Abstract

Sinar Bali Binakarya merupakan salah satu perusahaan penghasil beton. sebagai produsen tentunya harus menonjolkan salah satu keunggulan produknya, terutama keunggulan dari segi meningkatkan kualitas. Akan tetapi, jumlah defect yang ditemukan pada bulan Desember-Maret 2022 sebesar 158. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat defect beton U-ditch, tapi peneliti mengambail beberapa yang defect pada beton U-ditch yang dominan yaitu dibulan Februari 2022. Dengan mengaplikasikan metode Fault tree analysis (FTA). Metode ini menggunakan konsep pemikiran yang mendorong untuk mengurangi cacat dengan mencari dan menganalisis akar penyebab permasalahan yang ada sehingga dapat dicari solusi pencegahannya. Peneliti telah melakukan suatu upaya perbaikan. Karena terbatasnya waktu dan ijin dari yang bersangkutan sehingga dalam penerapan metode ini dan usulan perbaikan tidak dapat dilakukan secara keseluruhan. Hasil perbaikan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa defect pada beton U-ditch mengalami penurunan kualitas. Untuk mengurangi defect pada beton U-ditch dilakukan melalui metode : Mendefinisikan masalah dan kondisi batas dari suatu sistem yang ditinjau,Penggambaran model grafis fault tree,Mencari minimal cut set dari analisis fault tree. Melakukan analisa kualitatif dari fault tree. Dari hasil penelitian dan upaya perbaikan yang dilakukan diharapkan pihak pemilik usaha mampu melanjutkan usulan perbaikan yang dilakukan sebagai wujud keberhasilan selama studi.

Abstract

T. PLN (Persero) UPK Tambora ULPLTD Labuhan is an electricity company that uses diesel engines as prime movers, where prime movers are equipment that functions to produce mechanical energy to rotate generators. PLTD Labuhan was built in 1977 on a 1.2 hectare land on Jalan Labuhan, Garuda, Sumbawa. When founded, it had a central building, subsidiary offices and the official residence of the PLTD head. At that time, there were only two SPD (diesel generators) for this machine, namely SWD DRO 218 K (536 KW) and SWD DRO 216 (336 KW). In this study using the Fisbhone Diagram method. Determination of problems with damage to the hydrant pump using the 4 M + 1 E technique, namely Method, Material, Man, Machine and Environment. The Daigram Fisbhone approach technique produces improvement solutions from the five factors in the Fisbhone Diagram. The Fisbhone Diagram method with the 4 M + 1 E technique allows it to be applied to PT. PLN (Persero) UPK Tambora to minimize damage to the hydrant pump. But still making adjustments related to response time, when it is possible for a fire to occur in companies and buildings, a system is needed that is implemented in a state of alert, so that these companies and buildings can be said to have different functions.

Abstract

PT. YKK AP Indonesia is a company that produces aluminum sills for apartments, housing, hotels, malls, and offices. Its main products are extruded aluminum finished goods in the form of windows, doors, and curtain walls, apart from storefront aluminum bar profiles. The problem at PT YKK AP Indonesia is a large number of defects in aluminum window products. It can be seen that the types of defects are dominated by scratch defects that exceed the level of disability, which is 2.83%, where the defect limit is 2%. With the high defects in the product, the researchers focused on repairs on the highest cause of damage to aluminum window products, namely scratch defects to measure and carry out quality improvements to reduce them by using DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) on Six Sigma. This method is relevant to find out the factors that cause the biggest defective products so that corrective action can be taken as soon as possible to reduce the number of defective products. Based on the results of quality measurements on six sigma products using DMAIC calculations, an average DPMO value of 8,748.937 was obtained with an average sigma value of 3.88 sigma, which is at the sigma level of Indonesian companies. However, this value still has the opportunity to be increased to reach a value of 6 sigmas or achieve zero defects on par with world-class industries. The repair strategy is carried out by implementing preventive maintenance and repairing worn machine parts, adding protection to aluminum windows, and adding light to the production area.

Abstract

As time goes by, more and more new factories appear producing different products. The manufacturing industry is related to tools that support the creation of a corn and grain processing process. PT. Seger Agro Nusantara is a company processing agricultural products such as rice and corn. One of the tools used at PT. Seger Agro Nusantara (SAN) is a forklift to help reduce worker energy in lifting and moving goods. The problem that often occurs with forklifts is the hydraulics. Hydraulics are the main part of a forklift which functions to move, lift and move goods from one place to another. The advantages and disadvantages of hydraulics are that they can transfer large amounts of power using only relatively small components, operate smoothly, do not cause noise or unimportant vibrations in the machine, can be rotated in the reverse direction (reversible), make it easy to move heavy materials in one lift. , or moving goods up to tons in weight. And the service life is quite long, so you can save on the cost of buying new equipment. Meanwhile, the disadvantage is that it requires intensive and regular maintenance. One method that can be used to find the root cause of a problem is a fishbone diagram. Because the fishbone diagram already knows the problem but doesn't know the cause.
