Abstract

AbstractEducation is an effort to produce quality of human resources. Formal and informal education are away of cultural inheritance to the younger generations therefore their cultural traditions can survive and develop in the midst of Indonesian society. One of the traditions that live in Bali with traditional education system is the Materuna Nyoman tradition. The Materuna Nyoman tradition is a series of ceremonies that has the aim of changing the status of teenage stage to adults stage according to custom. During the procession of a series of ceremonies is rich of meaningful education that form the character of adolescents into personal and responsible characters. Materuna Nyoman tradition needs to be educated to young leaners in Tenganan Pegringsingan to determine changes in the character of adolescents in Materuna Nyoman's education. This study was a qualitative research with an ethnographic research approach. Data was collected using the observation method, interview method, literature method. Collected data was analyzed using the interpretive descriptive analysis method. The analysis was carried out during and after data collection. With the activity steps to reduce data, present data, and carry out verification to make conclusions. The results showed that: (1) the process of the Nyoman Materuna series, namely Maajak-ajakan, Melali, Basen Pamit, Padewaraan or kagedong, Matamiang, Malegar, Ngintarang Katekung, Namiu Katamiu, Ngejot Gede, Ngetog, Katinggah. The characters formed in the participants of Materuna Nyoman are responsible for themselves and the village environment.Keywords: Materuna Nyoman Tradition, Education, Character.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia in March 2020 experienced significant turmoil, this was due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19. Learning that was initially carried out face-to-face, was then carried out online by applying or using more effective learning media. One of them is by using Adobe Flash Professional CS6. The researcher uses a Research and Development (R&D) model with a 4-D (four D) model through the development stages including Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results showed that the media feasibility level which was validated by equipment experts showed a feasibility level with a percentage of 88.75%. Meanwhile, the feasibility level of the material expert shows the feasibility level with a percentage of 93.75%. The responses given by educators and students are carried out by conducting product trials, then educators and students are asked to fill out a questionnaire using the google form application. As for the results in terms of educators responding with a percentage of 83.13% satisfying and from students getting a response with a percentage of 80.61% satisfactory.

Abstract

The law is a kind of nature of God's power that is shown in a form that can be seen and experienced by every living being without exception. This pure and eternal form of God's law, in Hinduism is called the Rta. The Law of Apostates is a pure law that is absolute transcendental with its legal form called Dharma. Rta in Hinduism became the basis of karmaphala teachings. It is this rta that regulates the consequences of human behavior as a unity invisible to man and the universe is controlled by the laws of birth (Utpeti), life (Stiti) and death (Pralina), and no one can avoid the law. If this Rta is violated or not obeyed according to its rules then there will be disharmony in this life, disasters will occur everywhere, and destruction will come again and again. people who follow the law taught by sacred libraries and follow sacred customs gain notoriety in this world and after death receive infinite happiness.Keywords: Rta, Law, Brahman, Consciousness

Abstract

Wayang (puppet) is a relic of the community life sector which was condensed because it was sacred or considered sacred. the tradition of sapuh leger puppet show is a cultural heritage of Balinese life which is traditional and considered sacred, so it includes wali (part of the ceremony) held for religious ceremonies (manusia yajna), namely for children/people born in wuku wayang.Tumpek Wayang is one of the puppets Hindu aesthetic day in Bali because it is believed in the Tumpek Wayang is a manifestation of Sang Hyang Iswara so that for his analysis and efforts humans are able to be creative in realizing Aikyam, Ciwam, Sundaram. The ritual activity as a form of gratitude for Sang Hyang Taksu, which is often symbolized by the shadow puppet ceremony, because it contains various elements of art or total theater, in this art, all the existence and essence of the arts have been included. The meaning of the Tumpek Wayang, As we know life in the world is always covered by two forces called Rwa Bineda, which of course exist on the side of human life, by reflecting on tattwa, religious philosophy is able to bring human life to be more dignified. Because the teachings or philosophies of religion will be able to enlighten the mind which will also be able to create one's morality for the better.Keywords: Teacher, Professionalism, Quality of Education

Abstract

Education, economy, science and technology have experienced significant changes, this has an influence on all aspects of people's lives, especially in the order of individual behavior both positively and negatively. In order to create harmony in social behavior to respond to this development, it is necessary to have a conceptual context that is used as a guide or attitude, one of which is Asih which is love or compassion in Tri Parartha can be implemented by generation Z with supporting factors, namely the teachings of Tat Twam Asi, which means I am you, you are me. Tat Twam Asi's teachings teach to treat others the way you want to be treated. As for the example of the implementation of Asih's teachings, getting used to saying greetings, bowing when passing other people or older people as a form of respect and appreciation. In addition, Asih's teachings can be implemented through the local wisdom of Hindus in Bali, namely Manyama Braya or Matetulung. Abstract

Siwa Nataraja as the core of character education is applied directly or indirectly, by giving an important role in building character values. Siwa Nataraja as a sacred figure as the core of character education also serves to instill a spiritual sense of religion, especially Hinduism. The continuity of the learning process with the quantity of material provided and the professionalism of the educators in conveying the meaning and content of the artistic values contained in the narrative of Siwa Nataraja. Siwa Nataraja is an effort to find truth, purity, harmony, through art (satyam, siwam, sundaram).
