Abstract

Tourism is also a human need. Tourism can be both refreshing and educational. The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the main facilities provided as a tourist attraction; 2) supporting facilities provided as a tourist attraction; and 3) complementary facilities provided as a tourist attraction for the Hortimart Agro Center. The research method used qualitative by using observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used a qualitative description. The results showed that: (1) the main facilities as a tourist attraction of Hortimart Agro Center regarding cleanliness are sufficient, comfort is sufficient, and beauty is satisfactory or good; (2) supporting facilities as a tourist attraction for the hortimart agro center regarding accommodation that is sufficient, where to eat meets, parking area is fulfilling, where for shopping is fulfilling, and transportation is fulfilling; and (3) complementary facilities as a tourist attraction hortimart agro center regarding sufficiently adequate toilets, meeting places of worship, satisfying tour guides, and adequate information centers.

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata sebagai kegiatan perekonomian telah menjadi andalan dan prioritas pengembangan bagi sejumlah negara, terlebih bagi negara berkembang seperti Indonesia yang memiliki potensi wilayah yang luas dengan adanya daya tarik wisata cukup besar, banyaknya keindahan alam, aneka warisan sejarah budaya dan kehidupan masyarakat. Akan tetapi kuliner-kuliner tersebut belum dikemas sedemikian rupa untuk menarik minat wisatawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis potensi kawasan wisata kuliner di kota Semarang Jawa Tengah dan mengidentifkasi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan wisata kuliner dalam menunjang pariwisata di kota Semarang Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Metode analisa data adalah deskriptif kualitatif serta menggunakan analisis SWOT. Dalam melakukan analisa data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder maupun data primer. Data sekunder diperoleh dari beberapa pelaku kuliner di Kota Semarang, dan beberapa orang yang menyukai wisata kuliner seperti Kepala Dinas Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang, Kepala Bidang Pariwisata di Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang , dan beberapa pegawai Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan memiliki banyak sekali makanan khas yang sudah dikenal wisatawan yang dapat di kunjungi dan sangat di minati oleh para wisatawan dan itu menjadikan ikon wisata kuliner di kota ini. Ikon wisata kuliner Kota Semarang adalah Pindang Serani, Tahu Gimbal, Lumpia Gang Lombok, Babat Gongso Pak Karmin, Es Cong Lik, Mie Kopyok Pak Dhuwur, Kue Lekker Paimo, Pisang Plenet dan masing banyak yang lainnya.

Abstract

One of the areas that still try to preserves Central Javanese culture is Jungsemi Tourism Village, Kangkung District, Kendal Regency, Central Java. Various kinds of culture are still preserved in the village, one of which is the Merdi Deso tradition. This is done by the community to preserve regional arts, culture and local wisdom inherited from the ancestors of the Indonesian people. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods and through observations and interviews and concepts from Ife (2014) regarding components of cultural development for data collection with the aim of finding out what cultures can be developed. Based on research results, the Jungsemi tourist village does not yet have its own local specialties, traditional dances and traditional clothing and still relies on Indah Kemangi Beach to become a leading tourist attraction, but the Jungsemi Tourism Village does not close itself off from continuing to learn and develop in order to maintain tourism to improve local economy income.
