Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional menyampaikan bahwa, proses pendidikan pada anak usia dini dimaknai sebagai upaya mengembangkan karakter bangsa. Sehingga, memiliki nilai dan karakter dalam dirinya, serta menerapkan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan dikemudian hari. Nilai-nilai tersebut seperti kebijakan, penghormatan terhadap yang lain, tanggung jawab pribadi, perasaan senasib, sependeritaan, pemecahan konflik secara damai, merupakan nilai-nilai yang semestinya diutamakan dalam pendidikan karakter. Namun, beberapa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter membutuhkan sebuah media yang mampu mendorong terwujudnya cita-cita pendidikan. Media tersebut mampu menjadi sarana dalam menumbuhkan karakter bangsa yang berbudaya. Karakter yang mencirikan karakteristik kearifan nilai budaya lokal. Sehingga, anak sebagai penerus bangsa tidak kehilangan jati diri. Layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan media permaianan adalah sebuah bagian dari pendidikan karakter yang dapat diberikan kepada peserta didik dalam hal ini adalah siswa PAUD. Kegiatan ini diaplikasikan dalam sebuah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terhadap anak PAUD di kecamatan Bae Kabupaten Kudus. Penggunaan media ini diharapkan dapat merangsang kognitif dan psikomotorik anak PAUD di Kecamatan Bae, Kudus sehingga memperkuat perkembangan karakter mereka. Media permaianan yang digunakan dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok dikembangkan melalui berbagai nilai kearifan lokal kudus yang dan telah dilakukan oleh anak-anak serta menjadi bagian dari kebudayaan kudus.

Abstract

The development of the character of fairness in teachers is influenced by the environmental conditions in which they grow and develop. This can be a factor that can influence the development of the fair character of teachers in the provinces of Central Java and Lampung. Therefore, this research aims to explore the fairness conditions among teachers in Central Java and Lampung provinces through a comparative study. This research involved 970 teachers spread across the islands of Java and Sumatra. The cluster sampling technique was used to take research subjects. The Comparison research method with The Fuzzy C-Means and K-Means Methods was carried out to obtain evidence regarding the fairness characteristics in teachers in Central Java and Lampung Provinces. The system testing results using the Silhouette coefficient method produced values ​​of 0.278 (Fuzzy C-Means) and 0.287 (K-Means), respectively. This value shows that K-Means outperforms Fuzzy C-Means because its value is close to 1. Furthermore, K-Means and Fuzzy C-Means obtain scores of 0.384 and 0.224, respectively, when evaluated with DBI. It can be concluded that Fuzzy C-means is superior to K-means because the lower DBI results show a good value close to zero. These results contribute to advocates of psychological assistance for teachers, that the characteristics of fairness conditions for teachers in the provinces of Lampung and Central Java are different. This analysis provides valuable insight into understanding the factors that influence teacher fairness in the two provinces and provides a basis for developing policies that are more effective in improving conditions of fairness in the education sector.

Abstract

The Value of Local Wisdom in Developing Indigenous Counseling. Objectives: This study aims to obtain a critical analysis of local culture-based counseling with a systematic review as a method. Method: This research uses an article search engine sourced from a database; spinger, sagepub and doaj. Literature review found 5 journals related to indigenous culture and cultural therapy with a qualitative approach. Based on the criteria of inclusion and exclusion as a material consideration in selecting articles. Finding: The results obtained indicate that culture provides an important meaning in the counseling process, because counseling is basically a cultural gathering. To understand culture, therapists need to understand what is normative in that cultural group. Conclusion: By understanding the cultural aspects of each individual, it is possible to design approaches that accommodate the power of culture with counseling theories that are adaptive to the culture in which counseling is practiced. Keywords: local wisdom, counseling, literature review. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v10.i3.202002
