Abstract

Learning media always develops the following technological developments. Likewise, the media in learning is listening to Indonesian. The development of learning media is important. Adobe Flash-based media developed to facilitate lecturers and students in learning Indonesian listening skills in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. Media that are designed to be interesting may not only train cognitive knowledge but also practice practical listening skills. Adobe Flash-based media for listening are designed by displaying several menus, namely the home menu, RPS (Semester Learning Plan), materials, practices, games, music, profiles, and references, as well as close menus appearing in accordance with the cross (x) to be used using the application. The hope media developed was able to assist lecturers in delivering learning material, as well as helping students learn well in the classroom and outside the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the implementation of Indonesian language and literature learning in SMP Negeri 2 Surakarta and SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta. The analysis of the learning implementation was emphasized on the analysis of learning media, learning materials, learning models and methods, and learning assessment for each school. This qualitative descriptive research method applied case study techniques. Sources of data were online learning events in both schools, teacher informants of both schools, and documents, while data collection techniques were learning observation, teacher informant interviews, and document analysis. Besides, the data validity technique was carried out by method triangulation and data source triangulation. The data were then analyzed by employing Miles and Hubermann’s flow analysis technique. The results revealed that the learning media utilized by the teachers varied, comprising WhatsApp groups, email, google classroom, google meet, zoom, YouTube, and radio. The learning materials used the Wahana Pengetahuan package book and junior high school distance Indonesian learning e-modules, PPT, teacher-made modules, etc. Both schools also used the problem-based learning model. In addition, the assessment encompassed attitude assessment, knowledge assessment, and skills assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah bagi 37 guru di Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Masalah yang diselesaikan dalam kegiatan ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelaksanaan pelatihan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada bulan Februari 2023. Pelatihan melibatkan fasilitator yang memberikan materi dan pembelajaran tentang langkah-langkah menyusun artikel ilmiah yang baik, termasuk penulisan abstrak, metode penelitian, analisis data, dan tata bahasa ilmiah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan para guru dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah. Mereka mampu menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang lebih relevan, berkualitas, dan dapat diakses oleh komunitas akademik lebih luas. Penyusunan artikel ilmiah juga berdampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan, meningkatkan pemikiran ilmiah dan keterampilan analisis kritis siswa. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi para guru dan komunitas akademik di Kabupaten Sleman. Para guru dapat mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah, meningkatkan visibilitas penelitian lokal, dan memperkuat kolaborasi dengan peneliti dan akademisi. Penting untuk melanjutkan dan mendukung kegiatan serupa di masa depan guna terus memperkuat pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pendidikan di wilayah ini.
