Abstract

Kertosari Village, Pakusari District, Jember Regency is one of the regions with relatively high rice productivity. One of the farmer groups in the village is Poktan Karya Tani who manages rice fields while also running a side business in the form of the brick industry. Community service activities aim to:increase the capacity of farmers to utilize local waste, a useful product in the form of a biofertilizer combined with biochar such as husk and bacillus sp. Community service consists of a series activities including outreach, training in making biochar, and application biochar. Socialization activities can increase farmers' knowledge regarding the importance of using biological fertilizers in combination with husk ash biochar. Based on the results of the comparison of pretest scores and posttest, there was an increase in farmers' understanding with an average of around 60% - 90%. increased to 100% after socialization was carried out. Potassium levels increased after applying a biological fertilizer combination of husk ash biochar and bacillus sp. Soil potassium levels reached 3.13 me/100g and continued to increase higher after 4 weeks, reaching 6.10 me/100g in the very high category. Fe levels in the soil also decreased from 1.3 ppm to 0.5 ppm.

Abstract

Microlearning is a learning method that utilizes video media to enhance students' interest in learning. This study aims to develop microlearning-based educational media focused on the topic of living ecosystem for high school (SMA) or Madrasah Aliyah (MA) levels. The research method employed is a R&D, using the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination), limited to the Development stage. Validity testing is conducted by expert validators, while practicality testing is carried out with users. The results indicate that the developed microlearning achieved a validity score of 91.4% and a practicality score of 86.7%. The conclusion of this study is that the microlearning media developed for the topic of living ecosystems at the E phase for SMA/MA levels is categorized as highly valid and highly practical. Abstrak. Microlearning merupakan suatu metode pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media video untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk microlearning yang berfokus pada materi ekosistem makhluk hidup untuk tingkat Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan, menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination), yang dibatasi hingga tahap Development. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh para ahli validator, sedangkan uji praktikalitas dilaksanakan pada pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan microlearning memperoleh nilai validitas sebesar 91,4% dan nilai praktikalitas sebesar 86,7%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media microlearning yang dikembangkan untuk materi ekosistem makhluk hidup pada fase E di tingkat SMA/MA tergolong sangat valid dan sangat praktis.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman orang tua tentang pola asuh yang tepat dan lemahnya ikatan emosional dengan anak usia dini di era modern yang membuat interaksi tatap muka berkurang. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu memberikan sosialisasi parenting dan aktivitas kreasi bingkai foto untuk meningkatkan kedekatan orang tua dan anak. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan di awali dengan penyuluhan materi parenting tentang peran orang tua, komunikasi positif, dan pola asuh demokratis, dilanjutkan demonstrasi dan praktik membuat bingkai foto berpasangan menggunakan bahan sederhana seperti karton, kertas warna, pita, dan lem di TK An-Nizham, Jambi pada 21 November 2025 dengan 25 orang tua dan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan respons positif, antusiasme anak dalam berkreasi, interaksi hangat berpasangan, peningkatan kesadaran orang tua tentang waktu berkualitas, serta produk bingkai foto unik sebagai kenang-kenangan yang mempererat hubungan emosional.

Abstract

In the learning process, teaching materials and LKPD are needed to train students' abilities in learning. However, the teaching materials used are not yet appropriate due to the lack of material in the textbooks, in addition, the number of textbooks is still limited, resulting in less effective learning. This will certainly be less effective learning because the textbooks or printed books provided by the school do not match the number of students. This supports the LKPD research which will later become one of the new teaching materials by teachers and students because by using LKPD, learning time can be optimized well and by using LKPD students will be easier in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to produce LKPD Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the material of transport and exchange of substances in humans for SMA/MA which is valid and practical. The development research uses the 4D model. This model has four stages of development, namely the define , design , develop and disseminate stages . This research was conducted until the develop stage , namely the validity test and practicality test. The assessment instruments carried out at this stage consisted of validity and practicality questionnaires, this validity questionnaire consisted of content feasibility, language, didactical, and graphical, while the practicality questionnaire consisted of ease of use, benefits. The data were analyzed using percentage techniques and processed using descriptive analysis or determining the highest score and the final value of validity and practicality. Based on the results of the research test, the developed LKPD is very valid with a value of (89%), the results of the practicality test by 2 biology teachers on the developed LKPD are very practical (92%), and the practicality of 31 students is very practical (87%). Based on the results of the validity and practicality tests, it can be concluded that the student worksheet (LKPD) based on problem based learning (PBL) on the material of transport and exchange of substances in humans for phase f of SMA 1 Akabiluru Kab. Lima Putuh Kota which was developed is very valid and practical.

Abstract

Abstrak Kekeringan meteorologis merupakan indikator awal yang krusial dalam mendeteksi tekanan iklim yang berpotensi memicu gangguan pada sektor pertanian dan sumber daya air. Kabupaten Jember sebagai wilayah dengan dominasi lahan pertanian tadah hujan memiliki tingkat kerentanan tinggi terhadap fluktuasi curah hujan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola temporal dan sebaran spasial kekeringan meteorologis di Kabupaten Jember selama periode 2004–2023 menggunakan Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) multiskala (1, 3, 6, 9, dan 12 bulan). Data curah hujan dari 77 stasiun diuji homogenitasnya menggunakan Buishand Range Test, dengan 71 stasiun dinyatakan layak analisis. Pemetaan dilakukan menggunakan metode interpolasi Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) dalam Sistem Informasi Geografis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kekeringan terjadi berulang hampir setiap tahun dengan cakupan spasial yang luas dan intensitas berbeda pada tiap skala waktu. Luasan kekeringan tertinggi tercatat pada SPI 6 bulan sebesar 329.100 ha (Mei), menunjukkan tekanan akumulatif terhadap sistem irigasi dan cadangan air. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan SPI multiskala efektif sebagai dasar sistem peringatan dini dan perencanaan adaptasi berbasis wilayah, khususnya untuk pengelolaan pertanian dan sumber daya air di tingkat kabupaten. Abstract.Meteorological drought serves as a critical early indicator of climate stress that can disrupt agricultural systems and water resources. Jember Regency, characterized by extensive rainfed agricultural land, is highly vulnerable to rainfall variability. This study aims to analyze the temporal patterns and spatial distribution of meteorological drought in Jember Regency during the 2004–2023 period using the multi-timescale Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) at 1-, 3-, 6-, 9-, and 12-month intervals. Monthly rainfall data from 77 stations were tested for homogeneity using the Buishand Range Test, with 71 stations deemed suitable for further analysis. Spatial mapping was conducted using the Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) interpolation method within a Geographic Information System framework. The results indicate that drought events occurred recurrently almost every year, with varying spatial extent and intensity across timescales. The most extensive drought area was identified under the 6-month SPI in May, covering 329,100 ha, reflecting cumulative stress on irrigation systems and water reserves. These findings demonstrate that the multi-timescale SPI approach provides a robust basis for early warning systems and spatially informed adaptation planning, particularly for agricultural and water resource management at the regency level. Submitted:2025-07-01 Revisions: 2025-11-07 Accepted:2026-03-02 Published:2026-03-10
