Abstract

Abstract There are types and variation of musical arts, one of them is traditional musical instrument Talempong Pacik which still exists in the pageant of wedding ceremony in Nagari Koto Anau. Talempong pacik is a type of percussion musical instrument which belongs to the traditional ensemble music of Minangkabau. This study is aimed at describing and finding the functions of Talempong pacik in the bridal pageant in the wedding ceremony. This is a qualitative research by using descriptive methods, describing the phenomena among the variables of data in form of words or images. The object of this research is Talempong Pacik musical instruments performed in the wedding ceremony. This research analyzes the functions of these instruments in the pageant procession of wedding ceremony in Nagari Koto Anau. Talempong Pacik in the pageant functions as (1) a means of entertainment for the community in terms of entertainment which gives specific meanings and messages in Minangkabau view. (2) a means of communication and information in the weeding procession in Nagari Koto Anau. This music is able to convey the message about the activity being performed and the message can be understood by the people who watched and listened to. Abstract

Genetic Counseling is a communication process undertaken to address the issue of genetic diseases affected in the family. The basic concept of Selfcare is active awareness, while genetic counseling is passive awareness. The nursing theory is based upon the philosophy that all "patients wish to care for themselves". The objective of this study to sustain the theory development of genetic counseling related to Orem’s Selfcare theory following on from three relationship construction theories which include self care theory, self care deficit theory and nursing system theory. Genetic counseling is relevan with Orem’s selfcare theory as a gold standard to improve self care awareness, increase quality of life and reduce stress level among patients and families with genetic diseases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine "whether there is a significant influence of positive verbal reinforcement in the learning process towards students' learning motivation on Social Science subject grade VIII Junior High School 2 Anak Tuha Central Lampung academic year of 2015/2016". This research used quantitative data collection method with normality test and data analysis test using theta test and kai square test. Based on the results of the calculations, the theta test equal to 0.40625 which means it is quite influential while the kai square test was 11.85 which means there is a significant influence.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan pemberian penguatan verbal positif dalam proses pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Anak Tuha Lampung Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data kuantitatif dengan dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji analisis data menggunakan uji theta dan uji kai kuadrat. Berdasarkan hasil hitung menggunakan uji theta sebesar 0,40625 yang berarti cukup berpengaruh dan uji kai kuadrat sebesar 11,85 yang berarti adanya pengaruh yang signifikan.Kata kunci: motivasi belajar, pemberian penguatan, pengaruh

Abstract

This article explains the importance of human resource potential as a driving force in a organiasi or bureaucracy. The study was conducted with the literature study with reference to a number of previous studies and related literature. From the study represent the importance of human resources in an organization, institution, or bureaucracy. Primarily in a bureaucratic public sector can be used as a reference for building a strong bureaucracy. Civil Administrative State was instrumental as planners, implementers and supervisors holding general duty of government and national development through the implementation of policies and a professional public service, free from political interference, as well as clean of corruption, collusion, and nepotism in the contribution of performance and service support improving the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation. The quality of human resources (HR) is basically determined not only by mastering science and technology, but also the spiritual-mental toughness in creating the human resource potential
