previous predictors in business institutions. This study recommends further testing of the relationship between Grit and lecturer's Extra-roles in more comprehensive cases. This study recommends that apart from Talent management and Job involvement, to improve the Extra-role behaviour of lecturers, it is also necessary to pay attention to character building

This study aims to analyze the determinants of the sustainability of Islamic microfinance institutions and efforts to reduce poverty in Agam district. Islamic microfinance institutions in this study are limited to Baitul Maal wa Tamwil in Agam Regency with a sample of 31 BMTs that existed until 2019. The method used is the mix method. Quantitative analysis uses Smart PLS 3.0 software as a data processing tool. Qualitative analysis uses interviews as a data collection tool. The results showed that management, human resources and culture were determinants of BMT sustainability in Agam District. This study also provides an analysis that BMT is an instrument that can be used in poverty alleviation in Agam District. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penentu sustainabilitas (keberlanjutan) lembaga keuangan mikro syariah dan upaya dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Agam. Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) yang ada di Kabupaten Agam dengan sampel sebayak 31 BMT yang ada sampai tahun 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah mix method. Analisis kuantitatif mengunakan software Smart PLS 3.0 sebagai alat pengolahan data. Analisis kualitatif menggunakan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Manajemen, SDM dan Budaya merupakan faktor penentu sustainabilitas BMT di Kabupaten Agam. Penelitian ini juga menyatakan bahwa BMT merupakan salah instrumen yang dapat digunakan dalam hal penanggulangan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Agam.
