Abstract

Rule of thirds adalah salah satu panduankomposisi yang paling dikenal oleh fotografer untukmenciptakan foto yang berkualitas [1]. Komposisi inididapatkan dengan membagi bidang gambar dalam tigabagian yang sama besar dan proporsional baikhorizontal maupun vertikal. Maka terbentuklah garisgarisimajiner dan empat titik perpotongan garisimajiner tersebut. Menurut aturan ini, sebaiknya bagianfoto yang paling menarik ditempatkan di salah satu titiktersebut [2]. Berdasarkan kajian psikologis, kemampuanmanusia untuk menilai dan mengklasifikasi estetikalebih bersifat kualitatif dan subjektif dan banyakmengacu pada persepsi visual dan ketertarikan padajenis fotografi yang berbeda-beda [3].Pada penelitian ini dibuat perangkat lunak untukmenilai komposisi rule of thirds sebuah foto. Foto dinilaidengan cara menghitung jarak antara centroid (pusatmassa suatu bangun) subjek foto dengan salah satu titikperpotongan rule of thirds yang terdekat. Centroidditentukan dengan menggunakan metode Monte Carlo,yaitu dengan cara menyebar sampel acak pada wilayahyang telah digunakan saat segmentasi subjek, kemudiansampel-sampel yang berada di area subjek akan dirataratauntuk mendapatkan centroid-nya. Jarak daricentroid ke titik perpotongan dinilai dengan menghitunghipotenusanya, setelah itu hipotenusa tersebutdibandingkan dengan hipotenusa dari keseluruhanbidang foto yang telah dikalikan dengan toleransi.Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa semakindekat jarak centroid subjek dengan salah satu titikperpotongan maka nilainya akan semakin tinggi, begitupula jika jarak centroid dengan salah satu titikperpotongan semakin jauh, maka nilainya akan semakinrendah. Namun, jika jarak antara centroid subjekdengan salah satu titik perpotongan terlalu jauh, makafoto dianggap tidak sesuai dengan rule of thirds dannilainya 0 (nol). Hal ini terjadi karena posisi subjekberada di tengah-tengah bidang foto.Kata Kunci—Aturan Sepertiga, Centroid, CitraFotografi, Estetika, Fotografi, Komposisi Fotografi,Integrasi Monte Carlo, Otsu Threshold, Rule of Thirds.

Abstract

The condition of the broiler cage during the rearing period can affect the quality of the chicken meat produced. Conditions in the cage that are not comfortable for chickens can cause disease and inhibit the growth of chickens. One of the main factors that can affect the condition of the chicken coop is the temperature and humidity of the air. A comfortable temperature for chickens is between 19oC to 33oC, and humidity is between 30%RH to 70%RH. In addition, the air in the chicken coop is also susceptible to being polluted by ammonia gas produced from chicken manure. Ammonia gas with concentrations exceeding 25ppm for more than 8 hours can harm the health of chickens and breeders. The purpose of this study was to design a system that can monitor conditions in the chicken coop in the form of temperature, humidity, and ammonia gas concentration. The system uses a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, and an MQ-135 gas sensor. The system made can measure temperature and humidity, with an average error of 1.97% for temperature, and 3.55% for humidity. Meanwhile, the results of the measurement of ammonia gas concentration have approached the characteristics in the datasheet. The stored measurement data is visualized on the ThingSpeak web application. In addition, the system can also send warning messages via the Telegram application when the measurement value is abnormal or there is a sudden change in value.Keywords: Broiler, temperature, humidity, ammonia gas

Abstract

The Center for Domestic Trade Studies of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia stated that chicken meat is one of the main commodities in meeting the animal protein needs of the community. This causes the community's need for broiler meat to be quite high. The high number of people's need for broilers makes the health of broilers something that deserves attention. The environmental condition of the chicken coop is one of the factors that affect the health of chickens. To maintain the health of chickens, it is very important to create a comfortable atmosphere for chickens, by paying attention to air circulation and humidity, and adjusting the density of the cage. For now, monitoring temperature and humidity, as well as setting the density of the cage is still carried out manually will take a lot of time and require a lot of manpower. For this reason, we need an application that can help monitor the temperature, humidity, and density of the cage. In this study, an application design assisted by the PyQt5 library will be carried out and aims to monitor the temperature, humidity, behavior, and distribution of chickens through an application that will be developed with the help of Internet of Things technology and Computer Vision technology. Abstract

Surveillance is necessary in the medical world, especially in the case of diseases with high transmission rates. Quarantine is imposed on people who have infected to prevent transmission. In the quarantine process, surveillance plays an important role in keeping the position of people who are under quarantine in the permitted zone, to do that, a device can be used to detect the location of these people and provide warnings if someone leaves the quarantine zone. Geofencing is defined as a perimeter for real-world geographic areas. The term geofencing refers to the technology to draw virtual boundaries on maps and trigger certain actions based on the boundaries. The application of geofencing in this research uses the radius method with a circle-shaped geofencing zone and the center point of the circle as a reference. If the distance of the object from the center point is greater than the radius of the geofencing zone, it indicates that the object is outside the geofencing zone. When the object coordinates exceed the specified radius (radius of the circle) then the system will trigger the apps to bring up a notification, so that the supervisor can act immediately. The application of geofencing can simplify the surveillance process because the supervisor can know exactly the location of the person being surveilled and can quickly take action if someone leaves the geofencing zone. Abstract

Snapixa is an application to make a landing page, owned by Startup Codelaris, which was made in May 2018. This application is still in the pre-release stage, so there are still many usability issues in the application until it is finally released. This study was evaluated to measure the level of usability using the Usability Testing method so as to produce recommendations for improvement by measuring aspects of learnability where the results are 97.65% meaning that the success rate of respondents is good, the aspect of efficiency is 0.0003 goals / sec or the time to complete a task 3 times longer than the expert user, the error aspect of 0.010 means that the respondent's error is relatively small. Satisfaction uses the System Usabilty Scale questionnaire to find out whether the system is suitable for use with 20 active users and the result is 50% -63% meaning it needs to be increased again. Participants tested 8 new users divided into 3 segments, 3 people aged 19-30, 3 people 31-40 and 2 people 41-54 years. Interviews were conducted to explore problems from the application so that they could be evaluated. Based on the results of usability testing and interviews found 9 problems such as user trouble finding the layout of the button elements, the function of the button elements, monochrome colors, input links, save button locations, and changing passwords. From these problems, recommendations for improvement were obtained according to usability guidelines where the results of recommendations for improvement still did not succeed in solving the problem because there was no design and implementation.

Abstract

A brushless DC motor, also known as a brushless DC motor (BLDC motor), is a type of synchronous motor. The BLDC motor used has advantages over ordinary DC motors, including not causing a brush, higher efficiency, almost no sound, long life, and other advantages. The purpose of this study was to determine the speed of the BLDC motor in steady state when the hall sensor wasdelayed and the torque load changed and to determine the settling time of the BLDC motor speed when the hall sensor was delayed and the torque load was changed. This control uses a delay that is installed on the hall sensor before entering the controller. This system is made with the simulation method on the PSIM application. Tests carried out using delay changes at values of 0 seconds, 0.002 seconds, 0.004 seconds, 0.006 seconds, 0.008 seconds and 0.01 seconds. Tests were also carried outusing changes in torque load on BLDC motors with values of 1 Nm, 2 Nm, 4 Nm, and 8 Nm. Based on the results of testing the change in delay and torque load on the BLDC motor, the delay value at the hall sensor commutation and the torque load value is inversely proportional to the BLDC motor speed and the settling time at BLDC motor speed is directly proportional to the torque load value on the BLDC motor and inversely proportional to the delay on hall sensor commutation in delay conditions 0.008 seconds and 0.01 seconds. Abstract

3-Phase Inverter is a type of electronic device that converts a DC voltage source into a 3-Phase AC voltage source, which there are 6 switching components works alternately are used as input power in the operation of a BLDC Motor. MOSFET is a type of switching components that is usually used because it has high efficiency at low voltage levels and has advantages at high switching speeds. The purpose of this study is to design and simulate a system to determine the effect of a decrease in battery voltage on the resulting losses which affect the efficiency of the switching in the speed control applications of BLDC Motor Controller. The test was carried out by simulating a circuit to control the speed of BLDC Motor in one battery discharge cycle using the MATLAB Simulink application. In this test, the State of Chargae (SoC) is recorded, the voltage and current are generated by the battery, the VDS and IDS flowing through the MOSFET, also the results of PIN and POUT. Recording is done in a range of SoC values of 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, and 20%. Speed control on BLDC Motors is designed using a controller that has feedback with a setpoint of 200 RPM. Based on the results of the testing the voltage drop due to power consumption in the operation of the BLDC Motor, obtained an increase in losses in the switching components. So that the voltage drop is inversely proportional to the losses of the switching components, and the greater the power dissipation generated, the efficiency of the switching components will decrease. Abstract

Current technological developments continue to increase in various fields, especially in the field of transportation. The emergence of electric vehicles is the most highlighted today. Electric vehicles are vehicles sourced from electric power that are supplied into the main system as motor drives, one of which is the BLDC Motor. One of the most important things on this system is the voltage source. One of the widely used and developed voltage sources is lithium-ion batteries. However, the use of a single voltage source has several disadvantages, one of which is charging the battery too long, causing too frequent charging and resulting in reduced capability on the battery. The use of multiple voltage sources was chosen in order to reduce the intensity of charging too often. To regulate the use of both voltage sources alternately when the motor is working, two inverters are used to regulate the change of the voltage source. Control of both inverters is regulated by the commutation logic of both inverters and control through the duty cycle on each inverter with different values in the range of State of Charge values of the predetermined battery 1. This research was conducted by simulation using Simulink software which is useful for running simulations in real time and knowing the success of changing voltage sources in the system. Based on simulations, the replacement of the voltage source can be done under the condition that the system is still working and the two inverters are able to work alternately. The test was conducted when battery SoC 1 was at a value of 50% with a duty cycle value of 0.6 for each system. Abstract

The nutritional status of toddlers is a factor that needs to be considered in maintaining their health because toddlerhood is a developmental period that is vulnerable to nutrition. Death cases in toddlers are one factor in the lack of monitoring by local governments. It is necessary to carry out activities to observe and anticipate problems to take action as early as possible. This problem can be solved using the help of Decision Support Systems and Geographic Information Systems. Machine learning-based deep learning methods are employed as alternative algorithms for Decision Support Systems. Deep learning is considered a very promising approach due to its ability to analyze and extract patterns from data, afterwards applying these patterns to address following challenges. The selection of a Geographic Information Systems was conducted by employing the k-means clustering technique in order to create a visual representation of the zone groupings within each region. The accuracy of the deep learning method for determining nutritional status was found to be 95.24%. In the context of mapping regional zone groupings, it is noteworthy that the k-means clustering method exhibits a remarkable accuracy rate of 100% in relation to the true value. Based on the obtained findings, it can be inferred that the deep learning and k-means clustering techniques exhibit a high level of accuracy in discerning nutritional status and delineating regional zone groupings.

Abstract

In dynamic and wide networks, such as Metropolitan Mesh Network (MMN), routing becomes very complex because a packet can be blocked before it reaches its destination. In addition, users can also log in or log out from network topology. Therefore, a good routing algorithm, which is able to reduce time in network update process or when there is an error in the network, are required. Routing problems can be represented as the shortest path problem to facilitate completion. In this paper, a routing algorithm optimization using Adaptive Mutation Genetic Algorithm (AMGA) on MMN is presented by determining a probability of 0.000005782 at the beginning, with crossover probability of 0.000847, to reduce or avoid premature convergence.
