Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam praktiknya, banyak ruangan yang tidak memiliki ventilasi cahaya sehingga menggunakan sumber cahaya hingga selama 24 jam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem yang dapat meminimalkan penggunaan listrik untuk penerangan dengan menggunakan sistem solatube. Solatube akan memberikan sinyal pada dimmer yang mengatur kapasitas cahaya lampu sehingga tidak selalu membutuhkan performa penuh. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem solatube dapat menghasilkan nilai intensitas cahaya maksimal yang dapat memenuhi standar untuk ruang baca yaitu lebih dari 350 Lux dengan persentase penerangan menjadi hanya 1% - 79%, terutama selama penggunaan beban siang hari. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan penggunaan solatube penggunaan daya untuk penerangan dapat dikurangi, sehingga meningkatkan penghematan energi dan biaya. Kemudian alat ini dilengkapi dengan data logger yang dapat diakses melalui internet untuk memantau penggunaan listrik secara realtime sehingga dapat dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi untuk pengembangan selanjutnya.Kata kunci: Sistem Pencahayaan, Solatube, Penghematan Energi, Data Logger. ABSTRACTIn practice, many rooms do not have light ventilation, so they use light sources for up to 24 hours. This study aims to design a sistem that can minimize the use of electricity for lighting using a solatube sistem. Solatube provide a signal to the dimmer that regulates the light capacity of the lamp thus it does not always require full performance. Based on the test results, the solatube sistem can produce a maximum light intensity value that can meet the standards for the reading room, which is more than 350 Lux with the percentage of light being only 1% - 79%, especially during the use of daytime loads. This shows that with solatube lighting sistem, power consumption for lighting can be reduced, thereby increasing energy and cost savings. Furthermore this tool is equipped with a data logger that can be accessed via the internet to monitor realtime electricity usage thus that it can be monitored and evaluated for further developmentKeywords: lighting sistem, solatube, energy saving, data logger.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Nilai pH pada larutan nutrisi tanaman hidroponik merupakan salah satu parameter penting agar tumbuhan berkembang dengan baik. Salah satu metode pengendali otomatis adalah menggunakan pengendali PID. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan sistem pengendali pH larutan nutrisi menggunakan PID. Proses pengendalian diatur oleh larutan pH up dan larutan pH down. Pengujian pengendali PID terdiri dari pengujian pengendali Propotional (P), pengendali Propotional-Inrtegral (PI), dan Propotional-Integral-Derivative (PID). Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan metode tunning trial and error diperoleh hasil pengendali Propotional menghasilkan respon lebih baik dengan nilai Kp=1, hasil yang didapat sistem tidak mengalami overshoot/undershoot dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan mencapai titik kesetimbangan di setpoint yaitu 126 detik. Agar sistem terjaga dinilai setpointnya sistem pengendali akan bereaksi terhadap perubahan error, sehingga memerlukan lebih banyak larutan pH up dan pH down. Kata kunci: Hidroponik, pH, Arduino, kendali PID. ABSTRACT The pH value of hydroponic-plants nutrient solution is one of the important parameters for plants to grow up well. This study aims to analyze the application of a system to control the pH of nutrient solutions using PID which is controlled by a pH up solution and a pH down solution. PID controller testing consists of Propotional (P) control test, Propotional-Inrtegral (PI) controller, and Propotional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller. The test results obtained using the tunning trial and error method obtained a Propotional controller result have a better response with the value Kp=1, the system does not overshoot / undershoot. the time needed to reach a stable value at setpoint is 126 seconds. so that the system is maintained at its set point the control system will react to error changes, that is why it requires more pH up liquid and the pH liquid down. Abstract

ABSTRAKPada penelitian ini mencoba untuk memanfaatkan tag RFID sebagai media untuk menyimpan data berupa nilai nominal uang. Metode enkripsi data Ceasar Cipher akan diterapkan ke dalam sistem yang dirancang sehingga data nominal uang pada tag merupakan data yang terenkripsi. Enkripsi data ini dilakukan untuk memperkuat sistem keamanan yang telah terdapat pada tag, sehingga proses peretasan data akan lebih sulit untuk dilakukan. Perangkat keras yang digunakan untuk merealisasikan sistem terdiri dari unit reader RFID-RC522, tag MIFARE Classic S50 1 kbyte, dan Arduino UNO R3. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa tag dapat digunakan untuk menyimpan data berupa nilai nominal uang dan dari sistem yang telah direalisasikan nilai nominal uang tersebut dapat ditambah atau dikurang jumlahnya dari Rp 0 – Rp 4.294.967.295. Penerapan metode Ceasar Cipher berhasil mengubah nilai nominal uang menjadi data yang terenkripsi.Kata Kunci: RFID, pembayaran elektronik, sistem keamanan, enkripsi data, ceasar cipher ABSTRACTIn this research will try to utilize RFID tag as data storage for a certain value of money. Ceasar cipher as encryption method will be applied to the implemented system so that this certain value of money inside the tag turned into an encrypted data. Ecryption of the data is done to hardened the security sistem that already exists in the tag itself, so any violation behavior like data cracking will be harder to accomplish. The hardware that used on the system consist of a reader unit RFID-RC522, MIFARE Classic tag S50 1kbyte, and Arduino UNO R3. The result of this research proofed that the tag could be utilized to store a certain value of money and with a well built implemented system, the data value could be incremented or decremented ranging from Rp 0 – Rp 4.294.967.295. Implementation of Ceasar Cipher method has succesfully turn that certain value of money inside the tag into an encrypted data.Keywords: RFID, Electronic payment, security system, data encryption, ceasar cipher

Abstract

ABSTRAKSaat ini, pemanfaatan sumber energi terbarukan menjadi salah satu pilihan dalam menjawab tantangan krisis energi. Sistem pembangkit listrik fotovoltaiktermoelektrik hibrida yang menggabungkan keunggulan konversi energi cahaya dan panas dari matahari perlu dikaji kinerjanya. Penelitian ini membahas peningkatan efisiensi pembangkit listrik tenaga surya hybrid panel-termoelektrik dan hubungannya dengan pengaruh faktor lingkungan. Akuisisi data berdasarkan analisis komputasi menganalisis statistik multivariat, seperti regresi, korelasi, boxplot, dan principal component analysis (PCA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan daya masukan MPPT lebih tinggi dibandingkan daya keluaran, dengan efisiensi tipikal sebesar 99,66%. Peningkatan suhu udara membuat tegangan sedikit menurun, dan daya yang dihasilkan meningkat cukup besar seiring dengan naiknya suhu udara. Peda penelitian terlihat bahwa radiasi ultraviolet (UV) meningkat secara signifikan seiring dengan peningkatan suhu lingkungan.Kata kunci: efisiensi, faktor lingkungan, fotovoltaik, analisis statistik, termoelektrik ABSTRACTRecently, using renewable energy sources is one option in answering the challenge of the energy crisis. The hybrid photovoltaic-thermoelectric power generation system is a solution that combines the advantages of converting both light and heat energy from the sun, which needs to be studied. This study discussed the increase in efficiency in a hybrid solar panel-thermoelectric power generation and its relationship to the influence of environmental factors. The data acquisition is based on the computational analyses of multivariate statistics, such as regressions, correlations, boxplots and principal component analysis. It showed the input power of the MPPT was higher than the output power, with a typical efficiency of 99.66%. The rising air temperature decreased the voltages and generated power considerably, increasing as the air temperature rose. Finally, the ultraviolet (UV) radiation increased significantly as the ambient temperature rose.Keywords: efficiency, environmental factor, photovoltaic, statistical analysis, thermoelectric

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merealisasikan sebuah sistem monitoring infus yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan tenaga medis dengan menampilkan parameter-parameter dalam sebuah terapi infus intravena ke sebuah program Labview dengan menggunakan jaringan komunikasi UDP secara wireless. Labview dapat mengendalikan perangkat keras untuk mengatur jumlah tetesan/menit dan memonitoring parameter yang dikirim dari Wemos D1. Parameter yang dimonitoring diantaranya adalah jumlah tetesan, interval (ms), tetesan/menit, dan volume cairan infus. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan alarm dan pemberhentian cairan infus secara otomatis sebagai peringatan ketika cairan infus terhenti dan bernilai < 50 ml. Waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menghabiskan 450 ml cairan infus adalah 442-460 menit. Pada pengujian kestabilan sudut motor servo terhadap jumlah tetesan/menit, didapatkan hasil yang relatif konstan yaitu 18 tetesan/menit dan 21 tetesan/menit. Dengan begitu sistem monitoring infus dengan menggunakan Labview ini dapat dikatakan cukup layak digunakan sebagai sistem pengendali dan monitoring terapi infus intravena.Kata kunci: monitoring, infus, wemos D1, komunikasi UDP, labview ABSTRACTThis research is realizing an infusion monitoring system that aims to make medicians work easier by displaying parameters in an intravenous infusion therapy to a Labview program using a wireless UDP communication network. The hardware can be controlled by Labview to control drip/minute and monitor the parameters which sent by Wemos D1. Parameters are total drip, interval (in ms), drip/minute, dan infusion fluid volume. This system also designed with an alarm and automatic infusion fluid stopping to warn whether the infusion fluid stopped and valued < 50 ml. The infusion fluid spent 442 – 460 minutes to drained 450 ml of the bottle. From the stability testing of motor servo degree towards total drip/minute obtained a relative constant result, there are 18 drip/minute and 21 drip/minute. Therefore, this infusion monitoring system with Labview can be claimed as feasible enough to be a controlling and monitoring intravenous infusion therapy system.Keywords: monitoring, infusion, wemos D1, UDP communication, labview

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis studi kelayakan potensi pembangkit listrik tenaga hybrid dengan sumber energi terbarukan surya dan bayu untuk skala rumah tangga di daerah kota Bandung. Beban yang digunakan sebesar 4896Wh setiap harinya. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi HOMER untuk menentukan nilai investasi dari PLTH yang dirancang serta produksi energi listrik yang dihasilkannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem pembangkit listrik hybrid mampu menghasilkan daya sebesar 2.313 kWh/tahun dengan perbandingan 48,7% dari sumber energi angin, 20,8% dari sumber energi surya, serta 9,7% sumber PLN. Nilai investasi dari sistem tersebut adalah Rp 32.910.770 untuk NPC, dengan IRR yang dihasilkan adalah 13%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis studi kelayakan tersebut, maka investasi yang digunakan pada sistem hybrid ini tidak rugi dan layak untuk direalisasikan.Kata kunci: PLTH, studi kelayakan, HOMER, surya, bayu. ABSTRACTIn this research, an analysis of the feasibility study of potential hybrid power plants with solar and wind renewable energy was carried out for household scale in Bandung city. The load used is 4896Wh every day. The analysis was carried out using the HOMER application to determine the investment value of the designed PLTH and the production of the electrical energy it produces. The result of this research is that the hybrid power generation system is capable of producing a power of 2313 kWh/year with a ratio of 48.7% from wind energy sources, 20.8% from solar energy sources, and 9.7% from PLN sources. The investment value of the system is IDR 32,910,770 for NPC, with the resulting IRR of 13%. Abstract

ABSTRAKPotential of Hydrogen (pH) adalah salah satu parameter penting yang terdapat pada nutrisi tanaman hidroponik. Setiap tanaman memerlukan nutrisi dengan pH sesuai kebutuhannya, agar dapat tumbuh dengan baik. pH nutrisi akan berubah setiap saat, sehingga perlu sering dipantau. Terdapat kendala pada pH meter yang digunakan saat ini, misalnya perlu kalibrasi ulang jika digunakan lebih dari 24 Jam karena elektroda sensor pH rentan terhadap larutan yang diukurnya. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah pH meter cerdas yang akan digunakan untuk mengukur nutrisi tanaman. Alat ukur ini mampu digunakan secara terus menerus selama lebih dari 24 jam. Sensor pH yang digunakan adalah FIT0348 dan ATMega8 sebagai unit kontrolernya. Proses pengujian terdiri dari 4 tahap. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, disimpulkan bahwa koefisien determinasi pada rangkaian pengkondisi sinyal yang dirancang telah linier yaitu 0,9999 dengan persamaan regresi y=0,0065x+6,189. ΔpH dari pH meter yang dirancang adalah ±0,01 dengan menggunakan PH/EC-9853 sebagai alat ukur pembandingnya.Kata kunci: potensial of hydrogen, pH meter, hidroponik, nutrisi tanamanABSTRACTPotential of Hydrogen (pH) is one of the important parameters found in hydroponic plant nutrition. Every plant needs nutrients with pH according to their needs, so they can grow well. The pH of nutrients will change at any time, so it needs to be monitored frequently. There is a problem with the pH meter used today, for example, it needs recalibration if it is used more than 24 hours because the pH sensor electrode is susceptible to the solution it measures. In this study, a smart pH meter was designed to be used to measure plant nutrient. This measuring instrument can be used continuously for more than 24 hours. The pH sensor used is FIT0348 and ATMega8 as the controller unit. The testing process consists of 4 steps. Based on tests, it was concluded that the coefficient of determination in the signal conditioning circuit designed was equal to 0.9999 with the regression equation y = 0.0065x + 6.189. ΔpH from the pH meter designed is ± 0.01 by using PH/EC-9853 as a comparison measuring instrument.Keywords: potensial of hydrogen, pH meter, hydroponic, plant nutrition

Abstract

Compost fertilizer is a type of fertilizer used by the Nur Alam community to enrich their agricultural land. This fertilizer is needed in large quantities every week. In this community service activity, a composting machine was created to assist Nur Alam Tani with their fertilizer needs. The function of this machine is to accelerate the compost production process by shredding waste into smaller sizes. The machine has dimensions of 490 x 455 x 950 mm. An electric motor with a power specification of 1Hp is used as its drive. This machine is capable of processing waste at a rate of 5 kg/hour, producing shredded material with an approximate size of 10 mm. The output from this machine has greatly benefited Nur Alam Tani, as prior to the use of this device, they were only able to produce about 10 kg of fertilizer per week.

Abstract

The third mission of a university is a community service. Based on this mission, this paper presents the activity of community service. The activity was training for senior high school students and teachers. The subjects of the training are actuators, IoT, and IP address. These components or subsystems are very important basic industrial instrumentation for further automation. These subsystems are very correlated with each other. Some actuators are electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic types. There are many applications of IoT and IP addresses, such as smart grids and communications.

Abstract

Hydroponics is a farming technique that has many advantages. This system has many types, for example the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT). In this activity, an NFT hydroponic system based on automation is created for parameter settings that affect plant growth. Several parameters are controlled, such as pH and TDS on plant nutrition, as well as humidity and air temperature in the environment. This system was placed in Ciparay village to help the community learn hydroponic farming. As a result of this activity, the entire system can work well, but there are still some leaks. After this system worked, socialization activities were carried out to the Ciparay community to explain how to use the system for hydroponic cultivation.
