Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the skills dropshoot blow on students who take high school extracurricular badminton in Pontianak 09. The research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive survey, involving one dependent variable which blows dropshoot badminton skills. with a sample of 20 students. These results indicate dropshoot blow skills in students who take extracurricular badminton at SMAN 09 Pontianak is at 5% is in excellent category, 70% were in the good category, 25% were in the category of pretty and 0% were in the low category. Based on the results of this study demonstrate skills dropshoot blow on students who take extracurricular badminton at SMAN 09 Pontianak in either category that is equal to 75%. Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keterampilan pukulan dropshoot pada siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis di SMA 09 Pontianak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang berupa survei, yang melibatkan satu variabel terikat yaitu keterampilan pukulan dropshoot bulutangkis. dengan jumlah sampel 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan keterampilan pukulan dropshoot pada siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis di SMAN 09 Pontianak adalah sebesar 5% berada dalam kategori baik sekali, 70% berada dalam kategori baik, 25% berada dalam kategori cukup dan 0% berada dalam kategori kurang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keterampilan pukulan dropshoot pada siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis di SMAN 09 Pontianak masuk dalam kategori baik yaitu sebesar 75%. Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of gotong royong culture on social harmony and community economic development in Teluk Pambang Pesisir village. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The results show that gotong royong culture has a significant influence in strengthening social relationships among community members, building a sense of togetherness, and increasing trust among community members. Through gotong royong activities, communities can build infrastructure and facilities needed to develop the local economy. However, there are still challenges in developing gotong royong culture. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen and maintain gotong royong culture so that it can continue to have a positive impact on social harmony and community economic development in Teluk Pambang Pesisir village

Abstract

The ranking of the Ministry of Religion Universities is far behind compared to the Ministry of Education and Culture Universities according to webometrics and Unirank. This is an indicator of the digital divide. With equal Internet access, there should be no digital divide. The purpose of this study was to determine the digital divide between students from the Ministry of Religion Universities and students from the Ministry of Education and Culture Universities. The theory used in this study is the theory of digital divide which includes three aspects, namely access divide, usage divide, and quality of use divide. The population in this study was 8,825,981 students with a sample of 424 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random with a standard error of 4.82%. The data analysis technique used the SPSS compare means one way ANOVA test. The results showed that the access divide and the usage divide did not experience a digital divide with a significance value of 0.80 and 0.909, respectively. Meanwhile, the quality of use divide experienced a digital gap with a significance value of 0.024. The digital divide occurs in the quality of students' use of information and communication technology. The average quality of the use of information and communication technology among university students of the Ministry of Education and Culture is higher than that of university students of the Ministry of Religion. There needs to be an effort from the Ministry of Religion in making policies so that the use of information and communication technology in Higher Education students of the Ministry of Religion is of higher quality, especially in accessing national and international journals.

Abstract

This study is prompted by the inadequate reading interest and comprehension of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru regarding descriptive texts in English. The primary issues found encompass insufficient student engagement in reading, challenges in comprehending language and text content, and a restricted application of appropriate instructional tactics by the educator. The objective of this research is to evaluate the efficacy of the SQ4R method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review, Reflect) in enhancing students' reading comprehension of descriptive texts. The study utilizes a quantitative methodology featuring a pre-test and post-test framework. The population comprises all Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru for the 2024/2025 academic year, with the total number are 251 students. The researcher employed purposive sampling to pick grade X6 as the sample, which initially comprised 35 students; however, only 19 participated in the study. The primary data comprises reading comprehension test scores obtained prior to and subsequent to the application of the SQ4R approach. The data collection equipment comprised a reading test and questionnaires. The data analysis methods employed included descriptive statistical analysis and t-tests to assess the significance of differences between pre-test and post-test outcomes. The students' reading proficiency was commendable, and the study indicated an enhancement in the average reading comprehension score from 72.37 in the pre-test to 87.63 in the post-test following the implementation of the SQ4R approach, resulting in an elevation of students' reading ability to an excellent level. In conclusion, the SQ4R method demonstrated efficacy in improving students' reading comprehension of descriptive texts and is advocated as an alternate instructional strategy for reading in senior high schools.
