Abstract

ABSTRAKJumlah pengusaha lemang makanan khas Tebing Tinggi semakin berkurang bahkan dari pengusaha lemang yang masih berproduksi, valome penjualannya semakin menurun. Faktor utama yang menjadi penyebab kondisi tersebut adalah rendahnya kemampuan manajemen usaha, tidak adanya sentuhan teknologi, pemajangan produk yang tidak menarik, kumuh, dan berdebu, kurang higienis, tidak ada label dan kemasan sehingga berdampak menurunnya minat beli masyarakat. Masalah lain yang dihadapi mitra adalah lemang hasil produksi yang tidak tahan lama, juga rendahnya kemampuan mitra dalam membuat selai sebagai produk pelengkap dari lemang. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian meliputi pendampingan dalam bentuk perubahan mindset tentang manajemen usaha, pelatihan, dan praktik produksi lemang dan selai, serta rancang bangun alat juga pengembangan desain/merek dan kemasan. Pada setiap tahapan kegiatan dilakukan evaluasi baik evaluasi proses maupun evaluasi hasil sehingga luaran kegiatan dapat terukur. Hasil dari kegiatan ini: 1) adanya perubahan mindset tentang manajemen usaha; 2) adanya peningakatan keahlian dan ketrampilan dalam memproduksi lemang dan memproduksi selai; 3) adanya alat berupa gerobak etalase; dan 4) adanya desain label/merek dan kemasan produk. ABSTRACTThe number of lemang entrepreneurs for Tebing Tinggi traditional food was decreasing, even from those who were still producing lemang, their sales volume was decreasing. The main factor that causes this condition was the low ability of business management. technology had not been utilized, display of unattractive products, dirty and dusty, lack of hygiene, no labels and packaging so that it had decreased public interest in buying. Another problem faced by partners was not durable, as well as the low ability of partners to make jam as a complementary product from lemang. The activity methods used in the service activities include mentoring in the form of changes in business management, training and practice of lemang and jam production, design of tools as well as design/brand and packaging development. At each stage of the activity, evaluation was carried out, both process evaluation and evaluation of results so that the output of the activity can be measured. The results of this activity were: 1) a change in mindset regarding business management, 2) an increase in expertise and skills in producing lemang and producing jam, 3) the existence of a tool in the form of a storefront cart and 4) the existence of a label / brand design and product packaging.

Abstract

Utility of fermented soybean waste has a prospect to become afood product interested by the communityand it is the best alternative that can be offered to the businessmen of  fermented soybean.  Previously, thewaste is disposed into a river resulting a problem. The waste contains nutrients (protein, carbohydrate,andothers) in which if disposed into a river, they can results in pollution, but if it is managed, it can produceprofitability to the partners of fermented soybean. The goal : design of nata slicer, rate of nata media,production of starter, production of nata de soya, business management and product packaging. Themethod : education, training of production, training of business  management, design and advocacy. Thesolution of problem is to provide the material (knowledge) of utility of fermented soybeanwaste, nutritionalcontent, soft skill, manufacture of starter, nata desoya, design of nata slicer in capacity of 6 kgs/30minutes, and  application  of  nata  slicer.  The resut : slicer of nat de soya, starter product, nata  de soyaproduct, packaging and the result of organoleptic test for taste, colorand texture  shown a positiveresponse of the partner and participants of IbM.  The nata de soya product has received certificate of homeindustry production  (SPP-IR T). The analysis  of efficiency and economy : previously, the waste is disposedinto a river without benefit (0).  After IbM program, in the beginning production, the Partner can produce 6trays of nata de soya (120cups ) with the total capital of Rp. 161.230. The average selling price of natadesoya is of 120 x Rp. 2500 = Rp 300.000. The profitability is of Rp. 138.170.   Conclusion : nata de soyaproduct has prospect with a higher cellulose content and it is a newer business for the partner of fermentedsoybean business of the local community that can increase in income and it is an alternative of controllingthe environmental pollution.

Abstract

The development of teaching materials e-module is an effort to train students to learn independently. This research focused on the feasibility level of developing teaching materials e-module that were applied to class XI students for the 2020/2021 academic year at SMA Swasta BPI Paluh Kurau Hamparan Perak District. A quantitative method was used in this study. The population was all students of class XI at SMA Swasta BPI Paluh Kurau, Hamparan Perak District. To determine the feasibility level, a comparison was made between the experimental class and the control class. The data source results from a questionnaire given to the experimental class to see using e-modules on economic subjects, student test results, and experts. Validation test sheets include e-module design, material experts, and media experts. The procedures and steps of this research used the research model of Borg & Gall (2007: 589), which produces learning products. The result shows that the use of e-modules was in the good or feasible category for use. Overall, learning using e-modules is quite exciting and fun and exciting and easy to use by students. With e-modules, students can become more independent and accelerate learning but still need teacher guidance to have better understand phenomena and language problems in questions in the module.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Destination Image, Tourist Preferences, and Service Quality on the Decision to Visit Istana Maimoon Medan. The research method employed is a quantitative approach. The population of this study is all visitors of Istana Maimoon, with a sample size of 160 respondents taken using purposive sampling. Data analysis used is Path Analysis. Data collection was done using a questionnaire. The results of this study show that hypotheses 1-7 are accepted, namely: (1) Destination Image has a positive and significant effect on Service Quality, (2) Destination Image has a positive and significant effect on the Decision to Visit, (3) Tourist Preferences have a positive and significant effect on Service Quality, (4) Tourist Preferences have a positive and significant effect on the Decision to Visit, (5) Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on the Decision to Visit, (6) Service Quality mediates the influence of Destination Image on the Decision to Visit, and (7) Service Quality mediates the influence of Tourist Preferences on the Decision to Visit. These findings provide important insights for destination managers to enhance their image and service quality to attract more tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Net Working Capital (NWC) and Profitability on Firm Value with Growth Opportunity as an intervening variable in transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2019–2023. The research method used is a quantitative approach with secondary data analysis obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the IDX. The analysis technique used in this study is path analysis with the Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) approach. The results of the study show that Net Working Capital (NWC) has a significant effect on Growth Opportunity, but does not directly affect Firm Value. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on Growth Opportunity and Firm Value, indicating that companies with high profitability tend to have better firm value. In addition, Growth Opportunity acts as an intervening variable that mediates the effect of Net Working Capital and Profitability on Firm Value. The implications of this study indicate that companies in the transportation and logistics sector need to pay attention to working capital management and increase profitability in order to maximize firm value. Increasing growth opportunities through the right investment strategy can help increase the company's attractiveness in the eyes of investors and strengthen the company's financial stability.
