Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to describe the dendang lela ampalu in the presentation structure of Rabab Pasisia in Ampalu Village, Kecamatan Sutera, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research was a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The main instrument in this study was the researcher self and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Techniques of data collection were observation, literature study, interviews and documentation. The steps for analyzing data were collecting data, clarifying data and making conclusions.The results showed that Dendang Lela Ampalu was included in the structure of the presentation of dendang in a Rabab Pasisia show. However, Dendang Lela Ampalu does not stand alone but Dendang Lela Ampalu is also a part of the Dendang. Dendang Lela Ampalu is conveying the message of suffering experienced by a household. In the past, Dendang Lela Ampalu was only sung by mothers who were initially without any instruments. But at this time Dendang Lela Ampalu has been accompanied by the instrument of Rabab Pasisia and displayed in the performing arts of Rabab Pasisia Keywords: Structure, Dendang Lela Ampalu, Rabab Pasisia

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation of analysis of examination questions by the cultural arts teachers at Class X of Accounting Department in SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman. This type of study was qualitative research with using descriptive analysis method. The instrument of the study was the researcher and it was assisted by interview note, observation note, and documentation files. The researcher was involved in the research as a participant observer. The types of data were primary and secondary with qualitative data analysis techniques that described the problem. The result of this study indicates that the analysis of examination questions of cultural art (music) done by the teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Pariaman, which have been tested on the final exam in odd semester 2018/2019, shows the results of the existence of categories of questions that are easy, medium and difficult, based on the results of examination of students correct answers which have been recapitulated and summarized. there are six items whose material are not related to the subject, the description of questions are too broad and the questions that the teachers have never been explained in the Indonesian traditional music insight material, then the questions can be removed, replaced or corrected. Abstract

The study aims to explain the using of conventional learning method in the learning of cultural art (music) at SMP 2 in Painan. Besides of the usage of the relevant studies as additional references, then theoretical framework is used in this study that related to study and learn, conventional learning method and  cultural art learning. Based on theoretical framework, it is known that the method used is conventional learning method such as lecture,  discussion, demonstration/excerice and assignment. The result of study and discussion  shows that the teachers teach the cultural art (music) at class VII in SMP 2 Painan use the conventional learning method with lecture method dominantly. The choosen method is used by the teachers, besides of the teachers want to, it is attached in RPP, it is also because the teachers who have expreience in teaching for  a long time. Eventhough the leture method is used dominantly, the cultural art learning is still run well at the class, the students is active and enthusias in learning. The conclusion can be drawn that eventhough the learning only use the lecture method, the teachers are able to use the another methods such as discussion that cause cultural art learning (music) become interesting and enjoyable.

Abstract

Abstract This music work is an innovative art taken from Pado-pado rhytm in Saluang Pauah show. This music work was was arranged based on the consept of the rhytm and melody combination of any traditional music tools (Saluang Pauah, talempong, canang, adok, djembe) and modern ones (Bass, electric guitar, piano, percussion set, conga, violin, viola and cello). Abstract

Abstract This study was animed at promoting the Minangkabau traditional artinto new form of artwork. Through musical work of Minang Groovy, the writer intended to show that the traditional music could  be collaborated woth modern music. This,however, also could be developed by using various design and was combined with other modern musical instruments. The traditional music then could be more attractive and enjoyed by all of people especially the young generation. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to reveal the picture of students' interest to wards learning the art of music in SMP Negeri 1 Painan South Coastal District. This type of researc his descriptive, while research conducted in February-March 2013. The instrument used was a questionnaire to collect data using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution formula in the form of a percentage.  From the analysis of the data obtained the following results: 1. Minat siswa in SMPN egeri 1 Painan seen from the classification indicators are sufficient participation (74.1%).  2. Student interest in SMP Negeri 1 Painan seen from the classification indicators are sufficient attention to the percentage of75.7%. 3. Student interest in SMP Negeri 1 Painan seen from the feeling of being on the classification of the indicators enough with the percentage of 79.3%.  It means that of the three indicators of interest needs to be improved, so that students become better.   Kata kunci : Minat, pembelajaran, musik, deskriptif.

Abstract

The data related to the topic above is collected through library research, observation, interview and documentation techniques.From the research results can be concluded that Art Inheritance Rabab Pasisie System in Nagari  Anakan  Koto  Nan  Duo  Kecamatan  Batang  Kapas  Kabupaten  Pesisir  Selatan, inherited enculturation. Abstract

This research aims to reveal and describe the Structure of Peyajian Dikia Pauah in Nagari Sungai Sapih Community Kuranji District, Padang City. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research instrument is the researcher himself and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery, flashdisk, and mobile phone. The data type uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, describing data, and concluding data. The results showed that the presentation structure of dikia was done at the time after Isha to dawn because the Prophet Muhammad SAW was born at dawn precisely on the 12th of Rabi’ul Awal. The existence of dikia is very difficult to find because fans of badikia in the millennial era are very minimal. Badikia players have stepped on the elderly which makes it difficult for the next generation to understand more about the structure of badikia. The Covid-19 pandemic also became an obstacle to badikia performances because it allegedly invited crowds. Concerns about the existence of Dikia Pauah will be lost because the younger generation as the successor of many do not understand the presentation of Dikia Pauah in a structured manner.

Abstract

Abstract   The research aimed at describing the use of music instrument Gaejuma in the society of Mentawai at Siberut Selatan Mentawai. Such traditional arts possessed by the society included vocal music, traditional music instruments and daily traditional dances. The three traditional arts were closely related to social activities such as wedding party, the coronation of shaman, the expansion of new farming area, the construction of new houses and the medication of people. One of the traditional music which was always performed during the local ceremonies in Mentawai was the music instrument Gaejuma. The performance of Gaejuma in every ceremony was to tone up the ceremonies like in the wedding party, to cure those who were sick or ill, to remove the bad spirits during the expansion of new farming area or the construction of new houses, during the coronation. Abstract

Abtract This research was conducted to reveal and describe the efforts done to preserve Talempong Pacik traditional art in Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The object of the research was Talempong Pacik traditional art in Koto XI Tarusan. Talempong Pacik was chosen as the object of the research as this traditional art is almost exinct. This was a qualitatif research. The data were gathered through interview, obsevation and documentation. The instrument of the research was the reseacher herself as the key instrument. The data were selected, presented and verified. The result of the research indicated that there were some efforts were done by the people in Koto XI Tarusan to preserve Talempong Pacik. The efforts were done by establishing an art group, recruiting new members, and carring out regular training once a week in Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.
