Abstract

The prototype of an automatic water tank filling system based on a sonoff smart switch that works based on the volume of water level in a tank based on a sonoff smart switch has been successfully created. This study aims to determine the working principle of the sonoff switch and automatic water tank filling system. The water sensor used in this study is a float switch type that works based on changes in the value of the high volume of the tank water. For automatic filling of the water tank, a sonoff smart switch and also a float switch has been used as a switch to drain and disconnect the electric current to the pump. The design results show that this automatic water tank filling system can work well, where if the water tank level is below 20% then the water pump will turn "ON" and if the water level in the tank is above 90% then the water pump will turn "OFF".

Abstract

Testing of 3 phase induction motors with a variety of wire diameters. First, find out the ideal wire size on an induction motor. Second, ratio of the power used on an induction motor with different winding wire sizes. Third, to find out the torque produced by an induction motor with different wire winding sizes. Then, The induction motor test was performed by taking the power data used on two motors with a diameter of 0.6 mm and 0.5 mm winding wire, RPM data and torque produced by an induction motor with a diameter of 0.6 mm and 0.5 mm. So, we can get the results the induction motor with a diameter of 0.6 mm wire uses as maximum power of 549.10 Watt or more than the induction motor with a diameter of a wire wound of 0.5 mm which only uses a maximum power of 345.95 Watt, the wire diameter induction motor winding 0.6 mm produces a maximum torque of 746.92 Nm or greater than an induction motor with a diameter of 0.5 mm winding wire which only produces a maximum torque of 383.97 Nm. So, It can be conclude that the more number of revolutions per minute (RPM), the torque produced will be smaller, then, the greater the torque produced, the more power is used.

Abstract

Sistem kontrol pompa pengisian air yang saat ini digunakan pada gedung Graha Dayaguna – PT. JIEP menggunakan konsep open loop tanpa adanya umpan balik dari sistem pengisian sehingga cenderung tidak efisien. Optimalisasi sistem perlu dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dengan cara menambahkan komponen water level control dengan menggunakan 3 elektroda berfungsi sebagai sensor level yang diletakkan dalam bak penampungan air. Simulasi menggunakan software EKTS menunjukkan bahwa water level control dengan menggunakan elektroda dapat memonitor ketersediaan pasokan air. Implementasi dari penerapan water level control diyakini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi.

Abstract

Especially ornamental fish farmers. This bottle has a function as a medium for freshwater ornamental fish containers. hardware bottle cutting tool to be controlled using programming software using an arduino microcontroller with the help of an infrared sensor. This Arduino microcontroller will make it easier for users to calculate the bottles that have been cut and the cost of cutting bottles that will be displayed on the 20 x 4 LCD without having to calculate manually which will take more time. In addition to the many features obtained by the owner/user, they can also benefit from the sale of bottles that will be traded to freshwater ornamental fish farmers. With this innovation, besides being able to simplify human tasks, it can also educate the user community so that they can innovate for the development of the ornamental fishery sector.

Abstract

Aquatik Pelangi Berkah (APB) merupakan kelompok usaha perikanan yang berfokus pada perikanan air tawar, jenis ikan terdiri ikan untuk konsumsi dan ikan hias. Saat ini, pembudidaya ikan menggunakan listrik yang bersumber dari PLN sebagai sumber listrik utama, yang mana  jarak antara tambak dan sumbernya sangat jauh. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk merancang sistem PLTS di APB dan memberikan efisiensi kepada mitra. Energi listrik yang dipasang berdekatan dengan kolam ini berasal dari PLTS, yang mampu menghasilkan energi listrik sebesar 450 VA. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mampu membantu mitra agar pelaksanaan usahanya lebih efesien, menekan biaya operasional serta diharapkan juga memberi manfaat dan pengetahuan mengenai energi terbarukan khususnya PLTS.

Abstract

Abstrak: POKDAKAN Pelangi Aquatic menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam optimalisasi produksi dan pemasaran hasil budidaya ikan air tawar, seperti perubahan kualitas kolam akibat pergantian musim, produksi pakan yang tidak efisien, serta keterbatasan pemasaran digital. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing melalui pendampingan teknologi, termasuk instalasi sistem PLTS (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya) off-grid kapasitas 1 kW, mesin aerator, pelatihan digital marketing, serta pengemasan modern POKDAKAN Pelangi Aquatic merupakan kelompok pembudidaya ikan air tawar yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Aur Kenali, Kecamatan Telanaipura, Kota Jambi yang terdiri dari lima orang pengurus dan belasan anggota. POKDAKAN ini fokus pada budidaya ikan air tawar jenis ikan hias dan bibit ikan konsumsi… Metode yang diterapkan meliputi survei lapangan, pengadaan alat, pelatihan dan pendampingan sertaevaluasi. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan hasil interview dengan mitra serta pengamatan langsung dilapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan efisiensi, kapasitas produksi, dan pengetahuan mitra terhadap teknologi ramah lingkungan. Kapasitas produksi mitra meningkat sebesar 42,46%, peningkatan variasi jenis ikan yang diproduksi sebesar 40%, serta penurunan biaya modal usaha mitra sebesar 10,77%. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti birokrasi perizinan dan keterbatasan fasilitas lokal, program ini berhasil meningkatkan daya saing usaha. Dampak positif berupa efisiensi biaya operasional dan perluasan pasar digital diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keberlanjutan usaha POKDAKAN.Abstract: POKDAKAN Pelangi Aquatic faces various challenges in optimizing the production and marketing of freshwater aquaculture, such as seasonal changes affecting pond quality, inefficient feed production, and limited digital marketing. This community service program aims to enhance productivity and competitiveness through technology assistance, including the installation of an off-grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system with a 1 kW capacity, aerator machines, digital marketing training, and modern packaging techniques. The methods applied encompass field surveys, equipment procurement, training, and evaluations. The results demonstrate improved energy efficiency, production capacity, and partner awareness of eco-friendly technologies. Despite challenges such as licensing bureaucracy and limited local facilities, the program has successfully boosted business competitiveness. Positive impacts, including operational cost savings and market expansion through digital platforms, are expected to enhance the sustainability of POKDAKAN's operations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membuat Modul Trainer Replika Lift Barang 3 Lantai menggunakan PLC sebagai komponen utama yang pengembangannya dapat diaplikasikan pada gedung bertingkat untuk memudahkan operasional yang dilakukan para pekerjanya. Replika lift barang 3 lantai ini juga menambahkan push button yang berada pada kerangka lift itu sendiri. Replika lift 3 lantai ini dapat bekerja dengan baik menggunakan PLC sebagai kontrol atau kendali sistemnya. PLC yang digunakan adalah tipe FX3U-14MR dengan 8 input dan 6 output. Rancang bangun ini juga dilengkapi dengan komponen limit switch yang ditempatkan disetiap lantai sebagai penanda posisi lift berada. Motor AC 1 Phase juga digunakan sebagai penggerak naik atau turunnya lift.

Abstract

Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is a processed product from coconut flesh in the form of a clear, tasteless liquid with a distinctive coconut aroma. VCO is obtained through processing coconut milk with several methods, namely the gradual cooking method, the oil fishing method, and the fermentation method. Of these three methods, gradual heating is the most commonly used. This process requires a stable heating device to produce quality VCO. Therefore, to maintain the stability of the heating, precise control is required in the gradual heating method. The heating device is designed to streamline the processing process with an IoT-based control system. This VCO processing device is designed with a temperature control system using an NTC sensor with a high accuracy of ±1.5°C to ensure temperature stability during the coconut milk heating process using a dual-core ESP32 microcontroller that has WiFi connectivity features, thus enabling integration into the Internet of Things (IoT) system for remote monitoring. For the heating process, this device is equipped with a 220V 400W heating element controlled by a Solid State Relay (SSR), so that the temperature can be precisely controlled in the range of 60–90°C.
