Abstract

Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini yakni (1) Bagaimana Pengembangan aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo? (2) Bagaimana hasil pengujian kualitas model aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo yang telah dikembangkan?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui Pengembangan aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil pengujian kualitas model aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo yang telah dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan Model Waterfall. Selanjutnya, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: pengujian unit, pengujian integrasi, dan pengujian validasi. Hasil penelitian Pengembangan aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo menggunakan model waterfall yang merupakan model pengembangan perangkat lunak yang sistematis dan berurutan (sekuensial) karena pengembangnya harus melewati tahap-tahap yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Yaitu meliputi tahap communication, planning, modelling, construction dan deployment. Bahasa pemrogaman yang digunakan yaitu Microsoft Visual Basic dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil pengujian model aplikasi layanan akademik mahasiswa berbasis software di Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo menunjukkan hasil yang baik pada pengujian unit, pengujian integrasi, pengujian validasi, dan pengujian sistem. Pada pengujian unit, semua unit dalam modul sistem telah sesuai dengan test case jalur independen.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to identify best practice and management of Islamic education in the era of globalization which is full of global competition. The purpose of the research is to prepare Islamic education management that is considered good even though the challenges experienced in the world of education today are various. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach. The research data consisted of primary and secondary. Primary in the form of data that is considered almost the same from the title of this article which is found in several journals, both national and international. While secondary data is supporting data from the literature that is related to this article. The data analysis was carried out using an in-depth coding, interpretation and evaluation system of data. The results show that the best practice and management of Islamic education which is considered capable of competing in this era of globalization consists of transformational leadership, training, interactional, and several other leadership styles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the principal as a manager and the performance of teachers in the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gorontalo District. In research that uses this type of quantitative research, the population is a saturated sample, with the number studied 32 people. The data analysis technique used a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique used was moment data analysis. Based on the research results, there is a positive/significant relationship between the role of the head of the madrasah as a manager and the performance of teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Gorontalo District. This is indicated by the results of calculating the performance coefficient between the teacher performance score (variable Y) and the role of the madrasah principal as manager (variable X), which was obtained at 32.15%. This shows that the principal as a manager and teacher performance has a strong enough relationship, namely: 0.567 and positive, which means that the relationship between the head of the madrasah and a manager increases, so the teacher's performance will also increase.

Abstract

Educational inequality between urban and rural areas remains a major issue in the development of education in Indonesia. Differences in the quality of school infrastructure, access to technology, teacher competencies, and the economic capacity of communities have resulted in significant disparities in educational quality. Schools in urban areas generally possess more comprehensive educational facilities compared to those in rural regions. This condition has contributed to limited educational access for rural communities and high school dropout rates caused by economic constraints. This study aims to analyze educational cross-subsidization as an economic solution to reduce educational disparities between urban and rural schools in Indonesia. This study employs a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from national and international scientific journals published between 2003 and 2024. The findings reveal that educational cross-subsidization represents a mechanism for redistributing educational resources from communities or regions with higher economic capacity to underprivileged communities. Cross-subsidy policies can be implemented through school operational assistance, educational scholarships, the development of rural school infrastructure, educational technology support, and the equitable distribution of qualified teachers. Educational cross-subsidization has proven effective in improving access to education, enhancing the quality of rural school facilities, reducing school dropout rates, and expanding learning opportunities for economically disadvantaged communities. However, the implementation of educational cross-subsidization still faces several challenges, including infrastructure disparities, limited budget supervision, digital inequality, and the low managerial capacity of local educational institutions. Therefore, inclusive, transparent, and sustainable educational policies are required to ensure that educational cross-subsidization can promote equitable national educational quality and support the balanced development of Indonesia’s human resources

Abstract

Digitalization has become one of the primary factors driving the transformation of modern educational systems, particularly in the field of educational management. The rapid development of information and communication technology has encouraged educational institutions to shift from conventional management systems to digital-based systems that are more effective, efficient, and transparent. This study aims to analyze the various opportunities and challenges associated with the digitalization of educational management in the technological era. The research employed a library research method using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through an extensive review of books, scientific articles, national and international journals, and relevant academic documents published between 2003 - 2023. The data analysis technique utilized content analysis by identifying major themes related to the digitalization of education. The findings indicate that the digitalization of educational management offers several strategic opportunities, including improved efficiency in educational administration, accelerated academic services, easier access to data and information, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced transparency and accountability in educational governance. Furthermore, the utilization of digital technology supports the flexibility of educational services and strengthens the quality of institutional governance in the modern era. However, the implementation of digitalized educational management continues to face several challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure, low levels of digital competence and literacy among human resources, resistance to organizational change, and concerns regarding data security and user privacy. This study concludes that the successful implementation of digitalized educational management requires adequate technological infrastructure, the enhancement of digital competencies among educators and educational staff, the development of integrated information systems, and government policies that are adaptive to technological advancements. With appropriate strategies, the digitalization of educational management can serve as an effective solution for improving the quality, effectiveness, and competitiveness of education in the era of digital transformation

Abstract

Tantangan pendidikan tinggi di masa depan adalah mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas sesuai dengan tuntutan dan kebutuhan pembangunan. Pendidikan tinggi dituntut memaksimalkan penerapan prinsip kesepadanan (match), sehingga produknya sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan perkembangan yang terjadi dalam masyarakat yang senantiasa berubah dengan cepat. Salah satu upaya menciptakan pendidikan tinggi yang berkualitas di Indonesia, yaitu dengan menerapkan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (MMT) sebagai suatu alternatif yang patut dipertimbangkan. Untuk itu perlu diadakan pengkajian khusus mengenai faktor-faktor internal yang telah dimiliki. Pengkajian ini dimaksudkan untuk menilai faktor-faktor atau kondisi yang sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan faktor kemampuan atau kondisi yang sudah dimiliki dan pengadaan atau penciptaan faktor-faktor atau kondisi yang belum dimiliki. Sehingga dengan demikian dapat ditetapkan suatu strategi yang tepat dalam penerapan Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (MMT) pada IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo.
