Abstract

The aim of this study is 1) To know and analyze the effect of firm size on financialperformance 2) To determine and analyze the effect of leverage on the company's financialperformance 3) To know and analyze the effect of firm size on corporate value 4) To knowand analyze the effect of leverage the value of the company 5) To know and analyze the effecton the value of the company's financial performance. The location study performed oncompanies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection technique useddocumentation study were obtained from www.idx.co.id. The number of samples taken was 27manufacturing company. Data were analyzed with path analysis with AMOS program version20. The results showed that 1) The size of the company and significant positive effect onfinancial performance, 2) Leverage a significant negative effect on the company's financialperformance, 3) The size of the company and significant positive effect the value of thecompany, 4) Leverage significant negative effect on the value perusahaan5) financialperformance and significant positive effect on firm value.Keywords: firm size, leverage, financial performance, the company's value

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how to establish good governance in therealization of performance-based public services in Buleleng regency government. This studyuses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study was aquestionnaire / questionnaire measuring devices in the form of Agree-Disagree Scale, whichwere selected for the study is the structural officials from several agencies selected in theRegency. Buleleng as many as 108 people. Data analysis techniques used in this study is astructural equation model (Structural Equation Modeling-SEM) based variance orComponent based SEM, the famous so-called Partial Least Square (PLS) Visual version 2.0.All relationships are examined in this study showed significant results related to the presenceof good governance in realizing the performance of public service organizations. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to explain about 1) the synergy of Village Credit Union (Lembaga perkreditan Desa – LPD) in Kedonganan Village in developing the social welfare and 2) to maintain the competitive advantage of LPD in Kedonganan Village in developing the social welfare. The background theory that is used in this study are Synergy Theory and Social Capital Theory. This study used qualitative method with case study approach. The data in this study is collected by in-depth interview and unstructured interview. The result of this study shows that LPD in Kedonganan Village have done a synergy with the Kedonganan’s village boards and the society to build social welfare. When doing the synergy, they use Social Capital approach, which are building a networking with micro and macro financial institutions around Kedonganan Village with Dharma (Kindness) and Catur Purusa Artha (Trust) as the basic principals. The administrator of the LPD also creating trust in society by using Tri Hita Karana as the concept. The rule that is used in maintaining LPD also referring to common law that is called as awig-awig or perarem which has become a mutual agreement among Kedonganan Village society. To maintain the competitive advantage of LPD in developing social welfare, the manager or administrator of LPD should care about internal and external factors.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe hospital is a capital intensive organization, full of human resources, solid technology and science, and regulation intensive. Solid capital because it requires a high investment to meet the requirements of both physical buildings and other supporting facilities and infrastructure, especially existing health equipment. Solid human resources because in hospitals work a variety of professionals / multidisciplinary with a large number of employees and demanded harmonious cooperation between professionals (team work) to create quality services. Health care providers in the world of health business are increasingly guided to be able to help fast and encouraged services capable of always developing and adapting to changes to win the competition. The purpose of this study is 1) To analyze and explain the influence of leadership, competence, motivation on employee performance and the role of variable motivation to work motivation. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with path analysis techniques. The results of the study show that 1) The competence  on leadership in the Amerta Wing Installation of Sanglah Hospital Denpasar is equal to 0.270; 2) The direct influence of competence on leadership is at the Amerta Wing Installation in Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar, at 0.484; 3) Direct influence of leadership on employee performance at the Amerta Wing Installation at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar, amounting to 0.298; 4) The indirect effect of work motivation on performance in the Amerta Wing Installation at Sanglah Hospital Denpasar is equal to 0.080; 5) The indirect effect of competence  on performance in the Amerta Wing Installation of Sanglah Hospital Denpasar is equal to 0.144; 6) The leadership role in mediating the influence of leadership on the performance of employees at the Amerta Wing Installation in RSUP Sanglah Denpasar shows that getting t count is = 0.208, and is significant with a value of 0.417 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is insignificant positive influence mediating work motivation between the influence of leadership on employee performance; and 7) The role of motivation in mediating the influence of competencies on employee performance at the Amerta RSUP Sanglah Denpasar Upper Installation shows that getting t count is = 0.207 and is significant with a value of 0.417 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is no positive effect significant mediation of work motivation between the effect of work competency on employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTWomen who have married initially only played a role in the domestic sector, which is focused on the nature of women biologically, namely taking care of the household. Current development through the influence of globalization and meeting the need to encourage women to play a role in the public sector. Especially in Bali, which is very thick with their culture tradition when a woman takes on the role as a breadwinner, as a housewife, and active in society, so that Balinese women play three roles. The purpose of the research is to explain the work motivation of Balinese women who work in a work-life balance perspective. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Informants in this study consisted of seven people including four people working in the informal sector and three people working in the formal sector, with the criteria of women, ethnic Balinese, Hindus, married, having children, working. The technique of data collection is done by semi-structured interviews. This research shows a picture of married Balinese women in maintaining balance or often referred to as work-life balance and encouragement that makes Balinese women decide to work, even though they know many roles that are carried out.
