Abstract

Objective: To analyze the correlation between nutrition knowledge, vitamin C intake, and nutritional status on blood pressure among elderly with hypertension.Methods: This was a cross-sectional study with purposive random sampling which was conducted from April to May 2017. This study included one hundred twenty-five elderly subjects with hypertension who met the inclusion criteria (17 males and 108 females), aged ≥60 years, who lived in the work area of Juwiring Public Health Center in Klaten district, Central Java, Indonesia. The data were analyzed statistically by using normality, correlation, and multiple linear regression tests.  Results: The results of the correlation test showed that there was a correlation between nutrition knowledge (p=0.011), vitamin C intake (p=0.012), nutritional status (p=0.048), and blood pressure hypertension in elderly based on the results of multiple linear regression. All data were analyzed statistically using Spearman correlation test to examine the distributed data. A significant correlation was found between nutrition knowledge, vitamin C intake, and nutritional status (p<0.05) using multiple linear regression (p<0.05). A normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test resulted in normal residue with p-value 0.000. The results showed that the regression analysis could be used to predict the blood pressure.Conclusion: There was a correlation between nutrition knowledge and blood pressure of hypertension in elderly. There was a correlation between vitamin C intake and a blood pressure of hypertension in elderly. Abstract

Pemanfaatan panas AC split sebagai pemanas air saat ini sudah dirintis namun masih banyak menggunakan heater dari energi listrik. Begitu pula pemanfaatan radiasi panas matahari sebagai sumber pemanas juga sudah banyak dibuat. Pada penelitian ini membahas jika kedua system tersebut digabung menjadi system hybrid-Solar Thermal Air Conditioner. Yaitu system yang menggabungkan panas refrijeran pada discharge line kompresor AC split dan panas solar kolektor. Alat ini sudah dibuat pada penelitian sebelumnya hanya saja terbatas pada analisis terhadap pencapaian temperatur pemanasan 40 oC dalam waktu 20 menit. Namun kendala yang dialami panas belum bisa bertahan lebih lama karena memanfaatkan waktu beban puncak dari radiasi matahari, dan isolasi tangki yang tipis. Untuk itu dikembangkan sistem hibrid dengan penggantian tangki pemanas air. Metodenya diawali dengan membuat model modifikasi sistem hibrid, penentuan material insulasi tangki dan ketebalan dinding penyimpan panas agar heat loss air dapat direduksi. Kemudian pada solar collector dimodifikasi dengan instalasi pipa seri serta sudut kemiringan kolektor 20o. Untuk sirkulasi aliran refrijeran dari discharge line kompresor ditambahkan kontrol otomatis, hal ini diharapkan kinerja alat lebih maksimal. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat diketahui seberapa efektif waktu penyimpanan air panas dan kinerja dari system tersebut.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berbagai bentuk kecemasan, waktu munculnya kecemasan, dan teknik pencak silat yang menjadi pemicu kecemasan, baik pada atlet pencak silat perempuan maupun laki-laki. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah atlet pencak silat yang minimal pernah mengikuti kejuaraan daerah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan studi lapangan. Selanjutnya data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskripsi melalui persentase. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah data bentuk pemicu atau penyebab, masa dan waktu permulaan, serta teknik yang memicu kecemasan pada atlet pencak silat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini: (1) Ada perbedaan jumlah pemicu kecemasan antara atlet perempuan dan laki-laki, 6 pada atlet perempuan dan 4 pada atlet laki-laki. (2) Terdapat selisih persentase kecemasan antara atlet laki-laki dan perempuan. Saat masa latihan dan menjelang pertandingan, atlet perempuan lebih merasakan cemas daripada atlet laki-laki. Sementara itu, pada masa pertandingan, atlet laki-laki lebih merasakan cemas dibandingkan atlet perempuan. (3) Terdapat 7 teknik yang dapat memicu kecemasan pada atlet pencak silat, dan guntingan adalah yang paling mendominasi munculnya kecemasan.

Abstract

Akhir-akhir ini sering terjadi kebakaran yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor termasuk faktor kelalaian manusia. Proses datangnya kebakaran selalu tanpa dapat diprediksi terlebih dahulu. Umumnya kebakaran diketahui apabila keadaan api sudah mulai membesar atau asap sudah mengepul keluar dari gedung itu. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan alat, mencari komponen serta mendesain pendeteksi kebakaran dari komponen-komponen yang ada sehingga alat akan bekerja lebih maksimal. Pada tahap ini juga melakukan pembuatan algoritma dan juga software. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe sistem pendeteksi kebakaran yang dirancang dapat mendeteksi kebakaran berdasarkan informasi dari sensor api dan gas, dan mengaktifkan buzzer sebagai indikatornya yang akan berbunyi.

Abstract

The call to use clean and sustainable energy as an alternative energy source has grown rapidly over the past decade. This was triggered by the issue of increasing environmental pollution, the limited and decreasing amount of non-renewable energy and became one of the goals of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). According to the principle of conservation of energy, energy cannot be fully utilized, there is always some energy wasted. The technology to reuse "wasted" energy into a source of electrical energy is called energy harvesting. This paper describes the design of a prototype energy harvesting system using a floor-mounted piezoelectric that generates electrical energy when stepped on. The system prototype is composed of 16 piezoelectric arrays which are made into 4 rows and installed in parallel. The system is equipped with the LTC358 energy harvester module and the MT 3608 step-up booster module. Test results showed electrical energy was successfully in the battery. The maximum power generated by the piezoelectric array after passing through a full-wave rectifier is 3.48 W. For the same number of footsteps against the piezoelectric array, the increase in charge of the Li-Po 150 mAH battery is smaller than that of the 250 mAH type.

Abstract

UPT. Library of College Management of Informatika Computer (STMIK) Wicida Samarinda East Kalimantan, representing peripatetic library in the field of loaning of books library of which can support student science. All activity at library still conducted manually, that is by noting every activity at one particular jotter. Information system is a structure system which consists of components which is interaction to support activities to present information at one particular organization. Applying of information system at library can assist to facilitate activity of library, especially activity related to presentation of information at library. Waterfall represent a model taking activity of elementary process like specification, development, validation, and evolution, and him as different process phases like specification of conditions, scheme of software, implementation, examination, and so on. Applying of model of waterfall at library information system expected can facilitate in activity of library especially in activity of loaning transaction and return of library book. Library book given by label of code (NIPUS) and membership card given by member number to facilitate process identify member and book at time of activity of loaning transaction and return. This research is expected can be made as media to water down activity at library, especially at UPT. Abstract

The depletion of petroleum reserves makes the emergence of a variety of alternative energy, one of which is Biodiesel. Biodiesel is a fatty acid ester derived from vegetable oil or animal by transesterification or esterification reaction. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of the use of fuel mixture of biodiesel jelantah with heating 950C to power, torque and Sfc. The test is done by loading the lamp load from 200 - 3200 watt on variation of biodiesel fuel volume by 30%, 40% and 50%. The research method used is descriptive analysis where the result of research is described and described based on research result. From the test results resulted in the addition of biodiesel jelantah fuel effect on power, torque and Sfc generated diesel motor.

Abstract

The objective of study was to analyze the improving of balanced nutrition behaviour after applying nutritional education through pictorial story media for children and audiovisual media for mothers. The design of this study is a quasi-experimental study. Subjects were 45 students and 45 mothers of Limpakuwus Elementary School, Banyumas Regency. There was increasing of students' knowledge (20.8%) and maternal nutritional knowledge (15.5%) after being educated. Different behavior changes occurred significantly (p: 0,000 <0.05) before and after nutrition education. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbaikan perilaku gizi seimbang setelah penerapan edukasi gizi mellaui media cerita bergambar dan audiovisual pada orangtua. Desain penelitian ini adalah Kuasi Eksperimen. Sampel adalah 45 siswa dan 45 ibu pada SD Limpakuwus, Kabupaten Banyumas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan anak (20,8%) dan ibu (15,5 %) setelah pemberian edukasi. Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada perilaku (p 0,000< 0,05) sebelum dan sesudah edukasi.

Abstract

The attendance system is considered to be able to assist an agency in providing information about a person's attendance schedule. The attendance system can also be used as an effective tool for implementing discipline in an agency because, in this attendance system, we can see the difference between people's discipline through the timeliness of attendance that has been determined at each of these agencies. In designing this system the method used is NFC (Near Field Communication) where this system can be used to help record someone's attendance schedule. The hardware used is a door lock solenoid, and personal computer devices, while the software used is Wemos D1 Mini. For recording the database used is MySql. The results of presence system using NFC using the Key Door Lock method have a very high level of accuracy for reading an identity card. It can be seen from the data that has been collected that the accuracy of reading an identity card by an NFC reader shows that there is no error or error. The results of response time check test on the NFC reader reading can be proven by formula, where average time value of response time check test is 0.67 minutes.
