Abstract

Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang peran pedidikan agama Islam di sekolah dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) merupakan salah satu pilar pendidikan karakter yang paling utama. Pendidikan karakter akan tumbuh dengan baik jika dimulai dari tertanamnya jiwa keberagamaan pada anak, oleh karena itu materi PAI disekolah menjadi salah satu penunjang pendidikan karakter. Melalui pembelajaaran PAI siswa diajarkan aqidah sebagai dasar keagamaannya, diajarkan al-Quran dan hadis sebagai pedoman hidupnya, diajarkan fiqih sebagai rambu-rambu hukum dalam beribadah, mengajarkan sejarah Islam sebagai sebuah keteladan hidup, dan mengajarkan akhlak sebagai pedoman prilaku manusia apakah dalam kategori baik ataupun buruk. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan utama dari Pembelajaran PAI adalah pembentukan kepribadian pada diri siswa yang tercermin dalam tingkah laku dan pola pikirnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Disamping itu, keberhasilan pembelajaran PAI disekolah salah satunya juga ditentukan oleh penerapan metode pembelajaran yang tepat. --------------------------This writing is presenting about the role of Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) lesson toward students. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) is one of the most importances pilar of character education. Character education will build well, if it is started from cultivating religious sense of students, therefore, PAI lesson become one of supporting lesson of character education. Through PAI teaching and learning, the students is taught belief of God as the basic of their religion, taught al quran and hadits as their way of life, taught fiqih as law signs in doing Islam teaching, taught Islam history as a good life example, and taught ethica as the way of human character.

Abstract

This article focuses on the contribution of the peace school program as one of the implementations of religious moderation strategies in schools. This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach was applied using structured interviews and documentation studies at SMUN Sugihwaras Bojonegoro as a pilot school for the peace school program. The empirical data illustrates the concept of the peace school program, the implementation of the peace school program, and the contribution of the peace school program as a strategy for implementing religious moderation in schools. This study found that the peace school program is one of the programs that significantly contributes to realizing the implementation of religious moderation in schools. This program implements the concept of religious moderation that focuses on inculcating and internalizing the values ​​of tolerance and peace. This program targets the three main pillars of the education process: policies, practices of tolerance and peace in the school environment, and the management of student organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects in realizing the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile as an essential part of the goals to be achieved in the independent curriculum. This research is qualitative, with data collection techniques, namely literature study. Data is obtained by analyzing books, articles, notes, and various reports related to the problem. Data analysis techniques were carried out using critical analysis techniques. This study shows a correlation and a real contribution to PAI learning in realizing the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. This can be seen from the objectives of the PAI subject, namely to create students who have a noble character which is reflected in their obedience to worship Allah SWT and daily behavior, maintaining relationships with others, and the surrounding natural environment in synergy with the dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. This synergy means that the success of PAI learning will also significantly impact the success of realizing the Pancasila student profile as one of the strategic plans of the Ministry of Education and Culture for 2020-2024.
