Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajarn Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL)dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan praktikum  fisika pada peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 26 Makassar. Pemilihan sampelmelalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data untukpemahaman konsep fisika pada mata pelajaran fisika melalui tes kognitif dan keterampilan praktikum fisika serta penerapan model pembelajaran melalui observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial yaituuji-t dua pihak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif diperoleh rata-ratapemahaman konsep dan keterampilan fisika sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran CTL berada pada kategori rendah, setelah penerapan model pembelajaran CTL berada kategori sangat tinggi, sedangkan hasil inferensial yaitu thitung>ttabel sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahanan konsep dan keterampilan praktikum fisika peserta didik  pada mata pelajaran fisika.

Abstract

This research is a development research (research and development) which aims to analyze the results of the development of the instrument of assessment of Basic Physics I practicum for students majoring in Physical Education UIN Alauddin Makassar theoretically and empirically in order to obtain a valid, reliable and feasible assessment. The development of assessment instruments refers to the design of test instrument development according to Kaharuddin Arafah which consists of 7 steps of development, namely: (1) Determining the measuring scale, measuring objectives and construction of measuring instruments, (2) Construction outcome measuring instruments, (3) Validation of contents, (4) Temporary measuring instruments, (5) Target of respondents for the trial, (6) Reliability, and (7) Measuring instruments ready for use. This research was tested in the Department of Physics Education Semester I 2016/2017 UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results of the study were obtained from the Basic Physics I practicum assessment instrument that produced 8 valid items, theoretically with reliability 1.0 and empirically reliability of 73.60%. The results of the study were obtained from the practicum assessment instrument that was declared valid and reliable and feasible to be used as a standard assessment instrument in the Department of Physics Education, UIN Alauddin Makassar.

Abstract

This research is a development research (research and development) where what is desired is a valid assessment instrument and is suitable for use. The research aims to (1) To analyze the results of the development of cognitive assessment instruments for the practicum of Basic Physics Experiment I on students majoring in Physics Education UIN Alauddin Makassar theoretically and empirically. The development of assessment instruments refers to the design of the development of test instruments according to Kaharuddin Arafah which consists of 7 development steps, namely: (1) Determining the measuring scale, measuring targets and construction of measuring instruments, (2) Measuring instruments for construction results, (3) Validation of contents, (4) Temporary measuring instruments, (5) Measuring targets of trial respondents, (6) Reliability, and (7) Ready-made measuring instruments. This research was tested in the department of Physics Education in the first semester of the Class of 2021/2022 UIN Alauddin Makassar. The results of the study obtained by the Basic Physics I practicum assessment instrument theoretically produced as many as 51 question items with a reliability of 0.88 in the valid category. Meanwhile, empirically produced 48 items with the reliability of 78% of the practicum cognitive assessment instruments and their assessment rubrics meeting the reliability criteria based on trials. The results of the study obtained a practicum assessment instrument product that has been declared valid and reliable and is suitable for use as a standard assessment instrument in the Department of Physics Education UIN Alauddin Makassar.
