Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of influencer marketing, digital marketing, and brand image on consumer purchase intention on the Tokopedia e-commerce platform. A quantitative research method with a replication approach was conducted in Batam City, Riau Islands, involving 204 Tokopedia users as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysed using SPSS version 26. The findings indicate that influencer marketing, digital marketing, and brand image significantly influence consumer purchase intention on Tokopedia. Data analysis shows good validity and reliability for all variables studied. Normality tests indicate that the data are normally distributed, and multicollinearity tests confirm no issues among the independent variables. These findings provide insights into the critical roles of digital marketing strategies and brand image management in influencing consumer purchasing behaviour on Tokopedia. Practical implications highlight the importance for Tokopedia to continually optimize digital marketing strategies and enhance brand image quality to support growth and competitive advantage in the competitive e-commerce market. Moreover, the study contributes to the existing literature by emphasizing the specific mechanisms through which influencer marketing and digital strategies shape consumer perceptions and behaviours in the online marketplace. Future research could explore additional variables or conduct longitudinal studies to further understand the evolving dynamics of consumer behaviour in the digital age.

Abstract

The financial aspect is one of the most important things to think about before starting a family since a family needs money to nurture and develop their family life; buying stocks, improving the quality of life, bringing children to school, and so on. Financial literacy has a very close relationship with financial management. Financial attitudes can be influenced by routine activities and the way a person works to see financial actions as good or bad by looking at his own perspective or the perspective of others; though, financial experience also contributes here. Therefore, without a good financial attitude, it will become a big difficulty in getting financial benefits for the future because these two factors are correlated to conquer short and long-term life goals. Financial Attitude and Financial Satisfaction The population in this study is the people of Batam City who have income. The number of samples is 204 respondents. The analysis tool used uses SEM with the SmartPLS 3.0 application. Questionnaire distribution is done through Google Form. The results of the study are that Financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Behavior in the people of Batam City, Financial Literacy has a significant effect on Financial satisfaction in the people of Batam City, Financial Attitude has a positive and significant effect on Financial management behavior in the people of Batam City, Financial Attitude has a positive effect. and significant to the financial satisfaction of the people of Batam City, Financial management behavior has an effect on the financial satisfaction of the people of Batam City

Abstract

Salah satu peranan penting dalam suatu perusahaan adalah sumber daya manusia. Perusahaan akan selalu berupaya memaksimalkan karyawan untuk terus meningkatkan keuntungan dan nilai bagi perusahaan, dengan tujuan dapat mejamin kesejahteraan pemilik dan karyawan. Karyawan yang disiplin bekerja dalam suatu perusahaan menjadi aset berharga bagi persiana. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap sumber daya manusia yaitu stres kerja, motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja dan kinerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh stres kerja, motivasi dan disiplin kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Philips Industries Batam. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Philips Industries Batam pada departemen MCC (Mother Child Care) yang berjumlah 603 karyawan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 241 dengan menggunakan tehnik simple random sampling. Tehnik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji kualitas data, uji hipotesis, analisis deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan program SPSS 26, hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu stres kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap terhadap kinerja karyawan, maka pada uji F yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh keterkaitan diantara Stress Kerja, Disiplin Kerja, dan Motivasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

Kajian ini menelaah keterkaitan media sosial, kepercayaan, dan citra merek dengan keputusan pembelian pada marketplace Shopee di Kota Batam. Data berasal dari 204 pengguna aktif Shopee dan terkumpul melalui kuesioner berskala Likert. Analisis berbasis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, serta regresi linier berganda memberi gambaran hubungan antarvariabel. Uji parsial memberi nilai t sebesar 5,459 untuk media sosial, 7,676 untuk kepercayaan, dan 6,045 untuk citra merek dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000, sedangkan uji simultan memberi nilai F sebesar 133,201 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,661 memperlihatkan bahwa sekitar 66,1 persen variasi keputusan pembelian dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga konstruk tersebut. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas komunikasi di media sosial, rasa aman dalam bertransaksi, serta persepsi positif atas merek berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku beli konsumen. Dalam konteks persaingan marketplace yang semakin ketat, penguatan strategi digital, transparansi layanan, dan konsistensi identitas merek menjadi faktor kunci bagi keberlanjutan kinerja platform. Hasil kajian ini memberi dasar empiris bagi pengelola marketplace dalam menata pendekatan pemasaran dan layanan yang lebih berorientasi pada kepercayaan dan pengalaman pengguna.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on strengthening the role of digital financial management in managing finances among MSME actors. Financial management in MSMEs heavily depends on the implementation of digital financial systems, which enable business actors to optimize efficiency, improve accuracy, manage cash flow and inventory, and obtain relevant financial information for decision-making. However, various challenges have hindered significant improvements in MSME performance, particularly limited understanding of financial planning and management, as well as low levels of digital literacy. MSMEs in Barelang Mega Jaya Sejati Housing are predominantly engaged in the culinary and fashion sectors, with the main issue being a lack of familiarity with digital financial applications. The implementation method consisted of training, mentoring, and periodic evaluations at the end of each session to identify obstacles and determine necessary follow-up actions. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in recording and preparing simple financial reports using digital applications. This activity has contributed positively to enhancing digital financial literacy and promoting household economic independence. Practically, this program demonstrates that a hands-on mentoring-based training approach using simple digital applications can serve as an effective model to improve MSME financial management capacity. This community service model also offers novelty through the integration of financial literacy and digital literacy simultaneously and has the potential to be replicated in other MSME communities with similar characteristics by adjusting to their level of digital literacy and business types.

Abstract

Human resources are considered as important assets in a company. Human resource management (HRM) has the responsibility to develop positive employee behavior and optimize the best performance for the company and the employees themselves. Employee performance includes the work methods used to achieve results and individual achievements in completing the tasks given. This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline, work motivation, and career advancement on the performance of Alfamart employees in Batam City. The population of the study was Alfamart employees in Batam City with a sample of 110 respondents selected randomly. The research method applied in this study uses a quantitative method conducted through a survey by distributing questionnaires. This research test uses validity tests, multicollinearity tests, reliability, coefficient of determination, and hypotheses. Data processing is carried out by applying multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 30 software. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously work discipline, work motivation, and career advancement have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This study confirms that increasing work discipline, work motivation and career advancement opportunities can effectively improve employee performance. The practical implications of this study suggest that to maximize employee performance, Alfamart management should focus on improving work discipline through firm policies, increasing motivation with appropriate rewards, and offering clear career advancement prospects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana kualitas produk, citra merek, dan tingkat kepercayaan berkontribusi dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian skincare Sariayu di Kota Batam. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan karakteristik deskriptif, yang berfokus pada pengukuran hubungan antarvariabel secara objektif dan teruji. Populasi penelitian mencakup pengguna produk skincare Sariayu di Kota Batam dengan jumlah yang tidak teridentifikasi secara pasti. Penetapan sampel dilakukan melalui perhitungan Jacob Cohen sehingga diperoleh 204 responden, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan pengalaman penggunaan produk. Proses analisis data dilakukan melalui pengujian instrumen penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, serta penerapan analisis regresi linier berganda dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Citra merek juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Selain itu, kepercayaan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian skincare Sariayu. Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk, citra merek, dan kepercayaan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian skincare Sariayu di Kota Batam.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the level of influence of brand image, product quality, and advertising creativity on purchasing decisions for The Originote in Batam City. This study uses a quantitative approach. The sample size was 204 respondents, namely consumers who have purchased and used The Originote products in the Sagulung area, Batam City. The research data were obtained from primary sources, then processed using SPSS software version 29. The results of the analysis show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for The Originote in Batam City. Product quality is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, advertising creativity has a positive and significant impact on these purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, brand image, product quality, and advertising creativity together have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for The Originote in Batam City.
