Melalui pembentukan/ pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter yang diinternalisasikan menjadi pribadi yang unggul akan menghasilkan mutu lulusan yang unggul. Abstract

This community dedication describes an effort to improve the quality of education at Primaganda Jombang High School by focusing on the development of teacher competence in the professional field. Approaches used include intensive training, sustained support, and a change in the leadership strategy of the head of school. The program aims to improve learning skills, teaching skills, effective classroom management, and the motivation of teachers and students. The results of community dedication show a significant improvement in teacher competence. They have a better understanding of the subject matter and are able to apply more innovative teaching methods. More effective classroom management creates a more dynamic learning environment, which is reflected in improved student learning outcomes and reduced absences. Moreover, a more inclusive and teacher-development-oriented head of school leadership strategy has created a positive school climate. Teachers feel supported in their professional development and are more motivated. This program not only provides direct benefits to Jombang Primaganda High School but also has the potential to be adopted as a model for other schools. Investing in teacher competence development and changing leadership strategies is an important step in improving the quality of education. Continuous evaluation and sustained commitment are needed to ensure the sustainability of these positive impacts and disseminate best practices throughout the educational community. This community commitment reflects a commitment to improved education and sustainable growth at the high school level.

Abstract

The professional competence of teachers is very important, because professional teachers are able to create a conducive learning climate, a challenging learning atmosphere, and are able to learn in a fun way. Therefore, the professional competence of a good teacher can make students enthusiastic in learning. This study aims to determine: 1. How is the professional competence of fiqh teachers at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang. 2. How is the student's motivation to learn in fiqh subjects at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang 3. Is there any influence of teacher professional competence on students' motivation to learn in fiqh subjects at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang. This research is a field research, using a quantitative approach where the data collection technique uses a questionnaire or questionnaire. For data processing using the percentage formula and a simple regression formula. The results of this study stated that the professional competence of fiqh teachers was included in the moderate category because 68% of 63 students stated the medium category, and students' learning motivation showed the medium category with a percentage of 69.8% of 63 students stated the medium category. There is a low influence of the professional competence of fiqh teachers on student learning motivation at MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Tebuireng Jombang, because from computerized calculations the effect is only 6.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of internal stakeholders in efforts to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 Wonosalam, Jombang. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and the analysis of related documents. The respondents to this study were teachers, principals, and administrative staff at SMP Negeri 1 Wonosalam, Jombang. The results of the study show that internal stakeholders play an important role in efforts to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 Wonosalam, Jombang. Teachers have a key role in providing quality teaching, developing relevant curricula, and managing effective and innovative learning. The principal is responsible for leading and managing the school, facilitating teacher professional development, and creating a conducive school climate for learning. Administrative staff plays a role in supporting the smooth administration and management of the school. Collaboration between internal stakeholders is also important in improving the quality of education. Teachers work together with school principals and administrative staff in developing educational programs, monitoring and evaluating learning, and making decisions related to quality improvement. Good communication between internal stakeholders is also a key factor in overcoming challenges and achieving common goals. This research provides a better understanding of the role of internal stakeholders in efforts to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 Wonosalam, Jombang. The implications of this research are expected to provide input for education policymakers, school principals, teachers, and administrative staff to improve the quality of education by optimizing the role of internal stakeholders

Abstract

Express Islamic Boarding School is an intensive and effective method of religious education for students, increasing their faith and Islamic knowledge. This research aims to provide assistance to the Kilat Santri Tarbiyah Putra Islamic Boarding School, with a focus on developing the quality of teaching and learning as well as managing the activities of the Lightning Islamic Boarding School. The research was carried out through a participatory approach involving Islamic boarding school administrators, teachers, and students. Assistance steps include needs mapping, preparation of teaching programs, teacher training, and regular evaluation. Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of ISMA’U Lampung members in strategically and sustainably managing their organizational image. A strong organizational image is essential in building public trust, expanding networks, and increasing member engagement. However, the lack of awareness among members regarding the importance of organizational branding has led to a weak public presence of ISMA’U. The activity was held at the ISMA’U Lampung Secretariat, located in the Jombang, over two days in August 2025, using lectures and interactive discussions as the primary techniques. The materials covered included the concept of organizational image, public communication strategies, and the importance of consistent visual identity. The results showed a significant increase in awareness, understanding, and the emergence of strong commitment among participants to form a media team, develop a content calendar, and enhance the organization’s identity. The participatory approach proved effective in fostering collective awareness and behavioral change within the organization. Therefore, this activity contributes to strengthening the internal capacity of community-based organizations rooted in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools).

Abstract

This study underscores the importance of effective financial management in the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure at MA Al Washoya Ngoro Jombang, aiming to support optimal learning processes. Effective financial management is essential to ensure that the madrasah can provide adequate facilities in line with established educational standards. The objective of this research is to analyze how financial management is implemented at MA Al Washoya, focusing on planning, inventory, and evaluation related to the procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure.The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The study examines the financial planning process involving the Waka Sarpras, fund allocation based on annual work meetings, and how inventory and financial evaluation are conducted to ensure proper and efficient use of funds.The findings reveal that financial management at MA Al Washoya is functioning reasonably well; however, there are areas requiring improvement, particularly in optimizing procurement and maintenance of existing facilities and infrastructure. The evaluation indicates that, although facilities and infrastructure have been planned and procured, better maintenance is needed to ensure their sustainability. The study recommends that the madrasah be more proactive in financial planning and asset maintenance strategies to ensure the achievement of high-quality and sustainable educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the promotional management strategies of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) based on active student (santri) involvement at Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang. In the face of globalization and increasing competition among Islamic educational institutions, pesantren are expected to maintain their relevance not only through curriculum excellence and graduate character but also through strategic public image development. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with pesantren administrators, active students, and alumni representatives. The findings reveal that the pesantren's promotional efforts are implemented through four main approaches: empowering social media, deploying students for community-based preaching (dakwah), mobilizing alumni networks (particularly ISMA’U NTB), and organizing both internal and external events that are communicative and participatory. Students are positioned not only as learners but also as promotional agents who construct positive narratives about the institution. This study indicates a paradigm shift in religious institutional promotion-from conventional approaches to more contextual, participatory strategies. It offers practical contributions for pesantren to develop sustainable, student-driven promotional systems and aligns with the mandate of Law No. 18 of 2019 on Pesantren, which emphasizes pesantren’s independence and strategic role in society.

Abstract

Pesantren as the oldest of educational institutions has fulfilled in preparing religion expert an scholars, besides, it also created many freedom fighter and national leaders. The leadership in pesantren of Al Urwatul Wutsqo has two types, namely charismatic and democratic. The charismatic leader can be seen from his owned science, firmness, wisdom, good, obedient, sincere, and fair in organizing and managing his pesantren. He is also altruistic than himself. Therefore, many people are disinclined him. Meanwhile his democratic can be viewed from his action or policy always includes his subordinates. The results have been achieved are: 1) organization of educational institutions, both formal and non formal, 2) education based on the Qur'an, the curriculum of education is oriented to implement al Qur'an and hadith verses. Besides, the pupils must teach and spread them, 3) carrying out free education from cottage to college, 4) developing the pupils talents in a variety of skills for example agriculture, livestock, buildings, the furniture, sewing, and many others.
