Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk SP-36 dan pupuk kotoran kambing terhadap karakteristik agronomis tanaman aren genjah yang terbaik dan hasil tanaman kakao sebagai tanaman sela serta intensitas serangan hama dan penyakit pada penanaman sistem jalur. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan di Desa Badak Mekar Kecamatan Muara Badak Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dan diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Percobaan faktorial terdiri dari 2 faktor, sebagai faktor pertama adalah  pupuk SP-36 (p) terdiri dari 3 taraf: p0 = 0 kg tanaman-1 (kontrol); p1 = 0.4 kg tanaman-1; p2 = 0.8 kg tanaman-1. Faktor kedua adalah pupuk kotoran kambing (k) terdiri dari 3 taraf: k0 = 0 kg tanaman-1 (kontrol); k1 = 7.5 kg tanaman-1; k2 = 15 kg tanaman-1. Variabel yang diamati meliputi: 1) tanaman aren genjah: a. batang: lilitan batang, b. daun: panjang tangkai daun, jumlah daun (pelepah), panjang racis daun, jumlah anak daun, panjang anak daun, lebar anak daun, panjang tangkai pelepah, tebal tangkai pelepah, 2) tanaman kakao: hasil buah kakao dan intensitas serangan hama dan penyakit 3) analisis sifat kimia tanah : pH, C-organik, N, P, K, Kation basa, Kation asam, KTK dan Kejenuhan basa, 4) analisis mikroorganisme tanah. Data dianalisis dengan sidik ragam dan jika terdapat perbedaan nyata maka dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5 %. Sedangkan analisis karakteristik kimia tanah menggunakan kriteria penilaian status kimia tanah dan status kesuburan tanah dari Pusat Penelitian Tanah.Hasil penelitian pemberian pupuk SP-36 menunjukkan berbeda sangat nyata  terhadap karakteristik batang tanaman aren genjah yaitu lilitan batang umur 6 bulan setelah perlakuan (bsp) dan 9 bsp serta berbeda nyata terhadap karakteristik daun tanaman aren genjah yaitu panjang tangkai daun umur 3 bsp, 6 bsp dan 9 bsp, panjang racis daun umur 9 bsp dan jumlah pelepah umur 9 bsp. Pemberian pupuk SP-36 dengan dosis 0.8 kg tanaman-1 (p2) memberikan pertumbuhan tanaman aren genjah yang terbaik.Perlakuan pupuk kotoran kambing serta interaksi antara pupuk SP-36 dan pupuk kotoran kambing berbeda tidak nyata terhadap tanaman aren genjah pada semua variabel pengamatan dan hasil buah  kakao.Hasil pengamatan rata-rata intensitas serangan hama pada buah kakao adalah 58.94% dan termasuk kedalam kategori rusak sedang. Sedangkan rata-rata intensitas serangan penyakit pada buah kakao adalah 33.34% dan termasuk kedalam kategori rusak ringan.Hasil analisis sifat kimia tanah menunjukkan pH tanah 5.49 (masam), kandungan C organik 3.51% (sedang), C/N rasio 17.13 (tinggi), N 0.20 (rendah), P 4.00 (rendah) dan K 100.68 (tinggi).Hasil analisis mikroorganisme tanah menunjukkan lahan penelitian teridentifikasi bakteri terdiri dari 2 Famili yaitu Azotobacteraceae dan Bacillus, jamur dengan genus Trichoderma serta Nematoda terdiri dari 3 genus yaitu Rotylenchus, Rabditis dan Dorylaimus. Mikroorganisme tanah tersebut berperan sebagai biofertilizer, biofungisida dan dekomposer.

Abstract

Jeruk lemon adalah buah yang berpotensi sebagai sumber vitamin C. Buah jeruk lemon selain untuk pelengkap masakan, juga sebagai minuman yang menyegarkan dan menyehatkan. Budidaya jeruk lemon relatif mudah dan dapat dilakukan di polibag. Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan budidaya jeruk lemon di polibag dan manfaatnya untuk meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dan kesehatan keluarga. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan ceramah dan praktek. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan berjalan dengan baik dan diikuti oleh peserta penyuluhan untuk mendapat pengetahuan tentang budidaya jeruk lemon di polibag dan manfaatnya untuk meningkatkan kesehatan keluarga. Kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan keberhasilan yaitu penanaman jeruk lemon di polibag oleh para peserta penyuluhan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best concentration of ZPT and planting media on the growth of sugar palm plants in nurseries. The research was conducted at Jalan Batu Besaung, Sempaja Utara Village, Samarinda from October 2019 to April 2020. Two-factor factorial experiments were arranged in a completely randomized design with five replications. The first factor was the concentration of ZPT which consisted of four levels, namely, 0 mL L-1 , 1.5 mL L-1 , 3.0 mL L-1 , 4.5 mL L-1 . The second factor consists of four levels of planting media, namely soil (control), soil + husk (2: 1), soil + bokashi (2: 1), soil + husk + bokashi (1: 1: 1). Data were analyzed using variance and continued with the least significant difference test at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between the concentration of ZPT and planting media (ZxM) was significantly different on the growth of sugar palm in the nursery on the observation variable of the number of leaves aged 120 and 150 DAS. Best interaction is z0m2 at the age of 150 HST. The best concentration of ZPT was at a concentration of 3.0 mL LZPT-1 which showed an increase in sugar palm growth in the observation variables of leaf length, number of leaves, and stem circumference. Abstract

Seedling on Arabica coffee plants (Coffea Arabica L.) is a stage that will determine plant productivity in the field, therefore it needs to be supported by quality seeds (superior seeds), resistant to pests and diseases and response to fertilization. So it is necessary to do research on the growth of coffee seedlings on various fertilizers and cow urine. This study aims to determine the number of fertilizers (SP-36, KCl, cow manure) and cow urine on the best growth of coffee seedlings in nurseries. The research was conducted at Sempaja Village, North Samarinda District and at the Agronomy Laboratory of Faperta Unmul Samarinda in 2017. This study consisted of 4 experiments where each experiments were arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4x4 factorial experiments with two replications. The first experiment was the dose of SP-36 ) fertilizer (P) consisted of four levels, namely, 0 g polybag-1 , 5 g polybag-1 , 7 g polybag-1 , 9 g polybag-1 and cow urine concentration (S) consisted of four levels, namely, 0 mL L-1 , 250 mL L-1 , 300 mL L-1 , 350 mL L-1. The second experiment was the dose of KCl fertilizer (K) consisted of four levels, namely, 0 g polybag-1 , 4 g polybag-1 , 5 g polybag-1 , 6 g polybag-1 and cow urine concentration (S) consisted of four levels, namely, 0 mL L-1 , 150 mL L-1 , 200 mL L-1 , 250 mL L-1. The third experiment was the dose of cow manure (A) consisted of four levels, namely, 0 g polybag-1 , 250 g polybag-1 , 500 g polybag-1 , 750 g polybag-1 and cow urine concentration (S) consisted of four levels, namely, 0 mL L-1 , 75 mL L-1 , 150 mL L-1 , 225 mL L-1. Parameters observed in each study at four months after treatment included: increase in plant height, number of leaves and stem diameter, dry weight of plants, shoot dry weight, root dry weight and root crown ratio. Data were analyzed using variance and continued with the least significant difference test at 5% level. The results of the study on the application of various fertilizers (SP-36, KCl and cow manure) showed a very significantly difference to the increase in seedling height, number of leaves and stem diameter but not significantly different to plant dry weight, shoot dry weight, root weight and ratio root crown at three months after treatment. The application of cow manure can increase the yield of plant dry weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight and root crown ratio. Meanwhile, the concentration of cow urine and the interaction between each fertilizer ( SP-36, KCl and cow manure) and the concentration of cow urine were not significantly different for all parameters. Giving cow urine can increase the yield of plant dry weight, shoot dry weight, root dry weight and root crown ratio.

Abstract

Cultivation of aren genjah and cocoa with allay cropping system is a cultivation technique aimed at soil conservation and micro environment. Cultivation of plants in the field needs to get the supply of nutrients with fertilization as an effort to increase crop productivity. This study aimed to find out the response to the growth of aren genjah and cocoa plant on the application of NPK Phonska fertilizer and goat manure fertilizer with allay cropping system. The research was conducted in Badak Mekar Village Muara Badak Sub-district of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan in 2016. The research method used Randomized Block Design (RAK) and repeated 4 times. The factorial experiment includes 2 factors, the first factor is NPK Phonska (N) fertilizer consisting of 3 levels: n0 = 0 kg plant-1 (control); n1 = 0.25 kg plant-1; n2 = 0.5 kg plant-1 and the second factor is goat manure fertilizer (k) consisting of 3 levels: k0 = 0 kg plant-1 (control); k1 = 2.5 kg plant-1; k2 = 5 kg plant-1. The study consisted of 9 treatments and repeated 4 times. Parameters observed: plant height increase, diameter increase and number of midrib/leaf increase. Data were analyzed by variance and if there was a real effect it would be continued with the smallest real difference test at 5% level. The results showed that NPK Phonska fertilizer very significantly on the parameters of plant heightincrease of aren genjahand cocoa plants. The treatment of NPK Phonska fertilizer at a dosage of 0.5 kg plant-1 (n2) gives the best of plant heightincrease aren genjah and cacao.

Abstract

Cita rasa buah matoa menyerupai buah rambutan dan buah lengkeng serta buah durian. Buah matoa bernilai ekonomis bagi masyarakat Papua disebabkan cita rasa dan aroma yang khas. Hingga saat ini matoa belum dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat walaupun harganya yang mahal karena memiliki citarasa yang khas. Kelezatan buah matoa yang unik sehingga banyak diminati hingga luar daerah Papua. Buah matoa sangat potensial untuk dibudidayakan dan sebagai alternatif sumber pendapatan bagi masyarakat serta mendukung kelestarian tanaman matoa. Budidaya matoa dapat berhasil melalui teknik budidaya yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan dengan budidaya tanaman matoa sebagai upaya mendukung ketahanan pangan, kesehatan dan pendapatan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan dan pendampingan. Peserta sangat bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini, meskipun budidaya tanaman matoa memerlukan waktu 4-5 tahun untuk berbuah. Penanaman matoa di pekarangan sebagai upaya peningkatan kesehatan keluarga dan menjadi potensi pengembangan desa wisata berbasis buah lokal. Peningkatan kesehatan keluarga secara mandiri melalui lahan pekarangan perlu dikembangkan karena dapat bernilai ekonomis tinggi.
