Abstract

Motivation to learn history can be interpreted as a driving force for carrying out historical learning activities that come from within and also from outside the individual so as to foster enthusiasm in learning history. How strong an individual's motivation will determine the quality of the behavior he displays, one of which is the behavior of loving the motherland. A sense of love for the motherland needs to be cultivated in the soul of every individual from an early age who becomes a citizen of a country or nation so that the goal of living together can be achieved. This study aims to find out what is meant by motivation to learn history and how important is the feeling of love for the motherland in students. The essence of human beings as national and state creatures is to love their own nation and country. As a good citizen, you should have a sense of love for your nation. Proud to be part of the Indonesian nation is a light example in efforts to defend the country. The younger generation is one of Indonesia's assets in the future. Indonesian youth must have a strong sense of love for their country in order to become leaders in the future. Efforts to instill a cultural characteristic of this nation to differentiate it from people from other countries.In addition, the existence of a local culture that is inherent in Indonesian youth will be able to strengthen identity and pride as an Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Seeing the learning process is a process of communication that school is a world that is bound by its own small communication. The success of an educational process is not only measured from the cognitive aspect of students, but no less important in terms of affective and psychomotor aspects are also determining factors for the success of an educational process. Therefore, in addition to family and the environment, when children enter the world of education, teachers also play an important role in shaping the attitudes of their students, especially attitudes related to students' sense of love for their homeland, namely student nationalism. By using the VCT model, educators are forced to slowly start instilling the values of nationalism. Through a learning model that is able to create a society that has an attitude of nationalism and patriotism to increase the behavior of nationalism of students so that they have character and temperament.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh penggunaan media film dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Ulakan Tapakis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penggunaan media Film terhadap Hasil Belajar Sejarah berupa Pemahaman fakta Kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Kec Ulakan Tapakis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian pretest-Posttest Control Group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPS yang berjumlah 64 orang. Sampel dalam penelian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling, karena hanya terdiri dari 2 kelas dan seluruh populasi langsung menjadi sampel. Dimana untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berdasarkan cabut lot. Teknik analisis data penelitian adalah uji hipotesis melalui uji t pada taraf nyata 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media film bagus untuk menginterpretasikan fakta sejarah dibandingkan metode ceramah. Namun setelah dianalisis lebih lanjut ternyata berdasarkan pola perkembangan atau gerak perubahan penggunaan media film ini lebih bagus. Selanjutnya berdasarkan topik Perang Dunia ternyata penggunaan media film bagus untuk materi pengulangan. Berdasarkan analisis di atas diyakini bahwa penggunaan media film lebih bagus jika cara belajar siswa terstruktur, dengan sistim diskusi kelompok. Dengan demikian dapat disarankan agar guru mengemukakan struktur materi yang akan dipelajari anak, kemudian guru menyuruh anak untuk belajar di rumah sebelum belajar di sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to be an initial study of collecting information about students' low interest in learning history by applying the Small Group Discussion learning method to learning History in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) using two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, this Classroom Action Research is a Quantitative Research. The results found in this study were that the majority of students with a lack of interest in learning history in Class X Motorcycle Engineering, many students thought that learning history was boring due to the use of learning methods that were less interesting, less interactive, and did not involve students directly in use of learning methods. That's why an innovation is needed in the form of a history learning method. The Small Group Discussion Method is recommended for history teachers as a method that can be a solution to the problems raised so that learning history is expected to be more enjoyable learning and the goals of learning history can be fulfilled.

Abstract

The use of museums as a source for studying history can add broad insights for students. One example is making the museum collection a source of study. The museum collection is supposed to be used to add information, insights, and to increase interest in studying history. The study is a qualitative description that aims to identify the availability of museum Adityawarman history sources. The object in this study is a historical or museum collection. Some historical sources in museums include libraries, sites/temples, relics, textbooks, encyclopedias, the Internet, maps, atlas, newspapers, historical dictionaries, archives, historiography works, and other written sources. The museum’s mollection of relics of ancient human life, the roots of Indonesian ancestors, of pre-racial cultures, and of object during the colonization of Europe.
