Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out optimum amount of minarex (side product from Pertamina Jakarta) as secondary plasticizer which can be added to PVS compound in order to obtain boots compound conforming to SII 1990-86: Sepatu boot PVC. Research yield is a slab made by hydraulic press machine. 1700 C and pressure 150 kg/cm2 and the time must be suitable with the thickness. From various types of minarex used for the research, four of them can be applied as secondary plasticizer at PVC compound for boots which conforms to SII 1909-89, i.e. minarex C type 2, minarex C type 3, minarex D type 3 for five parts each. ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah maximum minarex (hasil samping dari Pertamina Jakarta) sebagai secondary plasticizer yang dapat ditambahkan pada kompon Poly Vinyl Chlorida (PVC) agar diperoleh kompon sepatu boot PVC yang memenuhi persyaratan SII 1909-86 : Sepatu boot PVC. Hasil penelitian berupa slab yang dicetak menggunakan mesin hydraulic press demgam komdisi suhu 170oC, tekanan 150 kg/cm2 dan waktunya disesuaikan dengan ketebalan. Dari berbagai jenis minarex yang dicoba ternyata ada 4 jenis minarex yang dapat digunakan sebagai secondary plasticizer pada kompon PVC untuk sepatu boot yang sesuai SII 1909-89 yaitu minarex C tipe 2, minarex C  type 3, minarex D rype 2, dan minarex D rype 3, masing-masing sebanyak 5 bagian.

Abstract

 The research about the influence of organic fertilizer of crumb rubber solid waste industry on chili plants (capsicum frutescens) growth had been done. The aim of the research was to evaluate the vegetative growth of chili plants treated with organic fertilizer that was made from crumb rubber solid waste industry and it was compared with chili plants treated was commercial organic fertilizer (SP -36). The organic fertilizer was made by mixing of soil, crumb rubber solid waste, cow fieces, talc, saw dust, and hull rices, using and aerab system. The variation of the amount of solid waste was 0%; 10%, 20%; 30%; and 40%, respectively. Fertilizing of chili plants was done by dasage variation i.e.1:1,5; and 2 kg/10m2 and control (without fertilizer) respectively. The observation was done on fourth month on vegetative growth including high plants, leaf length, and leaf width. The results showed that crumb rubber solid waste could be used as organic fertilizer for chili plants. The best growth of plants especially high was treated with 20% crumb rubber solid waste at dosage of 2 kg /10m2 is 38.2 cm, while the best growth of leaf length and leaf width was chili plant treated with 40% crumb rubber solid waste at dosage of 2 kg/10m2 was 10.0 cm and 6.2 cm.  Keywords : crumb rubber, solid waste, fertilizer, chili plants.   Penelitian tentang pengaruh pupuk organik limbah padat industri crumb rubber terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabe (capsicum frutescens) bertujuan mengevaluasi pertumbuhan vegetative tanaman cabe yang diberi limbah padat industry crumb rubber dibandingkan dengan tanaman cabe yang diberi pupuk organic dari pasaran (SP-36). Pupuk organic dibuat dengan mencampurkan tanah, limbah padat crumb rubber, kotoran sapi, kapur, serbuk gergaji, dan sekam, secara aerab dengan variasi jumlah limbah padat berturut-turut 0%; 10%, 20%; 30%; dan 40%. Pemupukan tanaman cabe dilakukan dengan variasi dosis berturut-turut 1; 1,5 ; dan              2 kg/10 m2 serta dibuat control tanpa pemupukan. Pengamatan dilakukan pada bulan ke 4, terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabe meliputi tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, dan lebar daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa limbah padat crumb rubber dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk organik untuk tanaman cabe. Perubahan tinggi tanaman paling besar pada pemberian pupuk 20% limbah padat crumb rubber dengan dosis 2 kg/ 10 m2 sebesar 38,2 cm, sedangkan perubahan panjang daun dan lebar daun paling besar pada pemberian pupuk 40% limbah crumb rubber dengan dosis                2 kg / 10 m2, yaitu panjang sebesar 10,0 cm dan lebar 6,2 cm. Kata Kunci : crumb rubber, limbah padat, pupuk, tanaman cabe.

Abstract

It has been done a research of the influence of mixed carbon black and hardness properties on the vulcanization of rubber. It has been made with additive of carbon black and china clay mixed, in total variation. The result is seen that total variation of carbon black and china clay not influence to tensile strength, but their interacton can do it. The hardness of vulcanization of rubber will be influence by total variation of carbon black china clay anad their interaction.  INTISARI             Telah dilakukan penelitian pengaruh campuran carbon black dan china clay terhadap sifat tegangan putus dan kekerasan kompon karet. Trelah dibuat kompon karet cetak vulkanisasi dengan memvariasikan jumlah campuran carbon black dan china clay. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi jumlah china clay tidak mempengaruhi nilai tegangan putus, tetapi interaksinya dapat berpengaruh sangat nyata. Kekerasan kompon karet vulkanisasi sangat dipengartuhi oleh variasi jumlah carbon black dan china clay serta interaksinya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Discipline, work experience and salary on employee performance at Caruban Madiun District Hospital. Using a quantitative method, this research involved 232 employees as respondents. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that, partially, Discipline, word experience, and salary have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, these three variables also contribute significantly to the improvement of employee performance. These findings have implications for the management of Caruban Madiun District Hospital to strengthen Discipline, enhance a fair reward system, and provide development opportunities for employees to optimize the health service performance provided to the community.
