Abstract

Important role in the comfort of patients. Based on field observation, patients and visitors felt uncomfortable and bored while waiting in the queue to consult a doctor. Hospital visitors are not all ill patients but there are also those who only consult, escort, or visit. In this case, the beauty and comfort in the waiting area, which is a public and intermediary area, is expected to have a psychological effect that can distract visitors from a terrifying impression, provide comfortability while waiting and reduce patient tension before being examined. This study examines the influence of interior on the comfort of patients in the waiting room with case studies at Abby Hospital, Bunda Women and Children Hospital, and PMI Hospital. This study uses a qualitative method with a correlation method approach. Research variables include (1) circulation, (2) cleanliness, (3) noise, (4) lighting, (5) beauty, (6) aromas/odors. The findings show that at Bunda Women and Children Hospital, 32% of the respondents felt uncomfortable with the layout of the room (facilities/furniture), 64% of respondents felt comfortable, 4% of respondents felt very comfortable. While at PMI Hospital, 36% of respondents felt uncomfortable with the layout of the room (facilities/furniture), 56% of respondents felt comfortable, 4% of respondents felt very comfortable. Finally, at Abby Hospital, 0% of respondents felt uncomfortable with the layout of the room (facilities/furniture), 68% of respondents felt comfortable, 32% of respondents felt very comfortable. In this study, conclusions were drawn for basic guidelines for hospital comfort in terms of advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

Geogebra is software designed to solve geometry, calculus and algebra material as well as applications for designing spaces and buildings. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching material products through Geogebra software in mathematics courses that can be utilized in learning. The stages in this research include: (1) the stage of developing teaching material products, (2) the testing phase of teaching materials products (3) the analysis of increasing student’s independence. Product development and level of practicability of teaching materials is validated by material experts, media experts, lecturers as users, and trials of teaching material products. Qualitative data is used as a consideration in teaching material products to make revisions while quantitative data is analysed by statistical tests to see an increase in student self-independence. Based on the test results of experts teaching materials developed for trials in the field. Experts recommendations about teaching materials are appropriate for use and revision. After the revision is issued, try the field that involving students, the results of the test items about the reliability level of 0.734 so that teaching materials could be used for research instrumentts. The average value and standard deviation of the normalized gain values for the experimental class are 0.812 and 0.139 while the control class are 0.731 and 0.198. Abstract

The development of the education world towards ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in this era made education more modern. More software or software is available free of charge that can be used for teaching and learning processes especially mathematics courses. Geogebra software is one of the software that can help students to learn independently in learning mathematics. This is because "Geogebra influences educational practices in three dimensions, namely: classroom practice, cognitive development, and learning attitudes" Geogebra software influences the teaching and learning process in three dimensions, namely classroom practice, cognitive development, and learning. information then making teaching media will be more practical and inexpensive. Teaching and learning process Mathematics courses in Architecture Engineering at Malikussaleh University still do not use Geogebra Software. Geogebra Software is included in the open source software where its use is not constrained by permission / license. GeoGebra software can increase the independence of learning in mathematics in students of the Architecture Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Malikussaleh University. Abstract

Abstract

The rapid population growth in developing cities is caused by the large number of immigrants who settle and live there. This case also occurred in Lhokseumawe City, the center of district administration, education, economy and trade on the east coast of Aceh. This condition makes housing development a fundamental need for everyone. The government ensures everyone can own and live in a livable, healthy house with low prices. The government is trying to overcome this by building subsidized housing assisted by the developer so that the middle to the lower economic community can still own and live in a house that follows the existing standard provisions so that it can be said to be a livable house. This study aims to determine the suitability of subsidized housing that has been built based on the standard criteria for building healthy simple houses and the provision of facilities and infrastructure. Qualitative descriptive methods are used to observe and analyze objects based on applicable standards, housing health requirements, and technical guidelines for constructing simple healthy houses and SNI for environmental planning in urban housing. The analysis result defines that the research objects (Palapa Housing and Griya Housing) have followed the standard of healthy simple houses, facilities and infrastructure. Several variables are found inappropriate, such as parks, drainage and waste management at Palapa Housing and parks and clean water supply at Griya Housing. Residents should adapt to the lack or non-compliance of these housing standards.
