Abstract

ABSTRACTClown fish is a type of ornamental fish that is very commonly known, namely Amphiprion ocellaris. this research Analyzes the effect of the use of pumpkin flour mixed into fish feed for color brightness and growth. The method used is an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment is the addition of pumpkin fruit flour with a different number of additional doses of treatment P0 without adding pumpkin fruit flour (control), treatment P1 5%, treatment P2 10%, treatment P3 15%, treatment P4 20%. The parameters observed were total carotenoids, survival rates, growth in length and weight of fish and water quality. Based on the analysis of variance that the addition of pumpkin fruit flour has an influence on the brightness of the color and growth, where the highest treatment was obtained in the treatment of P3, namely the addition of pumpkin fruit flour 15%, with the number of color changes of 1.2631, absolute weight growth of 0, 5853, specific weight of 0.0195, absolute length of 0.4567, specific length of 0.0152 and survival rate of 0.8000.Keywords: Color change, absolute weight, specific weight, specific length, clownfish.ABSTRAKIkan badut adalah jenis ikan hias yang sangat umum dikenal, yaitu Amphiprion ocellaris. Penelitian ini Menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan tepung labu kuning yang dicampur ke dalam pakan ikan terhadap kecerahan dan pertumbuhan warna. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuannya adalah penambahan tepung buah labu dengan jumlah dosis tambahan perlakuan berbeda, P0 tanpa menambahkan tepung buah labu (kontrol), perlakuan P1 5%, perlakuan P2 10%, perlakuan P3 15%, perlakuan P4 15%, perlakuan P4 20%. Parameter yang diamati adalah total karotenoid, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan panjang dan berat ikan dan kualitas air. Berdasarkan analisis varian bahwa penambahan tepung buah labu kuning memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecerahan warna dan pertumbuhan, dimana perlakuan tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan P3, yaitu penambahan tepung buah labu 15%, dengan jumlah perubahan warna 1,2631, pertumbuhan berat absolut 0, 5853, berat spesifik 0,0195, panjang absolut 0,4567, panjang spesifik 0,0152 dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 0,8000.Kata kunci: Perubahan warna, berat total, berat spesifik, panjang spesifik, ikan badut.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of commercial feed combination with water spinach leaves (Ipomoea aquatica) at different ratios on the growth of common carp (Cyprinus carpio). This research was conducted for 35 days, located in Seteluk Atas Village, Seteluk District, West Sumbawa Regency. The common carp seeds used were 5-7 cm in size from one brood. The container used was 16 liter in size with a density of 10 fish / treatment. The method used in this study was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with five treatments and three replications, namely, P1: 100% commercial feed (control), P2: commercial feed + water spinach leaves (1+1), P3: commercial feed + water spinach leaves (1+2), P4: commercial feed + water spinach leaves (1+3), P5: 100% water spinach leaves. The data obtained were then calculated and analyzed by using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results of this study indicated that the use of commercial feed combination with water spinach leaves can affect growth, feed efficiency and feed conversion of common carp but did not affect the survival of common carp. Provision of 100% commercial feed (P1) and combination of commercial feed with water spinach leaves at a ratio of 1:2 (P3) had the same effect in increasing the growth of common carp, namely 1.17 g and 1.11 g, respectively.

Abstract

One of the factors that greatly influence the successful growth of cultivated fish is feed. The aim of this study was to examine the effect of iodine addition on the growth and survival rate of carp (Cyprinus carpio) seeds. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 3 replications. 10 fish per unit each, with treatment P0 (feed without adding iodine), P1 (feed + iodine at a dose of 10 mg / kg), P2 (feed + iodine at a dose of 20 mg / kg), P3 (feed + iodine at a dose of 30 mg / kg). The results showed that there was no significant effect (p> 0.05) on the growth rate, feed conversion and survival rate of goldfish. So it can be concluded that the addition of iodine in feed supplementation up to a dose of 30 mg / kg does not have a significant effect on the growth rate of length and absolute weight, feed conversion, survival rate and iodine content in the body of goldfish (Cyprinus carpio). The best recommended dose of iodine for growth is 20 mg / kg of feed, although the results were not significantly different for growth. However, it can have an effect on the iodine content in the body of goldfish.

Abstract

Cherry leaf is a natural ingredient that can be used as a feed additive because it contains flavonoids, tannins, saponins, triterpene and polyphenols which are antioxidants. This study aims to determine the effect of giving cherry leaf extract on the growth of vaname shrimp. A total of 20 vannamei shrimp in the PL-20 phase measuring ± 0.1g / head are kept in a 40 liter container. The method used in this study was an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely P1: feeding without cherry leaf extract (control), P2: feeding with the addition of 1% cherry leaf extract, P3: feeding with the addition of 2% cherry leaf extract and P4: feeding with the addition of 3% cherry leaf extract. The data obtained were analyzed by ANNOVA test with a confidence level of 95% and Duncan's continued test. The results of this study indicate that the addition of cherry leaf extract can affect the growth of vaname shrimp, but has no effect on the FCR value and survival rate. The addition of cherry leaf extract to a concentration of 3% can increase the growth of absolute weight and length and the specific growth rate of vaname shrimp which is better than the treatment without the addition of cherry leaf extract. Therefore cherry leaf extract has the potential to be used as a feed additive.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih Mitra membuat bak terpal yang berdiameter 150 cm dengan tinggi 125 cm. Metode kegiatan yang diterapkan adalah pelatihan dalam bentuk diskusi yang terarah dan disertai dengan praktek secara langsung dalam pembuatan bak terpal. Kegiatan ini melibatkan Mitra secara aktif mulai dari kegiatan persiapan alat dan bahan, pemotongan bahan, pembuatan rangka, pembentukan terpal, dan perakitan bak terpal. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, Mitra berhasil membuat satu unit bak terpal yang siap digunakan untuk budidaya ikan.

Abstract

Teluk ekas merupakan sentra budidaya perikanan yang ada di pulau Lombok. Ekas buana merupakan salah satu desa yang berbatasan wilayahnya dengan Teluk Ekas. Mayoritas masyarakat Desa Ekas buana merupakan para pembudidaya rumput laut jenis Eucheuma cottonii. Dimana Keterampilan budidaya rumput laut didapatkan secara otodidak dan terun temurun sehingga sebagian besar tidak mengerti tentang teknik budidaya yang baik dan benar. Oleh karena itu perlunya masyarakat Desa Ekas Buana diberikan penambahan ilmu budidaya rumput laut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan. Masyarakat sasaran adalah para pembudidaya rumput laut di Desa Ekas Buana Kecamatan Jerowaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan orang dewasa. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan maka dapat disimpulkan kegiatan penyuluhan dengan tema pengkayaan pengetahuan pembudidaya rumput laut tentang kedalaman yang optimal bagi pertumbuhan dan kualitas rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii di Desa Ekas Buana lombok timur telah menambah pengetahuan mereka akan kedalaman optimal untuk budidaya rumput laut yang baik agar dapat menghasilkan kualitas yang baik. Selain itu masyarakat disadarkan bahwa perilaku menjaga kelestarian dan kebersihan pantai akan mendukung kegiatan budidaya yang mereka lakukan.

Abstract

Rote Ndao waters are known as a source of diversity of coral reefs in TNP Laut Sawu. Coral reefs in the area suffered considerable damage due to human activities. This study aims to determine the latest health conditions of the coral reef area in the northern region of Rote Island. Data monitoring was carried out using the underwater photo transect (UPT) method at 12 stations in the north of Rote Island. The percentage of coral reef bottom substrate cover was obtained by processing photo data using the Coral Point Count with Excel Extension-CPCe application. In addition, an assessment of the benthic component was also carried out based on the categories of percentage cover of fleshy seaweed, cover of rubble and hard coral.  The results show condition of coral reefs based on percent cover is in the low category with a hard coral (HC) value of 9.02 ± 7.16%. The highest average value of hard coral cover was found at the Tesabela station. The three highest mean values for the bottom substrate cover type at the observation sites were dead coral with algae (DCA) 32.91 ± 19.5%; Algae assemblage (FS) 17.50 ± 19.27% and Sand (S) 17.43 ± 8.91%. The health condition of coral reefs based on the benthic component shows that the coral reef ecosystem is in a damaged condition and it is difficult to recover if it is disturbed. Necessary to carry out good and efficient management in the future, namely by reducing human activities without causing damage to coral reefs and finding ways for the community to continue to benefit economically from coral reef areas in the Sewu Marine National Park.
