Abstract

ABSTRACT   This research aims to determine the effect of age on the growth and transplanting rice production by using the system of planting methods SRI ( System of Rice Intencification ) carried out in the village of Sulu District of Tatapaan for 4 months from May to September 2014. The research used randomized block design with treatment age transplanting U1 ( 0 HSS ) , U2 ( 10 HSS ) , U3 ( 15 HSS ) . Data were analyzed using the F test and continued with Least Significant Difference test level of 5 % .  Broadcaster age transplanting significant effect on plant height and number of tillers , and no real effect on the number of productive tillers , dry grain harvest weight , 1000 grain weight , the weight of milled rice per plot , weight of dry milled grain per plant , and productivity .  The treatment gives the best results in the production of which is the U3 treatment with seedling transplanting age 15 HSS . Keywoards : transplanting age, SRI method, rice

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research aims to study the characteristic of the growth components of purple cornF1resulted from open pollinated between Yellow Manadocornandpurplecorn. Research carried out invillages ofKalasey 2,Mandolangsub-district,Minahasa regency, Province of North Sulawesi during 4 months from June toSeptember 2017.This research was arranged to describe the growthand yield characteristics of purple corn. Seed source used as the treatmentsis:U1 = The seed of purple corn from the fries ear, U2 = The seed of purple corn from the second ear, U3 = The Seed of purple corn from the third ear, U4 = The seed coof purple corn from the fourth ear, U5 = The seed of purple corn from the fifth ear.The results showed that the components of highplant andheight of ear position  plant height the highest is obtained from treatment U5 in contrast to the components in the diameter of the stem to be obtained from the U2 treatment being handed out. The coefficiency of variance of the growth and yield components showed low (less than 25%).  Keywords : corn characterization, purple corn

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to acknowledge the effect of organic fertilizing the growth and production of sweet corn which in carried out in the Village of Kauneran Satu, Sonder Sub-District during 3 months start from July – October 2018. The method of this researchment are use randomized group design with four behaviors A) None fertilizer, B) 300kg/ha of Phonska plus fertilizer, + 300 kg Urea/ha, C) 20 ton/ha organic water hyacinth fertilizer + 10 ton fertilizer from animals, D) 20 ton/ha Hydrilla Verticillata Organic fertilizer + 10 ton fertilizer from animals. The observed variable is the dried weight of the plant, the length of the cabbage, the diameter of the cabbage and the fresh weight of the sweet corn cob was measured and weighed after the sweet corn harvest. Studies have shown that treatment C 20 tons/ha organic water hyacinth fertilizer + 10 tons fertilizer from animals gives a good response to the sweet corn. Key words: Fertilizer Organic, Sweet Corn
