Abstract

The baby`s weight begins to experience growth disorders at the age of 3 months, and continues to decrease until the age of 12 months. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in weight gain of infants who were given oral motor stimulation and tummy time. This study used a pre-test post-test control group design. This is a design that performs a pre-test before being given treatment, as well as conducting a posttest after each group is given treatment and will show that there is a treatment that produces a one-way effect.Based on the results of the two different test averages in this study, it was found that the average weight gain of babies who were given oral motor stimulation was higher than the average weight gain of babies who were given tummy time stimulation with a ρ-value of 0. This means that there is an influence of oral motor stimulation on infant growth at the Wonokusumo Health Center. All respondents totaling 70 babies aged 10-28 days had normal weight according to age, namely the average weight before being given oral motor stimulation was 3,198.943 grams, the average after being given tummy time stimulation was 3,748. All respondents experienced an average weight gain of 549.09 grams on tummy time. There was a significant difference between the baby's weight gain given oral motor stimulation and tummy time. It is necessary to do oral motor stimulation to increase body weight in infants, and there is no growth disturbance.

Abstract

Status gizi ibu sangatlah penting untuk tercapainya kesejahteraan ibu dan janin. Hal tersebut perlu diperhatikan untuk menghindari resiko seperti anemia pada ibu hamil yang dikarenakan konsumsi nutrisi yang kurang atau kehilangan banyak darah pada persalinan sebelumnya. Status gizi dan nutrisi ibu hamil wajib dipenuhi selama kehamilan berlangsung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan status gizi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III di Puskesmas Tanah Kali Kedinding Surabaya. Jenis penelitian survei analitik, dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Tanah Kali Kedinding kota Surabaya pada bulan Maret 2023. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Semua Ibu Hamil trimester III di Puskesmas Tanah Kali Kedinding periode 1 Januari sampai dengan 30 September 2022 sejumlah 164 dengan sampel 116 Ibu hamil dengan cara purposive sampling. Variabel independen status gizi (IMT) dan dependen kejadian anemia. Instrumen yang digunakan berdasarkan data sekunder adalah rekam medis. Analisa data menggunakan uji spearman rank dengan a = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan status gizi (IMT) ibu hamil trimester III hampir setengahnya Obesitas sejumlah 41 (35.3%). Kejadian anemia ibu hamil trimester III sebagian besar menunjukkan tidak anemia sejumlah 87 (75%). Dari Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan uji spearman rank menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 < α = 0,05 artinya terdapat hubungan antara status gizi dengan kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil trimester III. Disarankan ibu hamil trimester III tetap menjaga kondisi tubuh dengan mengkonsumsi makanan yang bernutrisi untuk mencukupi kebutuhan tubuh dan menghindari kurangnya status gizi dan terjadinya anemia yang bisa berakibat fatal hingga kematian

Abstract

The tri core breastfeeding model is a health education model for breastfeeding mothers that includes three main aspects: lactation education, self-efficacy or increased confidence in breastfeeding mothers, and support from the surrounding environment. The importance of increasing self-confidence when breastfeeding, especially in working mothers, is something that needs to be considered. The government's efforts to increase exclusive breastfeeding coverage are contained in Government Regulation No.33/2012 on breastfeeding. This study aims to analyze the application of tri core breastfeeding models using audiovisual-based e-modules to increase the motivation of working mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. This study used a quasy experiment method with a non-equivalent control group design. The intervention group (18 people) used e-modules, while the control group used e-leaflets (18 people). The results of this study obtained ρvalue 0.000 < α = 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the use of audiovisual-based e-module media and e-leaflets on increasing motivation for exclusive breastfeeding in working mothers. Data analysis in this study used marginal homogeneity test and mann whitney test. The application of tri core breastfeeding models using audiovisual-based e-modules is expected to be able to increase exclusive breastfeeding coverage in working mothers.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious problem in the health and social that has a big impact. Curative efforts for stunting require high levels of material and non-material support, so that prevention becomes an effective and efficient step. This service involves empowering teenagers through the formation of nutrition awareness groups. The methods used are training, mentoring and evaluation, activities are carried out by examining participants health, providing material, practice and evaluation. This service was 37 participants, Wonoayu Health Center, Sidoarjo Regency. The result of the activity was the formation of a youth group regarding adolescent nutritional awareness, the results of the pretest knowledge about reproductive health were highest in the sufficient category (40.54%) and in the posttest there was an increase to the highest frequency in the good category (67.56%). The results of the pretest knowledge about stunting were highest in the poor category (51.35%) and in the posttest there was an increase to the highest frequency in the good category (62.16%) and in the pretest, knowledge about the role of adolescent nutrition as an effort to prevent stunting was highest in the poor category (54.05%,) and in the posttest, there was an increase to the highest frequency. good category (72.22%). In conclusion, this activity is able to increase teenagers' knowledge about reproductive health, stunting and the role of nutrition during adolescence in preventing stunting. Suggestions for activities continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis with the support of policy makers, schools and health service agencies.

Abstract

Breast milk is the best food for babies and always disseminated by the government and health workers. Regulations explains that every baby has the right to get exclusive breast milk from birth for 6 (six) months. There are 34.64% of mothers in Lakarsantri Subdistrict, Surabaya who do not provide exclusive breastfeeding to their babies. There are many reasons given, including breast milk does not come out, the baby does not want to breastfeed and the mother works. Community service activities in the form of education on exclusive breastfeeding mothers and families. This community service activity aims to increase the commitment of mothers and families in exclusive breastfeeding. The counseling material includes the definition of exclusive breastfeeding, how to breastfeed, how to store breast milk properly and efforts to increase breast milk production. The participants were mothers and families with infants and toddlers. The number of participants was around 20 people. The media used were leaflets and demonstrations on how to pump breast milk. The results of the activity were able to increase the community's knowledge of the definition, how to store breast milk, factors that affect breast milk and the correct way to express breast milk.
