Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya mencegah kekeliruan dalam merencanakan karir di era digital pada siswa SMAN 1 Rambutan. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan oleh Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas PGRI Palembang, dengan tjuan untuk membantu proses perencanaan karir siswa SMAN 1 Rambutan yang relevan dengan karakteristik dan tren pribadi di era digital. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah presentasi dan pelatihan. Kegiatan PKM  menghasilkan profil tipologi kepribadian mereka di tempat kerja, pilihan jenis pekerjaan yang relevan dengan jenis kepribadian dan tren karier di era digital, serta pilihan kegiatan yang dapat mendukung pengembangan keterampilan dan karier yang dipilih Kata kunci : perencanaan karir, era digital, tipologi kepribadianAbstract Community Service Activity  was motivated by the importance of preventing mistakes in career planing in digital age for SMAN 1 Rambutan students. This activity was organized by guidance and counseling program of University PGRI Palembang. Aim of activity is to  helping the process of career planning for SMAN 1 Rambutan students that relevant to personal expertise and trends in the digital era. Forms of activities carried out were presentations and training. Activities was generate typology of their personality at work, various career choice that related  of personality and trends in digital age, also acivities  can support to development of skills and career that choosen. Keywords: career planning, digital age, personality typology

Abstract

The majority of school counsellors in Palembang are millenial generations. Millennial is known as a dynamic and skilled generation in technology, but also feared the loyalty and commitment to work. Therefore, the research aims to illustrate the characteristics of a millennial school counselor in Palembang in a factual way. The research uses the survey method, to get an accurate and clear picture of the different aspects of the millennial school counselor in Palembang. Results found that 1) Personally, the school counselor is able to keep up with changes and are accustomed to improving professionalism, 2) socially involved in school activities, but lack of external collaboration, and difficult to understand the conditions of students, and 3 ) capable of technology, but low in innovating.  Research implicates the development of theory and practice of management and supervision of guidance and counseling and the development of the profession Counselor in the 4.0 era
