Abstract

Abstract. PT. Haswi Kencana Indah is a private company engaged in the mining business, especially Coal. In the process of transporting Overburden to disposal, there is a queue of garbage trucks and a long standby time on transport trucks, this can cause the productivity of the equipment to be small so that the Coal production target in September 2018 24,140 tons / month is not achieved. This is caused by the inefficient working time of mechanical devices. The target of this production is not achieved due to a combination of improper tools, road widths and road levels that do not meet the standards, causing the queue or waiting time for transport in front loading. One way to achieve the production target is to analyze the needs of the digging tool and the appropriate transportation equipment. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the productivity of the Doosan 500 LCV excavator is 279.93 tons / hour and the productivity of 5 Mitsubishi Fuso 220 PS dump trucks is 139.57 tons / hour and the productivity of dump trucks has not been able to reach the target of 200 tons / hour. To increase the productivity of mechanical tools can increase the effective time of work and improve the composition of the equipment obtained by the productivity of 1 unit of Doosan 500 lcv excavator 251,14 tons / hour and 4 units of Mitsubishi Fuso 220 PS dump truck transport 287,73 tons / hour. From the results of this study it can be seen that the effective working time and work harmony of actual mechanical devices have not been maximized. Keywords: Queue Method, Work Efficiency, Match Factor, Production, Dump Truck.

Abstract

The process of transporting limestone from Pit Limit area (15,15 ha) to the crusher unit LSC VI (Limestone Crusher VI) using a combination of 1 Excavator Hitachi 2500-6 unit with 4 units of Dumptruck Komatsu HD 785-7. The production target of limestone is 22.000 tons/day or 550.000 tons/month at Pit Limit area (15,15 Ha). Meanwhile, actual productivity of mechanical equipment is only 1.207,5 tons/hour or 18,112.5 tons/day. To realize the planned productivity improvement must be supported by the availability of sufficient mechanical tools to produce raw materials as desired. The efforts made are improve blast fragmentation to simplify the digging process of loading equipment, create a wider loading point, create a flatter haul road and less dusty, improve work efficiency and Effective Utilization (EU), optimize loading time and hauling time, and reduce dumptruck units to 3 units. Then the productivity of mechanical equipment increase to 2.064,83 ton/hour or 30.972,45 ton/day or 774.311,25 ton/month. It means the limestone production target can be achieved at Pit Limit area (15,15 ha). After improvement, the value of Match Factor between 1 unit of excavator and 3 units of dumptruck is MF = 1,1. This combination is more effectively applied than ever before is MF = 0.88.

Abstract

After doing the observation at PT. Semen Padang, the authors obtained data  RKAP (Work Plan and Corporate Budget) of 8,064,608 ton/year and limestone production realization of 7,563,049 ton/year with production percentage 93.8% in 2017. Based on the observation data, it can be seen that limestone mining production target is not always achieved. It is necessary to evaluate the causes of non-achievement of production targets. This can be interpreted that there are problems in the unit crushing and conveying. The problem that often happens is the conveyor belt transportation. PT. Semen Padang itself currently has 3 units of Lime Stone Crusher (LSC). From 3 units of LSC (LSC II, LSC IIIA and LSC IIIB), the total belt conveyor operating on the LSC is 23 belt with different belt width. So also with the speed of each belt is different, depending on the ability of the gearbox mounted on each - each conveyor belt motor. From RBC A2J05 calculation has actual productivity value 813,97 tons/hour, RBC A2J06 has actual productivity value 869,56 tons/hour RBC A4J12P has actual productivity value 1,115,72 tons/hour RBC A1J02 has actual productivity value 1,352,98 tons/hour RBC A1J12B has actual productivity value 1,465,45 tons/hour, RBC A4J14 has actual productivity value 1,091,99 tons/hour. After performing RBC A2J05 performance optimizer, RBC A2J06, RBC A4J12P, RBC A1J02, RBC A1J12B and RBC A4J14 according to gearbox's maximum capability, the A4J12P belt productivity, A1J12B belt, A4J14 belt is able to accommodate limestone delivery, while belt A2J05, belt A2J06 and the A1J02 belt is still unable to accommodate limestone delivery production in December 2017Keywords: Crushing, Conveying, Belt conveyor, Limestone, Gearbox

Abstract

Abstract.PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya is one of the mining companies located in the Parambah area, sawahlunto. In coal mining activities, PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya uses open pit mining methods.PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya targets overburden production for the eastern central pit at 35,000.00 bcm/month. Mining process for overburden material using mechanical equipment 1 komatsu pc 300-8 excavator unit with 3 hino fm 260 dump trucks from the loading point to a disposal distance of 750 meters.The problem that occurs is that the production of loading equipment and transportation equipment has not been fulfilled so that the production target has not been reached. Not achieving production due to the amount of work time wasted due to work barriers, both avoidable and avoidable obstacles.With these constraints, it will reduce the effective working time causing low work efficiency.Efforts to increase production can be done by increasing effective working time, available working time and increasing the number of transportation equipment to become four dump truck hino fm 260 units with production from 23.351,78 bcm / month to 36.571,82 bcm / monthWith the improvement of effective working hours and increased production from the increasing number of transportation equipment, the production target is achieved.To be able to achieve the production target, it is better to monitor the work time that has been set in order to prevent obstacles that occur during work and the need to calculate the standard time barriers, so as to facilitate control.Keywords:Overburden, work efficiency, effective working hours.Abstract.PT. Abstract

PT. Pipit Mutiara Jaya is one of the companies engaged in mining, especiallycoal. The company is located in Bebatu Village, Sesayap downstream, Tana Tidung,North Kalimantan Province. PT. Pipit Mutiara Jaya is applying an open pit systemand is currently engaged in mining and exploration activities. The area explorationis called Pit CFG. After the company undertook detailed exploration activities thecompany has not conducted data processing to determine the quantity of measuredcoal resources, the value of stripping ratio, and the design pit at Pit C PT. PipitMutiara Jaya.Coal exploration was conducted on coal seam with research area + 24 ha.The information used in estimating the measured coal resource in the study areacame from 146 drill hole data and the mean distance between 50 meter drill holeswith the average depth of 60 meter borehole. Result of calculation of coal resourceby using method of polygon in mining software. Total of overburden is 12.488.344bcm which consist of amount of overburden, mud and the consecutive amount ofmix material is 3.309.185 bcm, 6.119.439 bcm and 3.059.719 bcm then total coaltonnage is 1.296 .445 tons consisting of 101B1 866.901 ton and 101H 429.544 tonsof seam and the stripping ratio is 1: 9,63.Keywords: exploration, coal, mine, drill, resource, polygon, overburden, seam,stripping ratio, pit

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo is one of a company working in the mining of andesite, located Jorong Pauah Anok Nagari Pangkalan Kecamatan Pangkalan Kabupaten 50 kota Sumatera Barat. Draining system applied in PT Ansar Terang Crushindo is a mine dewatering system. When rainy season, rainfall the higher so as to discharge some runoff who entered the mine is getting higher it leads to the increasing the volume of water that accumulated on sump, so sump overflows and can not accommodate the incoming water. Water that has been gathered at sump will is pumped to open channels for later diverted back out mine to river. From the results of research and observation catchment areas in PT. ATC is 3,1 hectares. The capacity of optimal sump to cover the water runoff and groundwater is 3.050 m. The minimum pump discharge needed to remove water is 0.00553 m3 / second and the pumping time is at least 9 hours per day. The pump used is a Centrifugal Niagara Self Priming pump with a total head of 18 meters, a maximum installed capacity of 0.0395 m3 / second and a maximum rotation of 1700 rpm of 1 unit. The results of pumping are channeled to the open channel, the shape of the open channel section made is trapezoid, the dimensions of the surface width are 1 m, the base width is 0.5 m, the depth is 0.5 m. Then from the open channel is passed to the mud settling pond (settling pond) which has 2 compartments. Abstract

Rancangan sistem penyaliran di PT. Artamulia Tatapratama belum optimaluntuk menangani air yang masuk ke pit tambang baik air limpasan maupun airtanah. Catchment Area pada daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi 4 bagian, luasnyasecara berurutan adalah 43,33 Ha, 63,01 Ha, 60,26 Ha dan 20,2 Ha. Debit air totalmasing-masing catchment area secara berurutan adalah 1,456 m3/detik, 2,492m3/detik, 2,133 m3/detik dan 1,532 m3/detik. Volume tampungan optimal mainsump, temporary sump central, serta temporary sump timur secara berurutan adalah90.317,5 m3, 23.285,5 m3, 96.785,5 m3serta. Saluran terbuka yang direncanakanyaitu pada catchment area I, dimana saluran terbuka bertujuan untuk mencegah airmasuk ke front penambangan. Pompa yang digunakan adalah pompa Multiflo MF-420E 2 buah pada main sump dan CF-48H masing-masing 1 buah pada temporarysump timur dan temporary sump central. Besar debit pompa yang harus ditampungsettling pond adalah sebesar 0,594 m3/detik, jadi volume settling pond yangdirencanakan adalah 21.264 m3. Biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk operasi pompaadalah sebesar Rp 3.187.000/jam. Sedangkan biaya yang dikeluarkan untukpembuatan sump keseluruhan adalah sebesar Rp 1.488.793.210,7. Biaya pembuatansaluran terbuka sebesar Rp 61.494.110,51 dan pembuatan settling pond adalah Rp101.435.538,4.

Abstract

Existing pumps can not work optimally on mining C.11 and C.12 because the inlet value obtained is greater than the value of the outlet, the magnitude of the discharge water makes the company's difficulties to deal with it, because there has been no water discharge measurements in detail. Water discharge measurements on the system is difficult because the aquifer is secondary to the absence of a map distribution structure, therefore the measurement was done manually. And now CV. Tahiti Coal haven’t settling pond as a water quality control places accordingly has not met the requirements by the KEPMEN Mining and Energy No: 1211.K/008/M.PE/1995 chapter 9 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2. This type of research belongs to the type of applied research. As the result of data processing discharge ground water totally 5,092 m3/minute. The total of pumps needed to re-draft installation pump Tsurumi pump   Hs(Z)3,75S-51 12 units company provided appropriate and required the addition of pump 3 units pumps Tsurumi LH637-HDPE pipes in diameter of  6 inch. Sump 1 is rectangular with dimensions length 2 m, width 1 m, and a depth of 2 m. Sump 2 is a  trapezium with dimensions length 10.12 m, width 6.6 m and a depth of 3 m.  settling pond is planned 3 compartments, 2 partitions, the depth of the pond 4 m with a capacity of each compartment of 254 m3 and the capacity of entire 761.18 m3.Keywords:  Pump, Instalation Pump, Head Losess, Sump, Settling Pond

Abstract

Abstract. Based on observations in the field in the process of transporting coal from the mining front to the temporary stockpile at the Coal Mine Muara Tiga Besar Utara PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk, obtained transportation equipment productivity is not optimal. This is because there is a long queue of dump trucks in the dumping process of coal material to the dump hopper, as well as low work efficiency of the tool. Actual productivity of dump trucks from field observations is 36.77 tons / hour on fleet 1 and 52,64 tons / hour on fleet 2, while productivity of conveyor belts is 1640,21 tons / hour. After the analysis is obtained the cause of the low productivity of the tool is low work efficiency. By increasing work efficiency, the ideal productivity of dump trucks is 50.72 tons / hour on fleet 1 and 72.60 tons / hour on fleet 2, while the ideal productivity of conveyor belts is 1879.41 tons / hour. From the calculations, the cost of transporting coal from the mining front to the temporary stockpile using a dump truck is Rp.17.882 / ton, using a dump truck and a conveyor belt is Rp.23.631 / ton. After an analysis of the amount of the cost of transporting coal using a dump truck is Rp. 14,576 / ton, using a dump truck and conveyor belt is Rp.17,705 / ton.Keywords:  Front, Temporary Stockpile, Productivity, Work Efficiency, Fleet, Cost Transportation

Abstract

PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is one of the companies that enganged in coal mining. PT. Nusa Alam Lestari have Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) in Kanagarian Sinamar, Kec. Asam Jujuhan, Kab. Dharmasraya.PT. Nusa Alam Lestari use surface mining system with open pit mine method so it will be forming a basin in mine area. Flows system in PT. Nusa Alam Lestari are using mine dewatering system. Mine dewatering is a flow method to manage the water in mine location for a patch in the sump and drop from mine area with pump. The mine drainase system use to prevent and handle much water come in the mine area with making a channel arround the mine area.The width of the catchment area in east pit PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is 35,16 ha. The maximum capacity of sump to accomodating the runoff debi and underwater debit is 106,462 m3. The form of channels drainage is trapesium in pit mine to reducing the runoff debit  that come in. The pump system that use HDPE pipe type as much as 4 unit centrifugal Sykes HH220i with total maximum head is 92 meter and maximum debit is 230 liter/second.  The result of the pump flows to the settling pond (KPL) with maximum volume is 6.739 m3. The fungtion of settling pond (KPL) is to neutralize harmful substances from pumping result before flows to the river. Keywords: Technical Review, Rainfall, Catchment Area, Sump and Pump.
