Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan dalam novel Hujan dan Teduh karangan Wulan Dewatra dengan menggunakan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan 120 data yang berpotensi ditemukan citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan, yaitu 102 data yang menunjukkan aspek fisik tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek fisik, terdiri atas: jenis kelamin, usia, keadaan tubuh, dan ciri wajah terdapat 17 data (16,6%). Citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek psikis, terdiri atas: mentalitas, ukuran moral, dapat membedakan yang benar dan salah, temperamen, keinginan, perasaan pribadi, sikap, perilaku, dan tingkat kecerdasan terdapat 71 data (69,6%). Citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek sosial, terdiri atas: pekerjaan, peran dalam masyarakat, tingkat pendidikan, pandangan hidup, kepercayaan, ideologi, bangsa, suku, dan kehidupan pribadi terdapat 14 data (13,7%). Citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek psikis menjadi data yang paling dominan karena fokus pengarang yang memperlihatkan perubahan citra psikis di dalam diri tokoh utamanya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan dalam novel Hujan dan Teduh karangan Wulan Dewatra memperlihatkan suatu pandangan sosial terhadap perempuan.Kata kunci: citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan, novel Hujan dan Teduh, kritik sastra feminis

Abstract

Through advertisements aired on television, electronic media, online, and printed media, it is easy for the public to obtain product information from various brands displaying attractive images, visuals, and texts. Indeed the most significant influence in advertising is the use of text that can change the perceptions and perspectives of potential consumer communities. The study aims to analyze the advertisement of beauty products of two competing brands in gaining sympathy from the public potential customers. Despite the fact that some research studies have attempted to reveal the ideology of the beauty advertisements from a critical discourse analysis perspective, little has been done to uncover the comparative studies on local and international beauty products. To obtain the data, this study examined the advertisements of two competing beauty products that have been displayed on online media (YouTube). These advertisements were analyzed by using Critical Analysis (CDA) by Norman Fairclough. CDA was divided into three interrelated dimensions: texts, discourse practices and socio-cultural practices. The findings revealed that the texts in the advertisements were formulated in such a way for the purpose of persuading and attracting the sympathy of potential buyers. In addition, the texts were also created by elevating existing realities and shaping certain realities in society so that the advertisements achieved the ultimate goal of reaching the sympathy of the potential buyers.

Abstract

The analysis of this novel aims to describe the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of Si Anak Pemberani (SAP) novel by Tere Liye and the implications in learning literature in junior high school. This research used descriptive qualitative with content analysis. The results show that the theme in the SAP novel is child courage to defend her village; using a progressive plot by offering the setting of the place, time, and atmosphere; the character's personality is displayed based on dramatic technique; using the main character's viewpoint; a comparative figure of speech as language style, contradiction, satire, and affirmation; there are mandates to protect the environment and love parents, as well as extrinsic elements in the form of the author's cultural, economic, religious, and political background and values displayed.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the form and function of social interaction in six short stories called Potongan Cerita di Kartu Pos by Agus Noor. The qualitative descriptive method is used by using content analysis technique. The results show that: (1) the social interactions in short stories are associative social and dissociative social interactions, the dissociative social interaction is dominant in social interaction; and (2) the embodiment of this social interaction serves as the presence of social life in the society in short story as one of fictions form. Keywords: form, function, social interaction, Potongan Cerita di Kartu Pos Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud dan fungsi interaksi sosial dalam keenam cerpen pada kumpulan cerpen Potongan Cerita di Kartu Pos karangan Agus Noor. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) wujud interaksi sosial dalam cerpen-cerpen pada kumpulan cerpen ini berupa interaksi sosial asosiatif dan disosiatif, interaksi sosial yang dominan yaitu interaksi sosial disosiatif; dan (2) perwujudan interaksi sosial ini berfungsi sebagai penghadiran kehidupan sosial di masyarakat dalam cerpen sebagai salah satu bentuk fiksi. Abstract

Learning activities and module development are done with learning patterns and integrated community empowerment for adult learning residents. Another learning pattern to support is the construction of learning networks so that learners do not stop learning after the program is completed. In the process traced the problematic of the development of learning literacy module of elementary school age children. The result is that the learners who are the parents understand the slowness in the ability to read and write their children. This activity works because participants can arrange modules even in simple form. Keywords: problematic issues, modules, literacy learning, children Abstrak Aktivitas belajar dan pengembangan modul dilakukan dengan pola pembelajaran dan pemberdayaan masyarakat secara terpadu bagi warga belajar berusia dewasa. Pola pembelajaran lainnya untuk menunjang yaitu pembangunan jaringan belajar sehingga warga belajar tidak berhenti belajar setelah program selesai. Dalam proses itu ditelusuri problematika pengembangan modul pembelajaran baca tulis anak usia sekolah dasar. Hasilnya yaitu para warga belajar yang merupakan para orangtua memahami kelambatan pada kemampuan membaca dan menulis anaknya. Abstract

The formation of a community of practitioners in this activity is relevant to advancing the literacy movement in Indonesia. The Community of Practitioners 24 (KP-24) empowers the cultivation of character education, environmental education, and family education through the literacy movement. The method of implementing this literacy movement activity is program planning, program implementation, and evaluation. In carrying out this activity, the community building team partnered with expert trainers of the Mobilizing School Program and the GAIN-IETTI Global TESOL Academy organization. The formation of the Community of Practitioners 24 (KP-24) to gradually spread the literacy movement throughout Indonesia through various programs initiated in this activity and will continue to be carried out regularly and systematically. Komunitas Praktisi 24 (KP-24) memberdayakan penanaman pendidikan karakter, pendidikan lingkungan, dan pendidikan keluarga melalui gerakan literasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan gerakan literasi ini yaitu perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, dan evaluasi. Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, tim pembentukan komunitas bermitra dengan para pelatih ahli Program Sekolah Penggerak yang dan organisasi GAIN-IETTI Global TESOL Academy. Pembentukan Komunitas Praktisi 24 (KP-24) untuk menyebarluaskan gerakan literasi ke seluruh Indonesia secara bertahap melalui berbagai program yang diinisiasi dalam kegiatan ini dan akan terus dilanjutkan secara berkala dan tersistem. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the emotional categorization of the main character in the novel Winter Dreams by Maggie Tiojakin based on David Krech's theory of emotional categorization with a literary psychology approach. The research method used is descriptive qualitative content analysis techniques. The validity and reliability of the data were obtained by semantic validity and triangulation with experts. The results of this study describe the findings of David Krech's emotional categorization of the main character "Nicky. David Krech's theory of emotional categorization as an appropriate theoretical basis for dissecting the emotional categorization of the main character "Nicky" in this novel. Some show the findings of emotions that are interrelated with one another. This shows that the emotional classification that has been detailed by Krech is proven through novel quotations so that this research confirms the existence of Krech's truth about emotions.Keywords: main character emotions, David Krech, Winter Dreams, Maggie Tiojakin, psychology of literature

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini yaitu menghasilkan buku cerita atau komik anak. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini, untuk membedayakan mutu kehidupan masyarakat di pemberdayaan guru sekolah dasar dalam penulisan cerita anak di Desa Tanimulya, Kecamatan Ngamprah, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Kontribusi mendasar pada khalayak sasaran yaitu (1) bagi guru sekolah dasar dapat menulis cerita anak yang relevan sesusai kebutuhan peserta didik; (2) bagi masyarakat dapat meningkatkan buku bacaan anak untuk mendukung literasi anak; dan (3) bagi praktisi maupun akademisi dapat diperoleh cerita anak yang relevan dengan kebutuhan anak dan masyarakat berdasarkan situasi dan kondisi terkini yang diciptakan guru sekolah dasar.
