Abstract

This study aims to map the existing conditions of MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) destinations in Depok City, analyse the attributes of MICE destinations in Depok City as an alternative to MICE destinations in West Java, and formulate a strategy for developing MICE destinations in Depok City in West Java. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with field data surveys or direct observation to the city of Depok. As well as interviews with EOs, hotels, malls, and the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism. The results obtained from the MICE destination components have been fulfilled, all of which only need improvement from the aspects of MICE accessibility, MICE attractions and HR. Meanwhile, the attributes of MICE destinations in Depok City as an alternative MICE destination in West Java have been fulfilled. Everything needs to improve accessibility, extra opportunities, information, meetings, accommodation facilities and meeting facilities. Based on calculations using the SWOT approach, the City of Depok as an alternative destination for MICE in West Java is in the quadrant I position. This shows a very favourable situation for Depok City to carry out aggressive growth/growth. Then the results of the IFE and EFE get the value of strength and opportunity (SO) 5.51, strength and threat (ST) 3.16, weakness and opportunity (WO) 2.9, and weakness and threat (WT) 0, 55. The strategy that has the highest value is SO 5.51.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi STP dan bauran pemasaran di Godongijo dan menganalisa output STP dan Bauran Pemasaran di Godongijo dalam menyusun paket Virtual Field Trip. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif serta melakukan wawancara dengan Manajer Divisi Ecotainment (Wisata Edukasi) dan Digital Marketing PT.Godong Ijo Asri, Staff/ Pemandu Divisi Ecotainment/Wisata Edukasi serta wisatawan domestik yang berkunjung langsung ke Godongijo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa identifikasi STP Virtual Field Trip Godongijo didominasi oleh kalangan wisatawan sekolah yang memiliki minat dalam pembelajaran edukasi tumbuhan dan hewan serta menyukai kegiatan pembuatan kerajinan yang didominasi oleh wisatawan yang berasal dari kota Depok. Sedangkan hasil bauran pemasaran di Godongijo sudah memenuhi aspek Process, Promotion dan Price. Maka dalam pengembangan paket virtual field trip berdasarkan STP dan Bauran Pemasaran terdiri dari Family Back to Nature, Virtual Camp Godongijo, Eco-friendly creativity and culture for adult.

Abstract

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many business sectors have been disrupted, including the tourism business which hitted the most. This research aim to examine the strategy of Obaja Tour as one of established travel agencies in dealing with the crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of research used is qualitative methods with a descriptive analysis approach. The data collection obtained by conducting interviews, literature study, and observation. The collected data was validated by triangulation method. The findings show that Obaja Tour managed to survive and still does their function as a travel agency during the pandemic. Obaja Tour is currently in the Resolution and Feedback stage, by continuing to carry out activities such as previous operations and using Adaptive Strategies to facing the crisis through making slight modifications of the company's operations by creating new types of business such as Health Care, Food Service, and Cycling Equipment. Abstract

The development of a tourist village is influenced by institutional aspects, tourist attractions and infrastructure. One important component in the success of tourism is an institution. The purpose of this study is to analyze the institutional role of Hambalang Village to empower the community in providing homestays, developing UMKM, culinary tourism, religious tourism, and sports tourism. This research method using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. This research data collection method through observation, interviews, and literature study. The data sources in this study were obtained from Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities obtained from Hambalang Village institutions which included the Village Government, BUMDes, LPM, and BPD. The results of the analysis show that there is an institutional role in Hambalang Village in the development of UMKM, culinary tourism, religious tourism, and sport tourism. However, it cannot be ruled out that there is no institutional role for Hambalang Village in providing homestays. Efforts to develop tourism through community empowerment in Hambalang Village in the development of UMKM and religious tourism that play a major role are the Village Government and BPD. Meanwhile BUMDes and LPM focus on culinary tourism. While community empowerment for sport tourism is mostly carried out by the Village Government.

Abstract

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 Virus. In Beginning of 2020, World Health Organization has declared as Pandemic all around the world. It has paralysed economic activities which include Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition and forced all governments in the world, including Indonesia set a policy of controlling and preventing COVID-19.This policy force of the activity New Normal in Indonesia. Based on statement by Ministry of Tourism and Economic Creative in 2020 there some 84,8% MICE activities in Indonesia was cancelled. Ministry of tourism and economic creative made policy for reduce impact of pandemic through Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability for MICE. DKI Jakarta is the object of this research. The researcher can collected 38 respondens of Venue in DKI Jakarta such as Hotel, Convention Center, Resort and Apartement used online survey. Research Methodology use GAP Analysis to compare between the application of health protocol that done by Venue MICE or against a standard applied in guidance of CHSE for MICE in Indonesia. There are 8(eight) criteria in guidance of CHSE for MICE. The research result showed that 1(one) criteria is food and beverages providers fulfilled the achievements 100% . And for 7(seven) criteria in positions of 75% - < 100% it means the current of Venue MICE in the standard assessment result with the standard applied in guidance CHSE is will fulfilled. This should served as reference Venue MICE in DKI Jakarta can organize MICE activities in Era of New Normal.
