Abstract

To do fish farming, you need to know the types of fish to be cultivated. This is because the type of fish will affect how it is handled and managed. Therefore, this study aims to develop an image processing system for classifying fish species, especially cultivated fish, with a combination of the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The feature extraction used is feature extraction based on its color and shape. The K-NN algorithm can group certain objects considering the shortest distance from the object. According to the best criteria, the PCA method is employed in the meanwhile to decrease and keep the majority of the relevant data from the original characteristics. On the basis of the test results, the accuracy value obtained is 85%. The use of a combination of the K-NN and PCA algorithms in the image classification of fish species in the research that has been done has been shown to be capable of increasing accuracy by 7.5% compared to only using the K-NN algorithm.

Abstract

In the Ayem Bareng Duck Livestock Group, the process of feeding currently used is still manual, namely by placing feed in the feed storage container provided in the duck cage. This becomes an obstacle for farmers because the feeding time is done 2-3 times a day, because it will take time and cost to get to the location of the duck coop. With the obstacles experienced, the author proposes to make a Prototype of a tool that can feed ducks automatically, on a scheduled basis and the amount of feed given can also be regulated. The components used in the tool are Arduino UNO, DC motor, Bluetooth Module HC-06 and others. The delivery method used is Prototype Evolutioner. The result of this research is a Prototype tool that can feed ducks automatically. With a feeding process that runs automatically and on a scheduled basis, the feeding will be regular, timely and the amount of feed given will also be precise and consistent. The process of setting the schedule and number of feeds can be done using an Android smartphone that is connected to the device via a Bluetooth connection. Another benefit of automatic feeding is that the time and costs incurred by farmers for feeding livestock will be less. The results of the research are tools that are able to feed automatically and on a scheduled basis.

Abstract

Technology is currently developing into automation in the form of intelligent systems and the Internet of Things. These technologies will be related to components, one of which is a microcontroller. Today, there are more and more choices of microcontrollers with various specifications. Due to the large variety of microcontroller board products available on the market, one must understand one by one the specifications of the device to be purchased. It takes a long time for someone to make a choice. The research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) to assist in choosing a microcontroller board, so that it can assist in determining the best alternative appropriately and according to needs. The ARAS approach can select the best alternative based on the utility level of each alternative in determining the ranking of the best alternative or alternative. Based on the results of the case study conducted, the highest utility value was NodeMCU ESP8266 with a value of 0.8873, followed by FireBeetle ESP32 with a value of 0.8357, Arduino Uno R3 with a value of 0.5815 and Quark D2000 with a value of 0.5298. The calculation results obtained by the system by calculating manually show the acquisition of the same value. In addition, based on the results of black box testing, it shows that all the features tested have worked well

Abstract

Technological advances in the globalization era, widely utilized in various fields, one of which is in the field of business. For example, in promotional media, the presence of augmented reality technology which is a technology that brings 3D virtual objects created using computers, into the real world of 3D. The way augmented reality works itself is by tracking markers through a camera that acts as an eye that can recognize objects and then project in real time. Therefore, the technology will be applied to this research, which discusses the application of augmented reality in smartphone brochures with FAST Corner Detection (FCD) algorithm. The purpose of using augmented reality technology in this brochure, to make the reader can see 3D objects in the brochure using the smartphone augmented reality application that can be installed on the reader's smartphone. And the function of using FCD algorithm itself is to recognize markers by tracking the central points (angles) in the marker image. The test result of this study is that the application can be used well to scan markers at a sufficient intensity of light to a lot of light and with a distance of ≤50 cm - <80 cm from the AR camera to the marker.

Abstract

The development of information technology has transformed people's behavior in accessing online entertainment services. One of the widely used innovations is Tix.id, a cinema ticket booking application developed by PT Nusantara Elang Sejahtera, part of the Emtek Group, in 2018 in collaboration with Bioskop XXI. This study aims to analyze the level of user acceptance of Tix.id using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which includes the variables Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), and Attitude Toward Using (ATU). The analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with AMOS software based on questionnaire data from active users in Jakarta. The results indicate that all relationships among variables are positive and significant, with Chi-square = 38.06; df = 41; p = 0.60213; RMSEA = 0.000, indicating that the model demonstrates a good fit. These findings suggest that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have a strong influence on users’ attitudes toward using the Tix.id application.
