Abstract

Pengembangan instrumen Penilaian soal tes pada materi teks resensi dengan berbasis kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan pada materi teks resensi. Tetapi pada kenyataannya guru masih belum sepenuhnya mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berbasis kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Selain itu belum tersedianya instrumen assessment yang didesain khusus untuk melatih HOTS atau keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Karena peserta didik yang mempunyai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi jika tidak diberikan kesempatan untuk mengembangkan dan tidak diarahkan dengan tepat maka kemampuan berpikirnya tidak akan meningkat. Bagi peserta didik yang cenderung berpikir tingkat rendah perlu dilatih sejak dasar, agar pada saat memasuki jenjang pendidikan berikutnya peserta didik tidak merasa takut jika dihadapkan pada pertanyaan atau permasalahan yang lebih rumit. Masalah dalam pembahasan ini didapat dari hasil wawancara yang diajukan kepada beberapa guru di Mas Al-Asy’ari Medan Krio. Salah satu cara dalam menerapkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) adalah dengan melakukan penilaian berupa tes tertulis. Dan pada pembahasan ini secara khusus membahas tentang Pengembangan Instrumen Penilaian Berbasis Kemampuan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi (HOTS) Untuk Pembelajaran Teks Resensi.

Abstract

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia sehingga mendorong proses pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi yang semakin otonom dan fleksibel serta Menciptakan kultur belajar yang inovatif, tidak mengekang, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Adapun program MKBM terdiri dari 8 (delapan) kegiatan : magang/praktek kerja, asistensi mengajar di satuan pendidikan, penelitian/riset, proyek kemanusiaan, kegiatan wirausaha, studi/proyek independen, membangun desa/kuliah kerja nyata tematik dan pertukaran pelajar. Yang terlibat dalam program MBKM di Perguruan Tinggi adalah mahasiswa/i, dosen, dan koordinator Perguruan Tinggi. Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) LMII Medan dimasa pandemic covid-19 kurang aktif dalam mengikuti dikarenakan sebagian besar mahasiswa/i pulang ke daerah asalnya selama proses pembelajaran secara daring. Yayasan STIE LMII Medan mengikuti pelatihan program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) sehingga di angkatan program berikutnya dalam berperan serta dalam Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).

Abstract

Literary work as a medium for the soul of an author who feels he has a duty to contribute as a messenger of moral or religious messages and human life on earth. An author is considered successful if he is able to convey moral and religious messages and life through the literary works he writes, so that the reader does not feel that he is being lectured or lectured, but without realizing the moral message in literary works. Religion refers more to the system of worship of God in terms of official, laws, ordinances, statutes, etc., as well as the organization of the overall interpretation of the Bible, which includes social levels. Express devotion to God, close your eyes, focus, surrender and prepare to listen to the Holy Word silently. Humans were created to worship Allah SWT by carrying out His commands and staying away from all His prohibitions. Human closeness to Allah SWT takes various forms, depending on each individual. However, humans created by Allah SWT are guided by the holy book of the Qur'an and adhere to the teachings of Islam. This research is a qualitative study of literature and activities carried out by collecting and analyzing research data from the novel 99 Lights in the Sky of Europe by Rangga Almahendra and Hanum Salsabiela Rais. In this study, the researcher first read in detail the novel 99 Lights in the Sky Europe by Rangga Almahendra and Hanum Salsabiela Rais. divine value approach. Found research results seen from. (1) looking for divine values related to humans and faith, (2) looking for divine values related to humans and worship, (3) seeking grateful values related to God with humans and (4) looking for patient values related to God with humans.

Abstract

Peristiwa pandemik Covid-19 sangat berdampak bagi kehidupan manusia saat ini, khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Sekolah-sekolah diharuskan untuk menghentikan pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran dalam jaringan (pembelajaran online). Salah satunya adalah SMP Negeri 1 Sunggal. Sekolah tersebut juga terkena dampak buruk dari pandemik sehingga banyak para peserta didik kesulitan dalam menerima pembelajaran dari para pendidik. Selama ini, proses pembelajaran dilakukan hanya dengan menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp (Wa) sehingga proses pembelajaran berlangsung secara tidak maksimal. Untuk itu, kami melakukan pengabdian masyarakat di sekolah ini guna memberikan sosialisasi pembelajaran menggunakan Google classroom dan Zoom kepada para pendidik agar dapat lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Para pendidik sangat antusias dan ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan alasan bahwa media Google classroom dan Zoom sangat bagus diterapkan karena dapat menampilkan materi dan video pembelajaran dengan kapasitas besar sehingga pembelajaran berjalan lebih efektif dan efisen, baik secara teori maupun praktek.

Abstract

Children are the most beautiful gift for parents. These gifts sometimes have shortcomings or many of them experience disorders during their development. There are various kinds of developmental disorders suffered by children including: autism, ADHD, ADD, speech delay, asperger syndrome, and taurette syndrome. In Indonesia, 5% of the school-age population to some degree in experiencing developmental disorders, one of which is Hyperactivity Disorder. Hyperactivity disorder is more common among boys than girls, estimated at 2-4% for girls, and 6-9% for boys aged 6-12 years. One of the real challenges today is the high cost of conducting a medical examination. So many children are not brought by their parents to undergo examination due to limited costs. In addition to financing, the lack of experts or specialists in the field of child health is also a factor in parents being reluctant to check their children. The situation is a lot in the area, especially those far from the city center. In this study, the Dempster Shafer method will provide an initial diagnosis and classification of types of child development disorders into several classifications such as in the case of Hyperactivity Disorder, with categories of Hyperactivity, Inpulsive, and Inatensi. Based on the results of manual calculations using Dempster Shafer, a value presentation of 0.6 leads to invasive disease.

Abstract

“Sekolah Penggerak” Program is a program to encourage the transformation process of educational units to realize the Pancasila student profile which was launched online on February 1 2021. The city of Binjai was chosen to implement this program during the 2nd Generation of Mobilization School. And there were 14 schools selected, namely 2 Kindergarten schools (TK), 8 Elementary Schools (SD), 2 Middle Schools (SMP), and 2 High Schools (SMA). Among the selected school levels, only the Elementary School (SD) level was selected more often than the others. So the proposer is interested in analyzing the implementation of the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in 8 elementary schools (SD) throughout Binjai Municipality and collecting the learning achievements that have been obtained by students. From the research results, it was found that students were more motivated and enthusiastic in learning. This is because the learning programs in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program are interesting and more fun. Students are invited to be more active and creative in learning through innovative learning models. Thus, this research intends to provide information to other education providers regarding the achievement of activities and learning achievements of students in the “Sekolah Penggerak” program in the Binjai Municipality so that they can motivate other schools to participate in implementing the “Sekolah Penggerak” program. In this way, it is hoped that this research will be useful for teachers and other educational institutions.

Abstract

Technology is the main need in today's world of education because it is able to produce many applications that can be used as digital learning media. One of them is the Canva application which can be used to design learning displays or teaching materials as visual media in the teaching and learning process. This Community Service (PkM) aims to describe the training activities for creating interesting learning content with the Canva application for students at SMK Putra Anda Binjai which was held on March 15, 2024. The material of the training activities was delivered through presentations and questions and answers located in the Hall of SMK Putra Anda Binjai. This activity was carried out on the basis that most students still do not have insight and knowledge in developing and using applications that can be used in learning, lack of student creativity in designing innovative learning media in designing learning to be more interesting and fun, and students have difficulties in utilizing learning media applications, such as the Canva application, due to lack of information and training on the use of IT-based learning media. The methods used in this service are lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and finally evaluating activities using google forms. The result of this activity is that students have a broader knowledge of learning media, especially on the Canva application so that they are able to create learning content that is interesting, easy to understand, and fun.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between students' academic achievements and the effectiveness of campus promotion in attracting new prospective students. Academic performance is often used as an indicator of educational quality in higher education and is frequently highlighted in promotional strategies. However, the direct relationship between student academic achievement and campus promotion success has not been fully understood. This research utilizes the Apriori method in data mining to discover hidden patterns related to student academic performance and campus promotion. The data analyzed include undergraduate students from the 2017–2019 cohorts at STMIK Kaputama Binjai, with variables such as study programs, GPA, school background, and major during high school. The results indicate a significant correlation between academic achievement and the effectiveness of campus promotion, which can be used by institutions to develop more targeted promotional strategies. By leveraging data mining, universities can more effectively identify potential student segments and enhance the overall image of the institution.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia since 2020 has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the learning system in universities. Universities, which originally implemented face-to-face learning processes, were forced to adapt to online learning. However, this change causes various obstacles, especially for students who experience learning loss, namely a decrease in interest and motivation to learn which has an impact on academic achievement. This research aims to classify the factors that cause the decline in student learning achievement in the post-pandemic period at STMIK Kaputama using the C4.5 algorithm. Using data from STMIK Kaputama students as a sample, this research analyzes various factors such as access to technology, involvement in online learning, participation in face-to-face learning, social support, learning motivation, economic conditions, family, college, and academic stress levels. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a deeper understanding of the dominant factors that cause a decline in learning achievement, as well as become a reference for educational institutions in developing strategies to overcome the negative impacts of online learning during the pandemic Keywords: C4.5 Algorithm, Decrease in Achievement, Data Classification
