Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran upaya pelestarian Gedung Kesenian Societeit de Harmonie berdasarkan analisis kriteria bangunan cagar budaya, dan solusi dalam menghidupkan kembali fungsi dan keberadaan gedung kesenian sebagai salah satu artefak kota Makassar. Melalui metode penelitian grounded theory yang merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan suatu prosedur sistematik untuk mengembangkan suatu fenomena yang terjadi. Dalam hal ini, tolak ukur analisis yang digunakan berdasarkan kriteria bangunan cagar budaya yang dikemukan oleh Haryoto Kunto, yaitu: Berusia 50 tahun atau lebih, Mewakili masa gaya, Memiliki arti khusus, serta Memiliki nilai budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalahan fisik dan sosial yang terjadi di Gedung kesenian ini namun gedung ini memiliki nilai histori dan dipatenkan sebagai bangunan cagar budaya sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pelestarian bangunan. Berdasarkan kondisi bangunan dan lingkungan yang diperoleh, ditentukan bentuk pelestarian yang sesuai antara lain rekonstruksi, preservasi, adaptasi maupun revitalisasi.

Abstract

The city of Makassar has the advantage of a charming beach tourism destination and is an icon of the city located in the Losari Beach Region or known as the CPI Region (Center point of Indonesia). Losari beach area has zoning areas consisting of tourist areas namely Losari Beach Pavilion, Fort Rotterdam, Shopping Center and Ole-ole Somba Opu, and Culinary Tourism Areas that are expected to attract tourists to visit. However, visitor / tourist movements are concentrated only on the Losari Beach Pavilion. Through the cognitive mapping analysis method, this study aims to identify the characteristics of movement patterns of tourists in the Losari Beach tourism area and the factors that influence the pattern of tourist movements. The pattern of tourist movements is obtained from the recapitulation of index cards based on tourist routes. The results of this study are that the tourist movement pattern is dominated by a single point pattern with the tourist destinations of Losari Beach Pavilion and the least movement patterns carried out by tourists is the Chaining Loop pattern which visits four tourist spots namely Losari Beach Pavilion, Culinary Center for street vendors, Makassar, Fort Rotterdam, and Makassar Ole-Ole shopping center, and factors that influence tourist movement patterns are the classification of tourist interest, operational time and classification based on the ease of tourist movements.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Saoraja Lapinceng merupakan salah satu rumah adat masyarakat Bugis yang terletak di Kabupaten Barru dan menjadi warisan budaya Sulawesi Selatan yang patut dijaga dan dilestarikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis serangkaian nilai tradisi atau filosofi yang terkandung pada Saoraja Lapinceng sebagai icon arsitektur tradisional Barru serta menemukan integrasi konsep arsitektur Islam pada rumah adat sebagai bagian upaya pelestarian budaya. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif, maka penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan menemukan berbagai nilai tradisi, karakteristik komponen arsitektural, dan integrasi konsep arsitektur Islam yang diaplikasikan pada bangunan rumah adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Saoraja Lapinceng memiliki karakteristik bangunan yang sama dengan rumah adat bugis pada umumnya. Disamping itu, terdapat beberapa unsur kesamaan pola ruang rumah Islami dengan pola ruang rumah tradisional Saoraja Lapinceng memberikan kaidah bahwa ajaran Islami sangat menyatu dengan karaktristik suku Bugis yang memang sangat kental dengan unsur ajaran Islami dalam kehidupan masyarakatnya.Kata kunci : Komponen Arsitektural; Rumah Adat; Konsep Arsitektur Islam; Tradisi.Abstract_ Saoraja Lapinceng is one of the traditional house of Bugis society located in Barru Regency and become cultural heritage of South Sulawesi which is women dijagai and preserved. This study aims to identify and analyze the traditional values or philosophies contained in Saoraja Lapinceng as traditional Barru architectural icons and discover the concept behind traditional Islam. By using descriptive research method, hence this research look for and find various kinds of information, characteristic of architectural component, and integrate concept of Islam architecture applied to Rumah Rumah adat. The results showed that Saoraja Lapinceng has the same building properties as custom homes bugis in general. In addition, there are several types of spatial pattern of Islamic house with the pattern of traditional home space Saoraja Lapinceng gives the rule that Islamic teachings are very united with the karaktristik Bugis tribe that is very thick with no Islamic teachings in the life of the community.Keywords : Architectural Components; Custom home; Concept of Islamic Architecture; Tradition.

Abstract

Abstrak_ Perkembangan teknologi meningkat pesat seiring berjalannya waktu. Mulai dari mobil pintar yang bisa berjalan sendiri ke berbagai tujuan tanpa pengemudi, hingga perangkat rumah pintar yang bisa secara otomatis bersuara mengingatkan untuk melakukan aktifitas sesuai jadwal. Semua teknologi terbaru ini adalah bagian dari Internet of Things. Internet of Things (IoT) adalah konsep dimana objek memiliki kemampuan untuk mentransfer data melalui jaringan tanpa memerlukan interaksi dari manusia ke manusia atau dari manusia ke komputer. IoT adalah struktur dimana, orang diberi identitas eksklusif dan kemampuan untuk memindahkan data melalui jaringan tanpa memerlukan dua arah antara manusia ke manusia, sumber ke tujuan atau interaksi antara manusia dan komputer. Jadi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan penerapan sistem IoT dalam mendukung program smart building dan lingkungan yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi manfaat teknologi IoT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dengan menghubungkan sistem bangunan yang berbeda dengan sensor dan perangkat IoT yang terhubung ke jaringan, aplikasi bangunan pintar untuk lingkungan perumahan pintar, dan ekosistem dapat terintegrasi menggunakan data lintas operasi, memberikan visibilitas yang lebih besar, wawasan cepat, dan pengalaman penghuni yang lebih baik. Teknologi IoT dapat bekerja dengan baik jika interaksi antara perangkat IoT dengan manusia atau pengguna harus berjalan dengan baik, karena IoT tidak akan berfungsi secara optimal jika pengguna tidak dapat mengoperasikannya dengan baik.Kata kunci: Internet of Things (IoT); Bangunan Pintar; Lingkungan Perumahan Pintar; Ekosistem Terpadu, Sistem Bangunan. Abstract_ Technological development increases rapidly over time. Starting from smart cars that can walk alone to various destinations without a human driver, to smart home devices that can automatically remind the voice to do activities on schedule. All of this latest technology is part of the Internet of Things. Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept where objects can transfer data through networks without requiring interaction from human to human or from human to computer. IoT is a structure in which objects, people are given an exclusive identity and the ability to move data through networks without requiring two directions between humans to humans, that is, sources to destinations or interactions between humans and computers. So, this research aims to identify and explain the application of the IoT system in support of smart building programs and integrated environments. This study was analyzed descriptively qualitative with a case study approach to explore the benefits of IoT technology. The results of this study indicate by connecting disparate building systems with networked IoT sensors and devices, smart building applications for smart housing environments and integrated ecosystems can use data across operations, providing greater visibility, valuable insights, and better occupant experiences. IoT technology can work well if the interaction between IoT devices with humans or users must go well because the function of IoT will not work optimally if the user cannot operate it properly.Keywords: Internet of Things (IoT); Smart Building; Smart Housing Environment; Integrated Ecosystems, Building Systems.

Abstract

Abstrak_Suatu perancangan dengan memanfaatkan potensi iklim lingkungan sekitar disebut dengan Arsitektur Bioklimatik. Prinsip membangun pada iklim tropis lembab hanya dapat dilakukan dengan baik jika memperhatikan pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran proses merancang bangunan tinggi dengan mempertimbangkan aspek iklim dalam setiap dasar pertimbangan konsep arsitektur hingga menghasilkan suatu desain bangunan yang merupakan bentuk aplikasi dari arsitektur bioklimatik. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif eksplorasi guna menggambarkan proses atau tahapan perumusan konsep arsitektur hingga desain akhir yang merupakan bentuk bangunan yang menerapkan prinsip arsitektur bioklimatik. Teknik analisis yang bersifat eksploratif ini terlebih dahulu menganalisis aspek iklim termasuk orientasi matahari dan angin untuk mengklasifikasikan potensi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan meminimalkan efek lingkungan yang dapat merusak kenyamanan pengguna. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan proses tahapan perancangan bangunan tinggi dengan menerapkan prinsip arsitektur bioklimatik, yang mana pada bangunan menerapkan pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami secara maksimal. Desain yang menerapkan prinsip arsitektur bioklimatik sangat memperhatikan kondisi iklim sekitar sehingga dapat menjadi dasar yang mendalam bagi perancangan bangunan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci : Arsitektur Bioklimatik; Adaptasi; Iklim; Pencahayaan; Penghawaan Abstract_ A design that utilizes the potential of the surrounding climate is called Bioclimatic Architecture. The principle of building in a humid tropical climate can only be done well if it pays attention to the influence of the surrounding environment. This study aims to provide an overview of the process of designing high-rise buildings by considering climatic aspects in every primary consideration of architectural concepts to produce a building design which is an application form of bioclimatic architecture. By using the descriptive exploratory method to describe the process or stages of the formulation of architectural concepts to the final design which is a form of building that applies the principles of bioclimatic architecture. This exploratory analysis technique first analyzes climatic aspects including the sun's and wind's orientation to classify the potential that can be exploited and minimize environmental effects that can damage user comfort. The results of this study indicate the process of designing high-rise buildings by applying the principles of bioclimatic architecture, in which the building applies natural lighting and ventilation to the maximum. Designs that apply the principles of bioclimatic architecture are very concerned about the surrounding climatic conditions so that they can be a deep basis for the design of sustainable buildings. Abstract

Abstract_ The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism sector, even though this sector is one of the main contributors to Indonesia's economy. Bulo Village, located in Bulo District, Polewali Mandar Regency, has great potential for the development of an agro-tourism area. Geographically, this village is located in a mountainous area with an area of durian plantations covering approximately 200 hectares, which is the main attraction. However, to develop this potential into an attractive tourist destination, many aspects still need improvement, both in terms of infrastructure and the management of natural and human resources. Therefore, this research aims to design an agrotourism area in Bulo Village with a sustainable architecture approach that considers the balance between environmental, economic, and social aspects. The method used in this research is a sustainable architectural design approach, which focuses on the efficient use of natural resources without damaging the local ecosystem. The results of this design are expected to contribute to the development of an environmentally friendly agro-tourism area, support the local economy, and improve the social welfare of the village community. Abstract

Cocoa plants (Theobroma cacao, L.) are the best plantation crops in Indonesia that play an important role in the economy. However, in cultivation, cocoa farmers often face problems that can cause a decrease in cocoa production, one of which is the lack of potassium nutrients. Therefore, how to implement digital image processing which can help analyze image objects in the form of normal leaf characteristics and potassium-deficient leaf characteristics using the Local Binary Pattern (LBP) method for image feature extraction and classified using the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) method in identifying potassium deficiencies in cocoa plants based on their leaf characteristics. In the image object in the form of leaf characteristics, each will be identified with 250 in the background dataset and 100 in the non-background dataset. So that the feature extraction process by LBP can be analyzed using the MLP parameter approach in the form of variations in the Learning_rate network and several solvers. In the case study conducted as the methodology applied starting from data collection, algorithm development, to validation and measurement using ROC, it was found that the results of the study using the LBP method and MLP classification showed that the best accuracy results in testing the background dataset using the learning_rate network 10(-4) with Solver lbfgs were 86.66% and the best accuracy in testing the non-background dataset using the learning_rate network 10(-3) with Solver adam was 80.00%.

Abstract

Ratte Village, which is located in Tutar or Tubbi Taramanu District, is one of the underdeveloped villages in Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. The Village Building Index Index shows the lowest index. This is what underlies the implementation of this research activity to be carried out in Ratte Village seeing the status of the underdeveloped village. Through this Asset-Based Community Development approach in a sustainable manner, it can establish community independence by increasing income to increase welfare. This study aims to inventory Social Security Assets in Ratte Village, Polewali Mandar Regency with the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) Approach. This research uses action research or Participatory Action Research which is carried out through stages (1) Discovery (Assessment); (2) Dream (Dream); (3) Design (procedure); and (4) Define and Destiny. The results of the study indicate that the potential or ability of cooperation, social networks, and social harmony, as well as the activeness of several correctional institutions that are intertwined among the people of Ratte Village are quite strong. Among the 4 (four) social indicators in the IDM, it is known that the education indicator is the indicator with the highest index of achievement. This is reflected in the very high motivation to learn and public awareness in the field of education. The availability of educational facilities and mountain water resources as a mode of driving the village electricity network is also sufficient to help the community carry out daily activities.

Abstract

Seni mural merupakan bentuk seni lukisan yang disajikan pada dinding dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan nilai estetika suatu ruang (interior atau eksterior). Namun seringkali seni mural menjadi salah satu permasalahan kota karena dibuat pada media yang bukan peruntukannya. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran dan makna dari komunikasi visual pada seni mural yang terdapat di Kota Makassar. Objek pengamatan dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu seni mural yang sesuai pada tempatnya dan seni mural yang tidak pada tempatnya seperti tembok rumah berpenghuni, pagar ruko maupun di sarana publik. Melalui metode penelitian studi kasus yang dilakukan di kota Makassar, data-data yang terkumpul melalui tahap observasi dan wawancara kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum seni mural di kota Makassar merupakan bentuk alternatif penyampaian pesan melalui nilai-nilai estetis dan etis. Karena perannya yang cukup besar dalam membangkitkan perasaan seseorang, oleh pemerintah kota Makassar menjadikan seni mural sebagai salah satu indikator peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kota melalui program Lorong Wisata.
