Abstract

This study discusses the function of the website of the Communication Studies Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication at UIN Alauddin Makassar as a medium in supporting the tri potency of students in Communication Science, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Alauddin Makassar. The purpose of the research is to find out the function of the website of the Department of Communication Science, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Alauddin University Makassar in supporting student tri potency, as well as to find out the efforts made to support tri potency and attract students' interest in using the website. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using data collection methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. There are three stages of data processing and analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the function of the website of the Communication Studies Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, apart from being a medium of information through the news presented, can also function as a medium in supporting the tri potency possessed through the work produced. News Column, Student Talk, Inspiration, and Community are filled by Communication Science students who become reports through the results of the selection made by the website manager.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang stereotifikasi perempuan yang terdapat dalam iklan di televisi dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk stereotifikasi perempuan dalam iklan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai pesan-pesan dakwah yang dominan dalam iklan di televisi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma kritik untuk mengungkap kepentingan ideologi kapitalis yang terdapat dalam iklan di televisi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis dokumen. Sedangkan, teknik analisis data adalah analisis semiotika Judith Williamson.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk stereotifikasi perempuan yang terdapat dalam iklan berupa adegan yang memposisikan perempuan sebagai kaum subordinat yang termarjinalkan dengan penggambaran fisik dan perilaku yang menyimpang. Stereotifikasi perempuan dapat dilihat dari berbagai adegan yang menampilkan perempuan dengan sikap kasar terhadap ayahnya. Adapun pesan dakwah yang terdapat pada Iklan tersebut, yaitu anjuran untuk selalu menggunakan produk halal sesuai dengan anjuran Islam yang terdapat dalam Q.S. Al-Baqarah ayat 168, yang menjelaskan tentang kewajiban untuk mengkonsumsi makanan dan minuman yang halal dan baik.Implikasi dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stereotifikasi dalam iklan bukanlah sebuah hal yang tabu melainkan sudah menjadi sebuah keharusan dalam media saat ini. Stereotifikasi perempuan dalam iklan di televisi menjadi salah satu contoh bahwa penyajian iklan tidak dapat terlepas dari stereotip. Representasi wanita yang cenderung ditempatkan pada posisi subordinat sedangkan pria menjadi kaum superior banyak ditemukan pada media saat ini. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa ajaran Islam menguatkan budaya patriarki yang berlangsung cukup lama dalam budaya Indonesia. Dengan kata lain, nilai Islam yang terdapat dalam Iklan di televisi sesungguhnya menguatkan sistem budaya patriarki yang ada di Indonesia secara umum. Sebaliknya, pandangan atau gagasan ini dapat berubah ketika diadaptasikan pada ruang publik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Pola komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja (studi kasus di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram). Bagaimana pola komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan untuk meningkatkan motivasi kerja di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram dan Faktor apa yang menghambat dan mendukung proses komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui pola dan proses komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan dalam membangun motivasi kerja di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram dan Untuk mengetahui faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat proses komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan dalam membangun motivasi kerja di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan komunikasi dan psikologi. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah HRD , karyawan Reporter, karyawan Periklanan, karyawan Sirkulasi, karyawan Layout/Design, Karyawan percetakan, Selanjutnya, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan digolongkan menjadi dua sumber yaitu, 1) data sekunder terdiri dari kajian kepustakaan konseptual dan hasil penelitian terdahulu 2) data primer terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pola komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram adalah komunikasi yang bersifat non formal dengan cara persuasif lebih sering mereka gunakan dalam berkomunikasi agar dapat membuat kedekatan antara karyawan dan pimpinan dan Faktor-faktor yang menghambat dan mendukung proses komunikasi organisasi antara pimpinan dan karyawan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja di PT Harian Amanah Al Haram adalah faktor penghambatnya ialah kesalahpahaman atau miss communication. jika sejak awal komunikasi terbangun antara pimpinan dan karyawan mengalami kesalahpahaman atau gangguan dalam membangun sebuah komunikasi di dalam organisasi. Sedangkan faktor pendukungnya ialah media salah satu faktor pendukung dalam proses terjadinya komunikasi di dalam perusahaan

Abstract

This research aims to discover and explain the Mandar people's representation in semiotic studies. This research uses qualitative research methods using representation theory. The data in this research was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Then from this data, research was produced that showed that the representation of the Mandar community is a religious community. These accomplished and brave sailors maintain and uphold the customs and traditions of their predecessors and are very firm in keeping their promises. The research implications include that symbols should be provided at the borders of Polewali Mandar Regency, the government should increase the number of books regarding local cultural values in Polewali Mandar, regional symbols, and the history of Polewali Mandar

Abstract

This study aims to determine community empowerment efforts through the management of Telaga Biru Sharia Tourism and to find out the form of community economic business in the management of Telaga Biru Sharia Tourism in Lempong Village, Bola District, Wajo Regency. In explaining this journal, the type of research is descriptive qualitative using a sociological approach method. Primary data sources obtained based on the results of informant interviews and secondary data sources collected through relevant books and documents. Observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods used. Data management and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation (display data), and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that there are two community empowerment efforts through the management of Telaga Biru Sharia Tourism, namely: 1) Recruiting local residents as labor 2) Provision of facilities to support community economic activities. The form of community economic business in the management of Telaga Biru Sharia Tourism is 1) Culinary Business 2) Souvenir business 3) Buoy rental service business around Telaga Biru Sharia Tourism

Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively analyze the complex interactions between voter preferences, social media, and election dynamics by reviewing existing global research documents and identifying trends, key findings, and knowledge gaps that need to be filled. This research uses a bibliometric analysis approach with data from Scopus and the Vosviewer analysis tool to visualize the data. The main findings of this research show that political dynamics increasingly influenced by social media, especially related to the spread of fake news, polarization, and populism, significantly impact voter preferences. However, these three themes, namely fake news, polarization, and populism, still require deeper study in the future due to the lack of related research. In addition, to fill research gaps, it is also necessary to develop more sophisticated analytical models, including the application of artificial intelligence and voting algorithms, to understand the influence of new technologies in the political context and how this may shape voters' preferences in the future. The study also suggests implementing stricter policies, including increasing digital literacy and accountability of social media platforms, to ensure fairer and more transparent elections in the digital era. With these steps, it is hoped that future elections will be more honest, transparent, and free from the negative influence of social media.

Abstract

The main issue of this study is how the implementation of PT CLM's community development and empowerment program (PPM) based on local wisdom can improve community independence in East Luwu Regency. This study has two research questions: 1) How does local wisdom support the success of the PPM program implemented by PT CLM in East Luwu Regency? 2) What are PT CLM's strategies for implementing local wisdom to increase economic independence through the PPM program in East Luwu Regency? This study uses descriptive qualitative research with a community empowerment approach, which emphasizes active community participation and the utilization of local potential as the foundation for economic development. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques, with data sources including PT CLM PPM managers, Rumah Coklat managers, and Laskap Village officials. The results of this study indicate that the Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) program, particularly Rumah Coklat, is able to utilize local wisdom in the form of cocoa farming traditions, mutual cooperation values, and the community's generational knowledge of cocoa management. The integration of these local potentials encourages an increase in product added value, opens up business opportunities, and strengthens the community's capacity to manage businesses independently. The strategies implemented by PT CLM include training, technical assistance, provision of processing facilities, and continuous collaboration with the local community. The conclusion of this study confirms that the implementation of PPM based on local wisdom by PT CLM has contributed positively to improving the economic independence of the Laskap Village community through strengthening production capacity, increasing knowledge, and developing cocoa-based businesses. The implications of this research indicate that the development of community empowerment programs based on local wisdom can be a model for sustainable empowerment, strengthening community economic resilience, and emphasizing the importance of collaboration between companies, communities, and governments in development practices based on local potential.

Abstract

Background:  Most of the people of Dwi Tiro Village, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia had a livelihood as farmers, which causes the area to have great potential in its agricultural sector but the ongoing problems of development inequality hinder this potential. Objective: The development of agropolitan areas in this region represents the most appropriate government effort to accelerate development. Using a qualitative case study approach with observation, interviews, and documentation, this study aims to analyze the potential of agropolitan areas through agribusiness-based development in Dwi Tiro Village by examining the forms and strategies of agropolitan area development. Methods: This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to analyze in depth the potential and development of agropolitan areas based on agribusiness systems in Dwi Tiro Village, Bontotiro District, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi. Results: The results of this study show that the development of agropolitan areas in Dwi Tiro Village is carried out with several strategies: namely village deliberation before determining the program, strengthening institutions and capacity of agribusiness actors and providing infrastructure and supporting facilities for agribusiness. Furthermore, the form of agropolitan area development includes several things, namely development based on superior potentials and commodities, integrated development of agricultural and livestock businesses and finally strengthening institutions and supporting facilities. Conclusion: This study is expected to serve as a guide for village governments in developing agropolitan areas founded on superior local potential and agribusiness-based development, and as a reference for strengthening institutions and supporting facilities to sustain agribusiness activities.
