Abstract

Breast tumor is one type of tumor found in the breast and most often attacks women. Based on a report from the New South Wales Breast Center Institute in the United States, Fibroadenoma mammae usually occurs in adolescent girls, namely at the age of 21-25 years. Less than 5% of Fibroadenoma mammae occurs at the age above 50 years and the prevalence is more than 29% of women affected by Fibroadenoma mammae in the world. The study was conducted in Padang from August - September 2021 with the design used was Case Control with a total sample of 94 respondents divided into two groups, namely 47 respondents in the case group experiencing Fibroadenoma mammae and 47 respondents in the control group not experiencing Fibroadenoma mammae. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Data were presented univariately and bivariately by using the chi-square test. The results showed that there was a significant relation between age at menarche with p value = 0.013 (p < 0.05) and OR = 4.336, family history p value = 0.036 (p < 0.05) and OR = 2.679 and lifestyle p = 0.007 (p < 0.05). 0.05) and OR = 3.531 with the incidence of Fibroadenoma mammae. The conclusion of this study is that there was a relation among age at menarche, family history, and lifestyle with the incidence of Fibroadenoma mammae. Abstract

Schizophrenia is a disease that affects the brain and causes strange and disturbed thoughts, perceptions, emotions, movements, and behavior. The relapse rate in schizophrenia patients is very high because due to non-adherence to taking medication, the family does not pay attention to the patient taking the drug. One way to reduce the recurrence rate in schizophrenic patients is to provide family support. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support regarding adherence to taking medication with the prevalence of recurrence in schizophrenia patients at the Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ildrem, North Sumatra Province. This study used a descriptive correlation type with a cross sectional approach. The total population of the researchers was 311 people. The sampling technique was carried out by using the Accidental sampling technique with 10% of the population so that the sample size was 31 people. Power analysis used the Spearman`s Rho test. The results of the study using the Spearman`s Rho correlation test were obtained p = 0.000 <α 0.05. This shows that there is a relationship between family support and the recurrence rate of schizophrenia patients at Prof. Dr. Mental Hospital. Muhammad Ildrem, North Sumatra Province in 2017. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between family support regarding adherence to taking medication with the prevalence of recurrence of schizophrenia patients in Prof. Dr. Mental Hospital. Muhammad Ildrem, North Sumatra Province. It is hoped that the nurses will pay more attention to the aspects of family support for schizophrenia patients, as well as conduct a home visit when the patient returns. So that when the patient goes home the patient also gets maximum care. family support for schizophrenic patients.

Abstract

Sectio Caesarea childbirth can have an impact after the operation, namely the pain. Pain is an unpleasant feeling experienced by post sectio caesarean patients. the pain is gone arise caused by surgery on the abdominal wall and the uterine wall that can’t be lost in one day gives the impact of a mobilization is limited. Various ways can reduce post sectio caesarean of pain, one of them is by giving lemon aromatherapy. This study aims to know if there is an effect of lemon aromatherapy on reducing pain intensity on post-cesarean section patients. This research is a quasi-experimental research with one group pretest and posttest designs. The population in this study were all Post Sectio Caesarea mothers on February 2020 at Rumah Sakit Islam Malahayati Medan were 40 peoples. The sampling technique were carried out by accidental sampling technique so that the number of samples were 28 people. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that from the pre test results, the majority of respondents had moderate pain are 13 respondents (46.4%), while from the post test results the majority of respondents had mild pain are 12 respondents (42.9%). The results of data analysis showed the value of P = 0.000, where 0.000 <0.05. This case showed that treatment has an effect on reducing pain intensity on post sectio caesarean patients at Rumah Sakit Islam Malahayati Medan in 2020. It was concluded that lemon aromatherapy had an effect on reducing pain intensity on post sectio caesarean patients. For respondents to be able to use lemon aromatherapy to reduce of pain on Post Sectio Caesarea patients as a non-pharmacological method that is safe and easy to apply at home.

Abstract

On January 30, 2020, WHO designated COVID-19 as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). Pregnant women are made a vulnerable group at risk of being infected with COVID-19 due to physiological changes during pregnancy (Liang, 2020). This study uses a pre-experimental type of research, with a One Group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were all pregnant women who were at the Kota Pinang General Hospital, the data collected in April-August were 20 people, The sample in this study was Purposive Sampling Technique, with the research technique using the Chi Square test. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence before being given knowledge of maternity mothers on the prevention of COVID-19 transmission at the Kota Pinang General Hospital in 2020 as many as 10 (50%) respondents fall into the poor category and after being given knowledge, there are 3 (15%) respondents. Meanwhile, before being given knowledge about preventing the transmission of COVID-19 to maternity mothers at the Kota Pinang General Hospital, 7 (35%) respondents were in the good category, and 12 (60%) respondents were in the good category after being given knowledge of maternity mothers on prevention of transmission. COVID-19. Based on the results of statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test, it is known that the p value (0.001) < (0.05) means that Ho is rejected, so it can be said that there is a significant influence regarding the effect of knowledge given to maternity mothers on the prevention of COVID-19 transmission at the Kota Pinang General Hospital in 2020. It is recommended to health workers, especially midwives, to provide counseling to maternity mothers regarding the prevention of COVID-19 transmission.

Abstract

Coronaavirus (Cov) is a family of viruses that causes various diseases, from the common cold to more serious illnesses. SARS CoV-2, the name of the virus that causes the disease known as COVID-19, is a new type of coronavirus, this virus has not been previously identified in humans. Corona viruses are zoonotic, which means they are transmitted from animals to humans. One way to reduce anxiety levels in Covid-19 patients is by providing knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and anxiety in covid-19 patients in the isolation room of Shafa Marwa Hospital of Haji Medan in 2021. Abstract

Primary dysmenorrhea is pain that arises from the first day of menstruation and will recover immediately after stabilizing the body's hormones. In addition to pharmacological therapy, one of which is to reduce dysminorrhea pain without drugs, namely by non-pharmacological therapy, one of which is Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii), Cinnamon. (Cinnamomum burmanii) is a kind of spice-producing tree, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of Cinnamon Aromatherapy (Cinnamomum Burmanni) on Primary Dysmenorrhea Pain in Students at SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu in 2021. This study used a pre-experimental research type, one group pre and post test design, which involved one group of subjects, the population in this study were all female students of SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu class I with 28 female students, II 30 female students and III female students. 30, which has been collected as many as 80 students, the sample sample with the purposive sampling technique. So the number of samples in this study were 44 students, with the research technique using the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study have a significant effect of giving cinnamon aromatherapy (Cinnamomum Burmanni) on primary dysmenorrhea pain in students at SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu in 2021, with the value of statistical test results using the Wilcoxon test obtained p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The conclusions in this study from these results prove that giving cinnamon aromatherapy (Cinnamomum Burmanni) can effectively reduce the level of primary dysmenorrhea pain in students at SMA Negeri 1 Air Batu in 2021, Suggestions for health education This study proves that cinnamon aromatherapy can reduce primary dysmenorrhea. Therefore, this research can provide information and the development of nursing science, especially the sexuality block of the benefits of cinnamon aromatherapy on primary dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

Appendicitis is one of the most common cases in abdominal surgery which causes acute abdominal pain and requires immediate surgery to prevent complications which are generally dangerous. The purpose of this study is the Relationship between Family Support and Anxiety Level in Preoperative Appendix Patients at RSI Malahayati Medan in 2022. This study used a correlation description design, the population of this study was 25 people with a total sample of 25 people with accidental sampling technique. Data obtained through the Family Support questionnaire. The data was processed using the Chi Squere test and presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. Research results obtained influence with a significance value or sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000<0. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between family support and anxiety levels in preoperative appendix patients at Malahayati Hospital. It is hoped that families will pay attention to the support given to patients who will be operated on.
