Abstract

AbstrakPoster merupakan suatu gambar dua dimensi yang dibuat di atas media kertas ataupun sejenisnya dalam ukuran besar yang di dalamnya terdapat gambar dan tulisan yang berfungsi untuk mengajak, menginformasikan, mempromosikan sesuatu hal kepada masyarakat umum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana tingkat penerapan unsur-unsur seperti gambar, tipografi dan warna yang terdapat pada hasil karya gambar poster peserta didik kelas viii Smp Negeri 1 Perbaungan T.A 2019/2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini ialah 10% dari jumlah populasi yaitu 10% dari 120 poster menjadi 12 poster. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan hasil karya gambar poster peserta didik kurang baik terutama dalam mewujudkan gambar, tipografi, dan warna. Penerapan gambar berkaitan dengan tingkat kejelasan gambar dan kesesuaian gambar dengan tema masih banyak terdapat kelemahan-kelamahan. Penerapan jenis huruf berkaitan dengan kemudahan untuk dibaca dan ukuran huruf serta jarak antar huruf juga masih mendapati kelemahan. Warna yang diterapkan belum memberikan kesan gelap terang dan kerapian. Hasil rata-rata penilaian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terhadap hasil karya poster peserta didik ialah terdapat 5 poster yang meperoleh nilai 70-79 dengan kategori cukup baik, sedangkan 7 karya memperoleh nilai 60-69 dengan kategori kurang baik.AbstractPoster is a two-dimensional image made on paper media or the like in large sizes in which there are images and writings that serve to invite, inform, promote things to the general public. This research aims to find out the extent of the level of application of elements such as images, typography and colors contained in the poster images of students of class viii Smp Negeri 1 Perbaungan T.A 2019/2020. The sample in this study was 10% of the population, which is 10% from 120 posters to 12 posters. The data analysis used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The results of this study showed that overall the work of poster images of learners was not good, especially in realizing images, typography, and colour. The application of images related to the level of clarity of the image and the suitability of the image with the theme there are still many weaknesses. The application of typefaces related to the ease of reading and the size of the letters and the distance between the letters also still found weaknesses. The color applied has not given the impression of light darkness and neatness. The average result of assessments conducted by researchers on the work of poster learners is that there are 5 posters that get a value of 70-79 with a fairly good category, while 7 works get a value of 60-69 with a less good category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of design principles, typography and color to the design of the 2019 Senat Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan Instagram Feed which was analyzed by theoretical and empirical studies and then described and interpreted based on the research results. The population in this study were 15 designs for Instagram Feed Senat Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan in 2019 then the research samples taken in this study were 5 designs using the Simple Random Sampling technique based on attractive design characteristics, compatibility between themes and colors in the design, and typographic characteristics. used in the design by setting aside things that are still less relevant to the population to be studied. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of the research on this design were assessed by researchers and 3 raters who have described and interpreted the data tabulation and as for the results in the 2019 Senat Mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan Instagram Feed design research, it can be concluded that the quality of the application of design principles, typography and color as a whole is contained in Good category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the design of the SDIT AL - Munadi Medan brochure for the period 2014 - 2019 by knowing the color, layout and typography of the brochure. The research method uses descriptive qualitative by collecting various information about the brochure design of SDIT AL - Munadi Medan for the period of 2014 - 2019. The population in this study is the design of brochures for the period 2014 - 2019 amounting to 6 brochures at SDIT AL - Munadi Medan. The sample in this study used saturated sampling in which the entire population was sampled, in order to obtain data regarding the analysis of the design brochure SDIT AL - Munadi Medan. After collecting data through observation research instruments, interviews and documentation, the results of the study show the results of the SDIT AL - Munadi Medan brochure design for the period 2014 - 2019 from the color of the brochure, brochure layout, and brochure typography.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan aspek Desain Komunikasi Visual pada poster Greenpeace. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan desain. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 3 poster Greenpeace. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 poster dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan studi pustaka, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa poster Greenpeace termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dalam penerapan tipografi, warna, dan ilustrasi. Penerapan tipografi yang baik dapat dilihat dari legibility dan readability yang baik, dihasilkan dari bentuk huruf yang sesuai dan penggunaan warna yang kontras pada teks. Kemudian penerapan warna yang baik tidak terlepas dari warna yang kontras dan sesuai antara objek ilustrasi dan tipografi dengan background, serta menggunakan perpaduan warna yang harmonis. Berikutnya penerapan ilustrasi yang sangat baik dapat dilihat dari penggunaan ilustrasi yang mampu menjadi point of interest dan dapat menyampaikan pesan dengan baik. Simpulannya, poster Greenpeace sudah sangat baik dalam menerapkan aspek tipografi, warna, dan ilustrasi. Disarankan agar pembaca menjadikan poster Greenpeace sebagai referensi untuk membuat desain poster yang baik.

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce an advertising video concept that is attractive, creative and economically valuable. This research is based on the desire to produce a creative and innovative product that can be applied as a promotional medium that can be useful for building the economic activities of the Medan City UMKM group. This research aims to produce a method for producing video advertisements for UMKM products as branding media for Medan City UMKM. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The process of searching for data and information was carried out using in-depth interviews with videography experts, Medan city UMKM, and Medan city UMKM product consumers as informants. Apart from that, literacy studies were also carried out such as journals, newspapers, magazines and other materials containing information about branding and UMKM. The research results concluded that in introducing and promoting a product or brand, the use of promotional videos could be an option. Publication of Medan City UMKM products through advertising video media can be done as an effort to increase brand awareness. Promotional videos are able to convey messages well so that they get the desired response.
