Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Poverty Reduction Policy in the Perspective of Political Economy in Medan Belawan District, Medan City. The research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the implementation of poverty reduction policies in Medan Belawan sub-district from the perspective of political economy has been running quite well. The whole series or process of activities starting from the initial socialization, reflecting on poverty, implementing the program, monitoring the program all went quite well. The success of the Poverty Reduction Policy is greatly supported by the effectiveness of the implementing organizations in providing learning, mentoring, independence, for the poor. The obstacle that occurs in the implementation of this policy is that there are still poor people, most of whom are traditional fishing workers who have not received the benefits of assistance programs from the Government. This caused some of their children to drop out of school to work to help their parents.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Medan Outer Ring Acceleration Area Program in the Medan Tuntungan District and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the implementation of the accelerated development program for the outer ring region in Medan Tuntungan District was effective and was able to add and improve several facilities and infrastructures, not only road infrastructure, health infrastructure, educational infrastructure, but also added economic infrastructure. Factors that support infrastructure development in the District of Medan Tuntungan include Support of all citizens to government policies through proposals submitted to the Medan City Government regarding the need for infrastructure development in the District of Medan Tuntungan, in the context of accelerating regional development. Factors hampering infrastructure development in Medan Tuntungan Subdistrict are the lack of public awareness of the use and maintenance of infrastructure provided by the government, so that conditions are easily damaged and the limited regional budget for infrastructure development.

Abstract

Pelatihan dan sosialisaiĀ  diberikan kepada masyarakat yang dalam hal ini adalah para pedagang produk dodol di Dusun IIĀ  Pasar Bengkel Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Dalam pelatihan ini, pihak mitra diberikan materi-materi pokok (modul) tentang strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang baik, benar dan sesuai untuk di implementasikan di sana. Pihak mitra lebih mampu mengembangkan potensi pangsa pasar melalui pendayagunaan media-media online sehingga tidak hanya terpaku dan bergantung kepada para pengguna jalan saja. Dengan demikian maka mitra lebih paham dan mengerti tentang langkah-langkah yang bisa diambil untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang sedang mereka alami. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui pengabdian ini adalah: (1) Jangkauan pangsa pasar para pedagang produk dodol di Dusun II Pasar Bengkel lebih luas dan meningkat. (2) Kelompok mitra terampil dalam mempromosikan produknya melalui toko-toko online dengan mengandalkan berbagai media sosial yang ada saat ini. (3) Kelompok mitra lebih teredukasi dalam mengembangkan usahanya melalui strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang telah diberikan nantinya. (4) Kelompok mitra mampu meningkatkan nilai jual produk dodol melalui beberapa keterampilan dan bantuan yang diberikan nantinya. (5) Dengan terlaksananya pelatihan dan sosialisasi strategi komunikasi pemasaran ini, maka diharapkan dapat meningkatkan taraf hidup kelompok mitra sehingga usaha produk dodol tetap lestari dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how the implementation of the policy to accelerate economic recovery and people's lives during the covid-19 pandemic in Medan Deli District and analyze the Supporting and Inhibiting Factors. The method used is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. In-depth interviews with various stakeholders in the policy. The analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Policy for the Acceleration of Recovery of Economic Resilience and Community Life during the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Medan Deli District has been going quite well. The whole series or process of activities starting from initial socialization, poverty reflection, program implementation, program monitoring all went quite well. The success of the Policy to Accelerate the Recovery of Economic Resilience and Community Life During the Covid-19 Pandemic is strongly supported by the effectiveness of implementing organizations in providing learning, mentoring, independence, for underprivileged communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The obstacle that occurs in the implementation of this policy is that there are still people who should be entitled to benefit from this policy program, do not receive social assistance, this is because they are not recorded in the list of beneficiaries. The weak data collection carried out has caused some problems in the distribution of social assistance.

Abstract

One of the main problems caused by Covid-19 is the problem of communication, especially in controlling so that the virus does not spread quickly. The regional government of Batubara Regency, North Sumatra Province, is required to be able to make top-down policy adjustments from the central government to policies issued by the regional government in order to overcome the spread of the virus. The problem is the amount of information circulating in the community which makes it difficult to optimally handle Covid-19 in an area. Apart from disinformation about Covid-19 and vaccines, changes to Methode's policy were made by the government to anticipate the spread of the virus. This means that in a crisis situation like this the role of Public Relations from the Regional Government is very important in providing accurate and reliable information in order to gain public trust. This research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The purpose of this study is to explain the Crisis Communication of the Batubara District Government in Socializing Public Services During the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results of this study explain the Challenges of Handling Hoaxes in a Pandemic. The conclusion of this study explains the Sense of Crisis in conveying Information and Dissemination of Information regarding the spread of Covid-19. This research is the result of original research conducted by researchers in 2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Strategi dan Implementasi Public Relations dalam Startup Digital Indonesia (Studi Kasus pada PT Nasco International). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dan mengkaji apa saja strategi dan bagaimana implementasi public relations yang diterapkan PT Nasco International. Data yang telah terkumpul akan dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yaitu mengkaji sebuah program (public relations), kejadian, aktivitas, proses atau individu, atau kelompok dengan lebih mendalam. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dikumpulkan langsung dari wawancara mendalam dan observasi non-partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan strategi public relations yang diterapkan PT Nasco International. Dari ketujuh strategi bauran PENCILS, ditemukan bahwa strategi public relations di PT Nasco International diimplementasikan dalam cakupan internal dan eksternal perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan didukung oleh beberapa faktor dalam mengimplementasikan strateginya yaitu penggunaan media sosial dan internet serta proses komunikasi yang terbuka di perusahaan dan terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya budget dalam membuat konten, kecakapan staf PR, dan kuantitas dari staf PR.
