Abstract

The tradition of sayyang pattu'du is the ancestral culture of Mandar which is combined with Islamic culture, as a form of appreciation to the children who love the Qur'an, so it becomes a motivation for children to immediately attend the Qur'an. The sub-problems in this study, namely 1) How the beginning of the emergence of the tradition of Sayyang Pattu'du, 2) How is the procedure for implementing the tradition of Sayyang Pattu'du in the village of Lero, 3) How is the acculturation of Islam with the tradition of Sayyang Pattu'du. and the purpose of this research is to find out the beginning of the emergence of the tradition of Sayyang Pattu'du in the village of Lero. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The approach used is historical approach, sociology, anthropology, phenomenology and theology. Data analysis techniques used are deductive, inductive and comparative. The results showed that: the beginning of the emergence of the tradition of sayyang pattu'du when Islam entered in the land of Mandar during the reign of the kingdom of Balanipa, namely the fourth king Daetta tommuane, which was under the preachers. Then it was developed by K.H Muhammad Tahir Imam Lapeo, so that this tradition developed and was carried out until in the village of Lero because the majority of the population was the Mandar tribe. In the village of Lero, the implementation of the sayyang pattu'du tradition was carried out every two years coupled with the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad. The procedure for implementing it is through several stages, namely first preparing the things needed, ma'barasanji, marrattas baca and parrawana. This tradition is an acculturation of Islam and the culture of Mandar ancestral ancestors. The acculturation of Islam and the culture of the ancestors of the mandar found in the tradition of sayyang pattu'du are khatam al-Qur'an, the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, reading of barzanji, traditional customs of Mandar, Mandar art (rawana and kalinda'da), motivating others, and hospitality

Abstract

Maddoa’ is a traditional ceremony for society after conducting harvest rice in Enrekang South Sulawesi. It is an expression of joy and gratitude towards God Almighty for the success of farming. It has many values in social, cultural and religious lives and provides benefits for people’s life.  This research discusses the process of carrying the traditional ceremony and the perception of society toward Maddoa’ in Kaju Bulo Village, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. This research employs qualitative method with anthropology, sociology, and the phenomenology of religious approach. Thus, the data collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The result showed that Maddoa’ is held in the month of Muharram every Friday. It is held with other ceremonies of Mappadendang, Mappasosso, and eating together on the last day. The Maddoa’ gives various perception from society in Kaju Bulo village, Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi. The Maddoa’ contained many values that must be preserved by the next generation. The values were friendship, unity, cooperation, and solidarity.

Abstract

Pemikiran liberalisasi Islam sudah ditanamkan sejak zaman penjajahan Belanda. Namun secara sistematis dari dalam tubuh organisasi Islam, gerakan liberalisasi Islam di Indonesia bisa dimulai pada awal 1970-an. Pada 3 Januari 1970, ketua umum Pengurus Besar Himpunan Mahasiswa Indonesia (PBHMI), Nurcholish Madjid, secara resmi menggulirkan perlunya dilakukan sekularisasi Islam. Selanjutnya, kelompok Jaringan Islam Liberal (JIL) didirikan oleh para aktivis Utan kayu, di Jakarta pada 8 April 2001.Kelompok ini turut mewarnai maraknya liberalism dan mempromosikan gagasan Islam liberal (JIL).Secara historis, kemunculan JIL merupakan respon atau gerakan tandingan terhadap gerakan-gerakan fundamentalis-radikal di Indonesia yang mengemuka tidak lama setelah lengsernya Suharto pada tahun 1998.Dalam posisinya sebagai kelompok yang memperjuangkan ruang publik di Indonesia, JIL berperan sebagai counter discourse bagi kelompok-kelompok radikal-konservatif Muslim yang selalu menyerukan penerapan syariat dan pembentukan negara Islam Indonesia. Bagi JIL, Indonesia adalah bangsa majemuk/plural yang membutuhkan ruang publik.Apapun yang menyangkut urusan bersama harus dimusyawarahkan secara bebas dan demokratis.Selama keberadaannya, JIL terus mendukung sistem demokrasi, kebebasan, dan kesetaraan sosial.Sedangkan secara ideologis, terbentuknya JIL dapat dilihat sebagai kristalisasi dan kelanjutan dari pemikiran dan gerakan Islam sebelumnya, baik dalam lingkup Indonesia secara khusus maupun di dunia secara umum.

Abstract

Foster children's interest in learning according to Islamic education that is suitable for children who have extraordinary interests. This paper will also describe the interests and learning, and the factors that influence the emergence of interests and interests in the view of Islamic education. Likewise, the factors that are seen in fostering children's interest in learning will be raised, and the characteristics of interested children and obstacles in fostering children's interest in learning. This paper is analyzed using the literature method. This paper try to find out more about how to foster learning interests of children who have extraordinary interests will be explained about the need to pay attention to the interests of children who have potential who expect help from those who are entitled to help, and more importantly in growing children's interest is encouragement in more appropriate learning that, and more importantly the child to realize and actualize the interests that exist in each child

Abstract

This article aims to unravel the concept of moderation education in the Qur'an. The method used is a qualitative analysis method by reviewing the literature on the concept of moderation education in the Qur'an, as well as other references from several articles that are considered relevant and representative. The results of the study and discussion show that moderation education is a concept that educates not to be extreme, radical, and tolerant of religion. That is the characteristic of Islam. Islam always takes the middle way in its guidance. The peaceful, moderate, and tolerant face of Islam will have an impact on peace for mankind.

Abstract

This article examines the thoughts of Hasan Al Bann, founder of the Ikhwan alMuslimun movement. The method used in examining the results of Al Banna’s thought is the literature review through books or literature related to the object being studied or supporting documents such as journals and related articles. This paper uses text studies using a hermeneutic paradigm to interpret the character of Hasan have thought. The results of the study show that Al-Ikhwan al-Muslimin was formed as a medium of the struggle of Hasan al-Banna with his friends in launching da’wah messages. Hasan al-Banna’s concept and movement is the spirit of jihad secured to all aspects of life on the basis of faith.

Abstract

Pesantren and Madrasah were born because of the acculturation of local culture and Islam, so Islamic education practitioners should be open, adaptive, and not anti-cultural. The principle that should be followed is to preserve the old values ​​or traditions that are still good and take on new values ​​or traditions that are better. That way, Islamic education will advance and modern, but not uprooted from its historical roots. The method used is a library method that focuses on the study of reference books that discuss the education of Islamic boarding schools and madrassas. The purpose of this paper is to be able to understand the meaning of pesantran / madrasa education in particular in Indonesia Cottage. Islamic boarding schools have gone through various periods of time, this shows that this Islamic educational institution shows a strong survival. This resilience was born because of the existence of idealism and consistency in the progress of his struggle. Supposedly, idealistic values ​​such as the sincerity of the kiai and his sincere commitment to maintaining and developing Islamic teachings can be used as a foothold of idealism for educational practitioners today. The goal is to make educational institutions and activities a place for commercialization and politicization, to reap profits and power.

Abstract

Terciptanya toleransi Islam dan Kristen di Kabupaten Soppeng adanya sikap antara umat Islam dan Kristen. adanya nilai-nilai budaya yang berkembang dalam masyarakat yang saling menghargai perbedaan,  idealisme toleransi di hati generasi muda akan tetap Eksis walau kasus intoleran semakin membulak.  saling menghormati antara satu dengan yang lainnya. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari kearifan lokal di antaranya; ati Mapaccing (bawaan hati yang baik), Amaredekangeng (demokrasi), Assimellereng (kesetiakawanan sosial), Mappasitinajah (Kepatutan) dan bentuk toleransi antara umat beragama dalam masyarakat Kabupaten Soppeng meliputi: fase sebelum kemerdekaan. Rakyat kerajaan Soppeng dengan tangan terbuka menerima kedatangan pemerintah kolonial Belanda yang membawa salah satu misi untuk menyebarluaskan ajaran Kristen walaupun pada umumnya masyarakat menganut ajaran Islam.; fase setelah kemerdekaan dapat ditinjau dari dua dekade yakni pada masa orde Lama dan orde Baru. Sikap saling menghormati antara sesama sehingga sikap toleransi dapat terwujud antar umat beragama, dengan berlapang dada menghormati keyakinan mereka, sehingga membawa kepada kehidupan yang damai, harmonis dan sentosa, Untuk itu dianjurkan untuk bersikap lemah lembut pada sesama baik yang beragama Islam maupun yang beragama Nasrani atau lainnya

Toachieve this, students must be fostered to become adults, that is, they havethe level of humanization, the level of homanization, the complete level,the internalization of values, and the level of self-reliance; while theFunction of Islamic Education is as an instrument of maintaining anddeveloping cultural values and community norms (Islam) and as a meansof making changes (innovation) through science and skills. Islamiceducation is essentially a process of cultural formation and transformation.The mission of Islamic education is internalization of cultural values intoeducational activities, education as a vehicle for the socialization ofcultural values, closing the space of contamination of negative globalcultural influences, and developing cultural values of work ethics. Thestrategy of Islamic education is learning orientation, flexible organization excellent service, and continuous and accommodating.
